D foo.l will soon die a very painful death and demons shall embrace him for an eternity. He's targetting xtians abi |
OUK should sharrap his stewpid mouth there. If the thief had developed abia state for the eight years he was governor, wouldn't it have encouraged ppl to stay or come back home instead of squatting in hostile places. Whenever he wants platform to get some fame he starts acting like he's the champiion for igbo ppl. |
I've never her or even femi falana spit fire like this before |
I just got from a facebook contact's status that the NLC Secretary General and his deputy have been bribed with N205 Million Naira each. These ppl need to be watched closely over the next 24hrs. If they start frustrating the strike then iit means they have been settled. These NLC ppl need to be very careful because nigerians are not the type to be trifled with at this point. |
@ efisher - you know GEJ and his nonsense may indeed be the catalyst. |
I just got a bb message that minna is hot. Heard IBB's campaign office and three other govt buildings burnt down |
Quote from Adanora- "Poster ure a joker. U beta go home and rest your brain malfunctioning" @ Adanora - I don't even know where to start with you. You haven't said anything but blow some air outta ur a.s.s. What's ur point? |
@ sheyguy - you are talking! |
@ Beaf- first of all, ppl don't need ulterior motives to demand fiscal sanity. You haven't said whether or not the wage and recurrent expense bill should come down but I'm sure u know it should. I'm happy you are talking about the coma our local govts are in. Since u are passionate about it, u should work on encapsulating your ideas and pushing them through appropriate channels. This is a good time. You can't tell ppl not to demand accountablity and not tell then why they shouldnt |
@ Beaf - you call a leaner wage and expense bill a foolish agenda? I dey fear you o! Let me ask u a question - does the lau-lau spending of this regime honestly reflect the state of the nation, economically at least? |
Yes I did |
GEJ is a "jew man" for those familiar with the slang. That he would allow his "economic team" (otedola & co) bamboozle him into removing the "subsidy" on january 1st 2012 is very annoying and just shows that GEJ was p*ssy. Nuff said |
^^^ Gbam! We need sanity in our fiscal policy or else we're just a banana republic with oil. Whether GEJ did not have shoes as a child or not he must ensure that the cost of governance comes down. 25% of basic salary my a.s.s |
OCCUPY NIGERIA 10 POINT AGENDA. Fellow Nigerians, Nigeria belongs to all of us. Nobody has any greater stake or right to her than you and I. We must therefore reclaim Nigeria from our tormentors. The present struggle is not just about the removal of subsidy on petroleum. It is also about good governance and also about a fight against the unbelievable level of corruption in government. Our tormentors said we must sacrifice to secure our future. No sermon is as powerful as a good personal example. They must lead by example and we would follow. Our demand should be the following and we would accept no less. 1. THERE MUST BE IN PLACE A LAW THAT MAKES STEALING PUBLIC FUNDS AN OFFENCE PUNISHABLE WITH PUBLIC EXECUTION. 2. THE IMMUNITY CLAUSE MUST GO BOTH AT THE FEDERAL AND STATE LEVELS . 3. THE PRESIDENT MUST SELL OFF ALL THE AIRCRAFT IN THE PRESIDENTIAL FLEET. (The Prime Minister of Britain a much bigger economy does not have one and travels by British Airways.) 4. THE PRESIDENT'S SALARY AND ALLOWANCES MUST NOT EXCEED $200,000. (Our President has no reason, whatsoever , to earn more than the American President.) 5. THE PRESIDENTIAL VILLA MUST BE SOLD OUT AND BE REPLACED WITH NO MORE THAN A 6-BEDROOM HOUSE. (The British Prime Minister lives in a 3-bedroom apartment.) 6. FEEDING IN THE PRESIDENTIAL AND VP LODGE SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 1MILLION NAIRA PER MONTH. (Presently it is 90million Naira per month for both.) 7. NO LEGISLATOR SHALL EARN MORE THAN A PERMANENT SECRETARY. 8. NO GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL SHALL HAVE MORE THAN ONE OFFICIAL CAR. 9. NO GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL OR APPOINTEE WOULD BE ENTITLLED TO FOREIGN MEDICAL TREATMENT. (Whatever is provided for the citizens should be good enough for our officials.) 10. THERE SHALL BE NO OFFICE OF THE FIRST LADY AT THE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEVELS. |
@ bluetooth - na by force to post. There were protests in the south east and that's the koko. If protests have to end up bloody to live up to your tag of igbos being "the most militant ethnic group" or whatever the Zap that means , you go wait tire. Nobody is bound to live or die by the whim of your keyboard strokes my guy |
@ sayusuf - watch d news and stop recycling hearsay |
Because the ppl have confidence in their government |
Ppl who say that the south east isn't participating in d strike should log off nairaland and watch the news, there were demonstrations in awka ana umuahia but they were very peaceful. Abia state in particular was shut down. Abi na till people die from police bullet wey una go gree say dem demonstrate |
Those bastards thought that by now xtians and muslims would be slaughtering themselves. The truth is that God loves this country. Even if the country will divide it will not be through bloodshed |
@ cyberG-pity I'm far from my laptop, I would have been able to see the bolded and even highlight a couple of quotes for you. You attack the op and start chanting to your "tents o israel", then you intercept a pen war between two guys and justify your infirmity called bigotry. Guy you funny o, "indigene wants igbos out". Go pursue them with ya keyboard na.Let's even look at the article sef- "igbos look for trouble bla bla bla" so mobs rise up and start looking to murder them. That is lame writing and painfully simple thinking. But no worry comrade, the future of this country will play out as God wills and if na separation it must happen for everybody to take their future in their hands. Not because your opinion matters in the scheme of things in Nigeria or that u rant from dusk till dawn. |
@ CyberG - shuo ! Did I say anything tribalistic to you and who gives a rats Zap about debating like a bonehead for hours over who has invested or developed the developed the most? We live in an information age you can research the statistics, write a thesis or whatever. The matter is very simple; the op is thinking our ppl should look inwards so our region can develop and so as to ensure that our children are not EVER victimised on account of where they come from . Moreover do you know how much is invested by sme's outside the south-east? Abeg the money is needed back home seriously |
@ cyberg - your response to the op's topic is pitiful and primordially bigoted. Even if you have hatred for igbos at least try and cover it a little. At times I shudder to think ppl I interact with daily have all this bubbling inside of them |
otokx:Wetin concern deliberations over suspending the removal of subsidy with NLC demonstrations. The guy na bush man. |
rhymz:Gbam! Na threat or wetin. |
Peter Akpatason of Edo State - ''I would rather be at peace with my people and be able to face them tomorrow than to be unable to face them like supporters of the subsidy removal who cannot go home to their people'' |
Hon Khadija is a goddess. Brave, beautiful and highly intelligent |
Femi Gbajabiamila is sharper than a samurai sword. "You can't give me what is mine and call it a palliative" |
The statement was just too political for an opposition party. They side stepped giving a direct answer by hiding under the issue of true federalism. By saying it is the federal govt responsibility to regulate the petroleum sector, they are basically saying, "its not our business". Really pathetic and useless press statement |
This man is just a bloody buffoon. Does he think Nigerians are as daft as he and his wife are. 25% of his basic salary which is basically nothing but his 1 Billion food budget stays abi? I cant believe this is happening to us |
Nice one Nchara! E ge bi ndu. You are hitting the nail on the head. I just wish ohaneze and co, even our governors would take practical steps to help our ppl relocate. I know nobody likes to stay in a place where they are hunted but its very very hard to leave everything you have built and worked for. |
