2023 will either bloat the figures of Biafra supporters or reduce it to a very minute minimum. Too late. It would have dealt the death blow in 1999 with Alex Ekwueme but the owners of Nigeria used Biafra as an excuse to back Obasanjo as confessed by Atiku. Put a comedian like Rochas in Aso Rock and the agitation might even increase |

Ikechunna: Stop lying. I've been on this forum long enough to witness the Yoruba actions even before IPOB came to. Even on this forum, each time it was reported that Massob members were killed, Yorubas on this forum mocked and rejoiced over their death. That's all over this forum and I'll be more than happy to back that up with screenshots. Just say go ahead. In addition, when BZM were arrested and paraded around in Enugu state, again on this forum, the people that mocked and belittled them were again Yoruba. Laughable how you Yorubas always lie to act innocent. Even before IPOB came into the picture, Yoruba were always the evil, demonic, animals they are. I know my despise towards Afonjas didn't stem from IPOB, it stemmed from Yoruba actions anytime Igbos were killed especially Massob members. I repeat say go ahead and I'll provide multiple screenshots to back up my statement.. Correct! Even before IPOB remember how yoruba posters on NL would upload pictures of dying Igbo children during the civil war to mock them. In my opinion that made many Igbos start admiring ipob. What made me join NL was a post I saw celebrating Igbos that died in a boko haram attack in the north |

isthatso: your problem is that you are looking at things from the point of enemies...emotion. Even if you have enemies real politicians understand that you need to win over enemies perceived or real. I think it's clouding your judgement. Ibos have never been much of a factor in lagos elections until recently due to migration, I would say the last 2 or 3 elections at most and what started it was comments by Ibos in 2015 which led to the infamous jump in the lagoon comments. Your comments that he holds lagos by playing the ibo card since 1999 are figments of your imagination 1) because the election results show otherwise 20 ibos only started becoming a factor recently.
1999 Ibos were not a factor, east west migration hadnt really developed steam Ad swept presidential and gov elections 2003 AD was the only state in the SW that remained under Tinubu despite the OBJ onslaught into the SW. Tinubu had a pact with Atiku to deliver SW if PDP keep off lagos. This is when Tinubu established himself as a Godfather. 2007/2011 Again Fashola era Tinubu was never under threat. 2011 SW supported GEJ, delivered Fashola it is only in 2015 that the Ibo factor reared it's head. So your analysis of a relevant Ibo vote since 1999 is nonsense with due respect
The fact that you start by talking of enemies says a lot. and explains and butresses my point about Ibos and politics and chances of the presidency. If you always think that misfortunes that befall you are vbecause of enemies you will NEVER make progress because instead of examining yourself and your missteps, you will always be blaming someone else for your misfortunes. You are projecting your own emotions everywhere with very little fact to back them up. Fact 1: Tinubu and his touts have instigated an unhealthy relationship between both tribes to destroy southern Nigerian cohesion Fact 2: Tinubu has succeeded in using propaganda to brainwash a whole new generation of yoruba that Igbos are their enemies. If you deny this then you are not being honest Fact 3: Oba of Lagoon threatened Igbos in 2015 without provocation from any igbo leader and Tinubu quietly supported. Some Igbos on Lagos Island had their shops vandalised by thugs and Tinubu did nothing Fact 4: Many prominent Igbos were part of Nadeco that fought for MKO Abiola's mandate. Is that not building bridges? Fact 5: Tinubu kept quiet this year when touts attacked Igbos in Lagos to stop them from voting for Atiku. Tinubu warned Igbos of consequences for not voting Buhari. Fact 6: No Igbo leader has ever attacked or insulted yorubas like Yoruba leaders do often If you tell me that the enmity is imagination then you must be living on another planet or just dishonest. Tinubu is the problem of southern nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Edwin Clark Warns Yoruba, North: Steer Clear Of 2023 Presidency For Igbo by nku5: 2:07pm On Oct 06, 2019 |
isthatso: Tinubu is relevant because the SE/SS vote as a block for PDP. Buhari tried 3 times and failed, each time he got massive votes in the north but it was not enough. Buhari won when he and Tinubu alligned, If Buhari had significant votes from the SS or SE Tinubu wouldnt be so relavnt and would go back to being a regional leader instead of a kingmaker. Again the SE are the ones shooting themselves in the foot, by creating a divide youve made the Tinubu and the SW more powerful. You have the context mixed up. He is relevant politically because he gives yorubas an enemy to unite themselves with. Lagos has no pipeborne water, cultism and violent crime, terrible roads and traffic, etc since 1999 but every election cycle he holds on to Lagos by playing the Igbo card. Threatening, attacking and using tribalist rhetoric |

LordVoldermort: One thing Igbos like to ignore is what Nigeria has done for them
Igbos were not united until the arrival of the British who through colonialism organised them together then came the killing of Igbos in the north which bounded them together even tighter and they became a tribe
So stop saying Nigeria is dividing Igbos infact Nigeria is what united Igbos in the first place
Hear the way Igbos talk about mbaise people, ngwa people, onitsha people for proof
Love your enemies for once!! No ethnic group was United before the British came. The most disunited was Yoruba land that fought wars for centuries. It's only when the British came that it stopped. The British embraced the Egbas first and gave them Christianity and western education which has given them an edge till tomorrow |

Politics › Re: Edwin Clark Warns Yoruba, North: Steer Clear Of 2023 Presidency For Igbo by nku5: 12:25pm On Oct 06, 2019 |
isthatso: The problem with restructuring is that it will not happen until it is perceived to be in the interest of the North. That will likely only happen when the resources in other regions have dried up. the other problem with your analysis is that (assuming you are Ibo) SE does not have land, that which exists is tied up in cultural norms, so they are destined to migrate to other lands. This is why the Ibo man is the most migrant tribe of all the Nigerian tribes. Ultimately even with restructuring you most likely will still have to seek your fortunes outside the SE. Restructuring will happen when other tribes speak with one voice whether the north likes it or not. If not for Tinubu and Obasanjo who killed the agitation for selfish political reasons, SW were ready for war by 1999 to achieve restructuring at least or Oduduwa Republic. SW was rewarded with OBJ for 8 years and it's problems actually increased despite that fact. That's why I ask who Presidency epp? I totally disagree with the assertion that SE does not have land to accomodate everybody. All it takes is planning by serious leaders. Even if some Igbos want to live outside their region I can assure you that when we all control our resources you wont even care that Igbos are in Lagos. Imagine that SW ports and waterways which are in the hands of the north 100% and yields billions of naira to the FG controlled by the north was going straight to SW coffers. Yorubas would be balling like Dubai |

So speak about what you know and leave what is bigger than your understanding. After restructuring I will be not be interested in Nigeria first. no wonder betterpikinn: The female breasts, also known as “the twins” or “the girls”, have remained the most conspicuous and attractive feature of the female sexual organ. Perhaps, its strategic positioning and function adds to its importance in the life of a woman. Besides the age long biological function of the breasts as a source of food and nourishment for babies, the breast is also a major source of sexual attraction for the male specie, just as it is also a key sexual organ for the woman, highly sensitive to stimulation. The fact that they come in various shapes and sizes, further add to their uniqueness and endearing place in our hearts as humans. As a sexual organ, the breasts have been known to give immense pleasure to both men and women during sexual encounters. In fact, some women have reportedly disclosed that they are capable of achieving orgasm even when thoroughly stimulated through sucking and caressing of the breasts alone. Though, because of this highly sensitive nature, some women find it very uncomfortable or even painful to submit their twin girls to constant sexual manipulation of any kind. Interestingly, men are constantly drawn to the breasts. A lot of this attraction has been attributed to psychological composition, perception and beliefs. For, pray, why would a full grown man be obsessed with sucking some mounds of milkless breasts? I don’t often get logical answers to this question when I ask. The function of the breasts in sexual behaviour has been attributed to human Face -to -Face copulation that is unusual among other mammals. Since the breast already serves the function of mother-infant bonding, then it is also excellent for male -female bonding, says an argument. After all, it is just within reach. For those familiar with some of the social media platforms, you would have come across a particular message that has been making the rounds for a couple of years now. Purportedly attributed to the BBC as source, this message usually springs out during the cancer awareness months and in support of cancer prevention campaign. As expected, it elicits a wide range of controversies from both men and women, from humour to disdain and sexual innuendoes, while some others believe the content hook, line and sinker. The purported message is claimed to have been issued by the Ministry of Health in the fight against breast cancer. One of the versions I have received read thus: Very soon, women will be paying men to have their breasts sucked! According to a report on BBC website, Doctors recommend that women reduce the risk of getting breast cancer by having their breasts sucked thoroughly and vigorously. It is said that regular sucking of the breast lowers the risk level that tends to build up lumps leading to breast cancer. The breast must be sucked as often as possible. Help women fight breast cancer today. Men, please do your part and suck a breast now! And women, please endeavour to make it available regularly…… This message is from the Ministry of Health in the fight against breast cancer. I have tried several times without success to get a confirmation for this story on the mentioned websites including cancer.org and some others in related fields. But perhaps, someone out there knows the original and authentic source of this message? Please share it with us! As interesting as this message may be, as well as the different responses it receives anytime it is being passed around, depending on which side of the divide you find yourself, I am more worried about the health implications attached. Cancer is not something to make jokes out of as it claims millions of lives across the world every year. Again, some frightened lady who hitherto was not in favour of breast sucking may easily submit herself to torture with the belief that she is suffering for a good reason. Please, let us not confuse issues. Breast feeding is not the same as breast sucking. Breast feeding is the process of feeding new born and infants with breast milk. It is this that has been medically proven to be of immense benefit to both mother and child and can prevent breast cancer. There are no scientifically proven studies indicating that breast sucking is of any medical benefit to the the woman whose breast is being sucked or the person doing the sucking. However, what has been scientifically proven is the fact that breast sucking when properly performed is of immense pleasure to the woman and may sometime on its own lead to orgasm or when combined with some other forms of sexual stimulation will help a woman to achieve orgasm quicker. Again, neither has any research shown that breast sucking can give a woman cancer. So ladies, please relax and allow your guys do the job for you. if you are not enjoying the way he is doing it, tell him. I can assure you, it’s a win-win situation. |
