justiz5:@the bolded, he was killed around 12.00am. The hired assassins surrounded his house, some even climbed the trees within the neighbourhood. The attack was so coordinated such that the armed men trailed him and were communicating with those who had already stationed at his house. There was just no way Mr. Denen Igbana could have escaped this one. RIP uncle. You came, you saw and conquered. You have played your part in rescuing the State from the hands of Hired assassins, not knowing that you were going to fall victim to the same demon you fought since the begining of this administration. May the wicked know no peace. Your killers may go into hiding but the Lord shall punish them all. Oh Lord grant us the fortitude to bear this great loss. |

Chippa are currently sixth on the PSL table with just one game to go, but face stiff competition from Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows and SuperSport United, who sit seventh, eighth and ninth respectively, with only three points separating the four teams. A draw will guarantee them a place in the top eight, as well as a place in next season's Super 8 tournament, which Akpeyi said they cannot afford to miss. "We haven't won the league and we're not in the cup final so our only consolation this season is to finish in the top eight," he told AfricanFootball.com "We must get the points to finish in the top eight so we can play in the Super 8 next season," he stressed. It is Akpeyi's first season in the PSL, but he has had a huge impact since joining up from Warri Wolves. AfricanFootball.com had broken the news last week of Keshi’s deal with QTS, one of South Africa’s biggest agencies, and now it has been confirmed that they have made some ‘headway’ in getting a deal for the ‘Big Boss’. “We have made some headway as it regards getting a job for Mr. Stephen Keshi in South Africa which is what we have been working on,” Sukazi told AfricanFootball.com However, Sukazi refused to disclose the clubs they have spoken to regarding Keshi, as he said that might destabilise the clubs involved. “We are not at liberty disclose the names of the clubs at this point because given the current situation in the league, it might destabilise the clubs involved,” maintained Sukazi. Keshi has been without a job since he was sacked as Nigeria coach in July 2015, but has an impressive resume, having qualified Togo and Nigeria to the World Cup, taking the latter the round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup. He also won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria. By Chris Oguguo http://africanfootball.com/news/628515/Keshi-closing-in-on-PSL-job-reveals-agent |
Ujah not sure he has done enough for Eagles recall https://africanfootball.com/bp_images/2016/05/1a7k7oqdvpnzb1d0agwmdsctd9.jpg Werder Bremen Forward Anthony Ujah Werder Bremen striker Anthony Ujah has admitted he does not know whether he has done enough to earn a recall to Nigeria’s Super Eagles. The 25-year-old Ujah scored 14 goals in a season that saw Bremen escape relegation on the final day, and while he said he keeps working hard, he also admitted he is not sure if that was enough to get him back to the Eagles. “I have not had a lot of success with the national team,” he told Africa International. “But I have been working hard at my clubs and my hard work has paid off for my clubs but if that is good enough for the national team, I don’t know.” Ujah’s last stint with the Super Eagles was the goalless draw with Tanzania in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. He has been part of the team since 2013, but has not been a regular fixture since his debut, despite having a decent goalscoring record in Europe. http://africanfootball.com/news/628489/Ujah-not-sure-he-has-done-enough-for-Eagles-recall |

boman2014:Similar to what the Tiv people of Benue State have. It is called 'Ikpa abora tar'. It is normally owned by the very aged or matured people. Its a sign of honour for this kind of bag to be presented to you in an occasion. |
MaQuin:Its very pathetic, some girls don't know how ugly they are, Isssssssssssssssssshhhhhh |
sunkky83: Am sorry in advance, if you will feel offended by my comment. Why is it that women always lay emphasis on "how you say it" why on the other end, Women are the ones that talk any how. Go visit some homes and see how these women treat 'house helps' that do most of the domestic work. How many women here appreciate them just once a month. All they do is to see how they can maltreat such house helps. The worse of it all is that, it is this same type of women who come on online to teach men how to talk to their wives. Hmmmmm if you value good talk this much then why don't you practice it with people that relate with you on a much more closer level. Why can't most women relate to people the same Am not referring to you though. Hope you don't misunderstand my point. **** |
Evina: Maybe you expected me to be sentimental by saying such men are so many in town. But I wouldn't say that. Ask around if you can find 10 of such men in your locality. Ask even among Pastors', Bishops', Evangelists' wives. @bolded. May be because you are a good woman and one that understands and appreciates the good virtues in your husband, you feel I have contradicted my stand. Believe me, I have not. Just do your research well. Some NLanders who are sincere can even confirm here that what I said hold sway. |
Evina: You must be a very lucky woman to have such a husband. Most women take men like your husband for granted. They see men with such virtues as week men. Some secretly mock them with their friends. I don't think I can live this kind of life, because women only respect men who are harsh on them. When you are too soft on women, they never take you serious. They see you as their rag. |

justiz5: I have always announced here over and over that the people behind these ethnic and religious cleansing aiming at depopulating the Christian population in Nigeria are the Emirs; take it or leave it. For they owe the cattle whose business has become a curse to our peaceful existence in Nigeria. The Emirs and the Northern (Muslem) Elites are the ones sponsoring these Fulani Jhihardist to attack Christian settlements all over the country. Read this piece if you doubt my position. However, the herdsmen, under the aegis of Miyetti Allah, pushed for the creation of grazing reserves and routes, which would sustain their nomadic tradition of moving cattle from one part of the country to the other. But representatives of the South-east and North-central zones sharply opposed their submission and threw their weight behind federal government’s presentation by the Minister of State for Agriculture, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, on the government’s plan to create ranches for cattle rearers and consequently restrict their movement. But Miyetti Allah which was represented by its legal adviser, Tukur Bello, asked respective governments and community leaders to “preserve and demarcate trans-human routes and cattle resting points with support from technical and financial partners.” The group also asked the governments to review past interventions and reports, and simultaneously work out a comprehensive development action plan under the auspices of the National Council on Agriculture for the smooth transformation of livestock production, including all actors in the value chain from pastoralists to transporters, markers, consumers and dealers in livestock by-products. They also demanded the creation of a Federal Ministry for Livestock Development in Nigeria in line with practices in most African countries that have a large livestock population like Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic, Chad, Cameroun and Central Africa Republic. The group also demanded the funding of grazing reserves development from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) intervention fund and SDG fund, and asked for support from technical financial and development partners like the World Bank, the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of United Nations, European Union and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (lFAD), among others. The submission of Miyetti Allah was strongly supported by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III; Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, Emir of Zazzau and Emir of Katsina, who were all represented by individuals and affirmed that they had been sent to support the position of cattle rearers. Their position was also supported by Professor Ango Abdullahi and Senator Jubril Aminu who claimed that grazing reserves were created by the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello, and should be sustained.
