Car Talk / Meet Nigerian-born Who Led One Of The Teams That Designed New 2022 Range Rover by NLban: 7:47am On Oct 30, 2021
Meet Nigerian-born Tyough Beetseh who led one of the teams that designed new 2022 Range Rover

Benue-born Tyough Yohanna Beetseh, led the applications delivery and integration project - Global IT Manufacturing team for the build of the new Range Rover.

TY, as he is fondly called, was born in Makurdi. He is an Entrepreneur, Senior Management Consultant and a seasoned global industry professional who has consulted for some of the world’s biggest organisations, delivering key projects for the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, BBC, EDF Energy, London 2012 Olympics, Department of Work and Pensions, United Kingdom (UK).

Taking to his official Facebook page on Wednesday, TY wrote;

"We did it! This one has my blood, sweat and tears in it, and I am super proud," he wrote.

"In 2018, I was head hunted as a project & programme management consultant to lead the applications delivery and integration project - Global IT Manufacturing , for the build of this vehicle. The New Range Rover.

"All we had were rough plans, diagrams of the new build halls and a small team with a big heart.

"I led a team that was, on the average, 10 years older and more experienced than me. I was the only person of colour (black) in my immediate team but got along very well with everybody.

"In between , I ran for the membership of the House of Representatives, juggling between Abuja Airport and London Heathrow frequently. Sometimes working while on flights and on trips between Abuja and Makurdi. Sometimes in Nigeria on a thursday and then back to London on the sunday.

"In between, COVID hit. We weathered the storm. Kept the project on track. It was hard.

"After all the early mornings , late nights , weekend working , long meetings, heated arguments and intense presentations. I am super proud of my team’s effort in contributing to the build of this car

"Glad we are finally able to share this masterpiece to the world. Indeed , this one has my blood and sweat in it , and I will forever cherish the experience

"Someone in my team once joked “ we are building a car that we won’t be able to afford “ , I responded that “there is nothing God cannot do”

"Oluwa, it’s now time for you to bless your children with this elegance. After all, we don suffer for am. Amen." he concluded.

THE HIDDEN PART OF GANA'S DEATH (Benue wanted Militia Leader)

By Rev. Fr. Micheal Melladu

I have sat back to read about the conspiracy theories that go with the killing of Terwase Agwaza a.k.a Gana. The act is x-rayed from a number of perspectives but one fundamental aspect of it lies Farrow: this is where I wish to turn my searchlight.

Many politicians in our clime are not to be trusted. As ugly as this sounds, it remains the sentiment of more than a few Nigerians. People are usually warned to pick up long spoons while on a dinner with some of our political office holders. They have huge trust deficit.

Consequently, when a matter comes up that requires trust and intergrity, politicians themselves go out shopping for those who can midwife the process so as to win public confidence which many of them have lost.

The first amnesty that was granted to Gana was facilitated by the late Bishop Adoboh of Katsena/ala dioces. Things later went wrong and Gana returned to the wild. After much efforts by both the State and the Federal government to kill him failed, those who needed him dead by all means went for a plan 'B' which finally worked.

It was obvious to them that Gana and his gang cannot for whatever reason trust them just as many other Nigerians. Consequently, they brought in our well respected religious leaders and some traditional ruler who were lured into thinking that the project was genuine and sincere. Alas! They were all tricked. In their open mindedness, they came to the dinner with short spoons. Gana and his gang willingly surrendered themselves because of the intergrity of those who negotiated the process.

Now, this is my main problem: we have a case in our hands; should issues of trust come up in our state tomorrow, whom I we going to call upon to facilitate it? The same religious and traditional rulers? Who will trust them again? How do you think they themselves will react if called upon in future for such negotiation? This is where some politicians have placed us for their selfish interests.

Gana indeed deserves to die, going by the quantom of crimes he and his gang perpetrated against humanity, but he died wrongly, in the hands of wrong persons, through a wrong process.

By the way, those who planned and executed his killing have killed more people through their actions and in actions while in office . The sharp difference between them and Gana is that he confessed and repented from his sins while his killers still see themselves as saints, and that is why their guilt is greater.

RIP GANA

Crime / Gana, I Mourn You, Rest In Peace By Orkuma Adzua Ikyur Madah by NLban: 11:57pm On Sep 10, 2020
Gana, I Mourn You : Rest in Peace

Just a year ago or so, Wandume, a chief Kidnap gang leader of Jukun origin in Taraba state was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. The vehicle conveying the dreaded criminal was intercepted by the Military who killed some police men and set Wandume free. Though he was re-arrested in Kano but he is still alive.

Somewhere in Benue, Tarshaku an indigene of Nassarawa who is a fleed Boko Haram member is a first suspect in the murder of Benue Catholic priests and worshippers somewhere in Mbalom. He was arrested with heavy weapons of war yet, Tarshaku is today parading House of Reps posters. He is indeed a free man.

In Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, the story of Boko Haram persons is beautifully treated with glove hands simply because they are fulanis.

Akwaza aka Gana, permit me to Mourn you in the words of Reno
" I don’t understand why the Nigerian government will kill an alleged criminal that surrendered, but rehabilitate confirmed terrorists that did not surrender, but were overpowered and captured. Gana may or may not have been guilty. That was for a court to decide!"

In confusion, let me ask rhetoricals to myself as I mourn you, Was the head of all securities in Benue not aware of the annesty program?
Was the operation whirle stroke and Ayem a kpatuma not aware that you have accepted annesty!

Why did God blind your eyes, close your thoughts and emotions to sense fowl play!

Oh Gana, your only and unforgivable crime is that you are a TIV MAN, a tribe marked for execution by her neighbors.

Yes, you may be a criminal, a killer but above all, you kill and steal in defense of your people who are defenseless because of the terrain.

At last, I'm happy you died a free man. A repented man. A man who accepted peace and love which is the hallmark of Christianity. I am more happy because your killers are cowards and not men of intergrity and honor for they strike when you surrender for good.

Oh, where was them when you stood on the hills and beat your chest as a man to the core? They were all women shivering at the mention of your name.

To the theories of your death; the conspiracy theory and the accidental theory, may God give academicians the strength to excute this for our Libraries.

Rest on Ghana.

Crime / 10 Nigerian Women Who Gruesomely Killed Their Husbands (photos) by NLban: 6:20pm On Dec 29, 2019
10 Nigerian Women Who Gruesomely Killed Their Husbands

Nigeria is a country that has seen dramatic changes in the last few decades and it is also not new that many women suffer domestic violence abuse from men a lot.

While some women think its a norm, others have kicked out against it and some are learning that it is not the norm to be abused by their husbands.

Some women have taken drastic measures to put an end to such abuse while some others just got angry and decided to take it out on their man. It is also a known fact that there is no justification for taking the life of anyone and there are better ways to settle differences.

Without wasting time, we present to you a list of Nigerian women who have made the news for killing their husbands.

Isa Patanmi, the minister of communications technology, recently directed the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) to block 9.2 million telephone lines.

In a statement released by the ministry, Pantami had said the lines did not meet the proper registration standards.

“The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has submitted its baseline short-term performance targets report. The report signed by the executive vice-chairman of the commission contained precise figures of improperly registered SIM cards in use around the country,” the statement signed by Uwa Suleiman, the minister’s spokesman, read.

“The commission in its report disclosed that an estimated nine million two hundred thousand SIM cards did not comply with the proper procedures of SIM registration.

“To ensure maximum compliance, Dr Pantami has directed NCC to ensure all mobile network operators block all SIM cards that do not meet proper registration standards until users comply with proper registration procedures.”

Checks by TheCable showed that network service providers have started placing partial blocks on customers’ lines with notice that they have to visit a network centre to update their registration.

Bashir Ahmad, a personal assistant on new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, shares how to check if your line requires a registration update.

Customers on the MTN network are required to dial *789*1#.

Airtel subscribers are to dial *746# while 9mobile subscribers are advised to dial 746 or 200.

Subscribers on the Glo network are to text REG to 746 or 3456.

In May, the NCC announced that it would carry out an audit of registered SIM cards.

Justifying the audit, NCC said it is “very sensitive to the fact that the Subscriber Registration Database is a veritable tool being used by security and law enforcement agencies in the detection and apprehension of criminal elements involved in heinous crimes like kidnapping, financial crimes, armed robberies, banditry, cattle rustling and other crimes which leverage on easy access to the national telecoms network.

“As such, we are determined to continue to ensure that all SIM cards are traceable to their real owners with the least effort.”

This is not the first time as a similar audit was carried out in 2011 with telecommunication companies in the country getting a deadline to disconnect SIMs with irregular registration in August 2015.

MTN, Nigeria’s largest telecommunications service provider, got a fine of N1.04 trillion for failing to cut off five million unregistered subscribers by the deadline.

It was later reduced to N330 billion.

When she leaves you alone in the sitting room go and meet her. Gist with her.
Take her out on dates
Surprise her
You have to do things like you are just asking her out all over again.
Over one of your dates tell her you are sorry and would love to be the love of her life once again. Pls let it show that you are truly remorseful.

She will forgive you only you might have to reassure her over and over again.

I am no pastor, priest, Imam or Ustaz or Man o God but I have studied almost all religions in the world including Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Shintoism, Animism, etcetera. I also deeply studied religious books including Quran and The Hadith of Prophet Muhammadu and the Bible. These are the two prominent religious scriptures in vogue in Nigeria.

Your Excellency, you are one of the few governors in the history of Nigeria, who go with the toga of Man of God like the Rev. Jolly Nyames and Rev. Joshua Dariye, who unfortunately have been convicted for stealing workers salaries and pensions, etcetera.

But that's by the way, anyways. Therefore, as Man of God Sir, let me remind you that 1 Timothy 5:18 says, "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain, and, the worker deserves his pay." Since you claim it was Holy Spirit who told you in 1992 that you will become governor in 2015 and same Holy Spirit made you governor in 2015, why has the Holy Spirit not reminded you about what the bible says in 1 Timothy 5:18 that "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain, and, the worker deserves his pay"?

Your Excellency Sir, in 2014 few days after Holy Spirit made you APC Candidate in a questionable miracle, you told me that you were going to clear salary and pension arrears immediately you're elected. This is 5 years now having administered over over N460Billion between May 29th 2015 and December 2018. Even in the Quran Your Excellency, it is written, “Pay the Laborer his Wages Before his Sweat Dries”. On the Day of Judgment, Allaah The Exalted will be the opponent of those types of people. Hence, the employers who hire workers then delay their wages for a month or two or three must fear Allaah.

Finally, Your Excellency, since this is just a footnote, let me advise or submit that the two scriptures from the Bible and Quran should speak to you now that it is doubtful the kind of Holy Spirit you have consistently talked about. Since that Holy Spirit has not commanded you to fulfill your promise to workers and pensioners Sir, kindly read 1 Timothy 5:18 and Islam gives top priority to the basic needs of labor. The Prophet insisted, “The workers and servants shall have to be given proper food and clothes” (Hadith).

This principle appears to be a forerunner of modern day legislation of ‘minimum wage’ based on workers’ cost of living index. He also told the employers to pre-fix wages before hiring the workers and “pay off wages before their sweat dries up” (Hadith). Any extra work must be rewarded with overtime, the Prophet insists.

He also seems to legalize the workers’ share in the profit (in addition to wages) of a production firm through his ruling: Give the worker his share from his products” (Hadith). Old age pension enjoyed favor of Caliph Umar who implemented it by saying, “It is far from being humane to let one go helpless in old age after getting service from his youth”.

I once reminded you in 2016 that the change we fought for in 2015 has not found accommodation except the change in the pockets of opportunistic elements in the boys quarters and bungalows power.

Thank You.

Yours Sincerely,

Gurgur Japheth MP

A video of a Jamaican singer who took off her p@nt on stage while performing has gone viral on the internet. The singer, while performing on stage, was entertaining the crowd and got them really excited, as they cheered her.

Diekola Stephanie

Minutes later, she was seen taking off her p@nts right on the stage, in the presence of everyone. She even raised up her short see-through shiffon skirt so everyone could see her big bum. This got the audience more excited and they cheered her even more.

She obviously proved she was an entertainer who wasn’t ashamed or shy of anyone.

Many young women no longer have any iota of shame. Showing off their nudity to the world isn’t a big deal anymore and also, nudity to them isn’t something private that should be hidden.

On social media these days, young ladies post videos/pictures of their nudity just to attract men’s attention and some engage in live videos and strip while their viewers watch with excitement all in a bid to gain popularity and followers.
