PoliticsYouths Reject John Enenche As Obi’s Campaign Council Member Over Anti-ENDSARS by nlfpmod(mod): 3:47pm On Oct 13, 2022
Nigerian youths and #EndSARS demonstrators have criticised the appointment of a retired Army General John Enenche drafted into the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s presidential advisory council on Wednesday.

Enenche, a former director of information who made the 1,234-man Obi-Datti campaign team from the North-Central, claimed the killings of #EndSARS protesters in 2020 at Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos was false.

The ex-General had claimed the Instagram live footage of DJ Switch, which showed #EndSARS protesters dying from Nigerian army’s bullets, was photoshopped.

The video of his claims has surfaced again on Twitter nearly two years after the gruesome incident where men in military uniform invaded the venue of the protest in Lekki and shot at people.

Below are some of the comments on Twitter condemning Enenche’s inclusion in the list:

Today is #NoBraDay. What is it all about?

No Bra Day is an annual observance on October 13 on which women are encouraged to go braless as a means to encourage breast cancer awareness.

No Bra Day was initially observed on July 9, 2011, but within three years it had moved to the 13th day of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October. Users on social media are encouraged to post using the hashtag #nobraday to promote awareness of breast cancer symptoms and to encourage gender equality.

Some users on social media sites also encourage women to post pictures of themselves not wearing a bra. Some women embrace No Bra Day as a political statement while others prefer the comfort of discarding what they view as a restrictive, uncomfortable garment.

CrimeGang Who Track People At Abuja Airport Almost Kidnapped My Friend - Twitter User by nlfpmod(mod): 8:46am On Oct 10, 2022
As shared by Twitter user, Paul of Truth

How my friend was almost kidnapped in Abuja.
His cousin came into town from U.S and it was all fun until he went to drop him at the airport around 2am, he boarded around 2:30am back to U.S.
Immediately he hit the road and other cars were also leaving the airport at the same time

The road was completely free and dark, since the FCT minister has decided to keep us in the dark.

The other cars from the airport were with him and it was more of a convoy with people he didn’t know, as he was approaching city gate, he signaled to his intersection which is Towards Area 1, suddenly one of the cars from airport overtook him, and stopped and his lights went off while the second car was directly behind him, basically he was locked in the middle of two cars at 3am in a lonely location.

Immediately he knew something was up and the only option was to climb the high parameters, which he did and they tried to shot his tyre twice and they missed, off he goes at high speed with two cars chasing him.
Approaching area 1 roundabout he didn’t know police were stationed at the same spot vio stays during the day,

Before he realized he saw torchlight flashing and it was too late to step on the brakes, he had to drive with full speed into the ditch.

The two cars chasing him were approaching the spot and didn’t know police men were stationed there too, he immediately came out of his car in confusion and screaming some people are after me pointing to the cars approaching the police spot, before the police men could understand the situation, both cars zoomed off.

In less then 5mins another man was running towards them on foot from up the bridge, screaming he has just been attacked by the same gang, they were all told to station there until visibility was obvious.

Apparently that gang goes to the airport and track people, follow you to town and kidnap you.

Thank God he was smart enough to escape at city gate, if not wahala for dey.

TV/MoviesFeed: Stanley Kalu Selected By 20th Century Studios To Write & Direct Movie by nlfpmod(mod): 4:00pm On Oct 09, 2022
20th Century Studios selects 25-year-old Nigerian to write, direct Hollywood movie

A Nigerian script writer, Stanley Kalu has been selected by the American entertainment giant, 20th Century Studios to write and direct a Hollywood movie from Matthew Tobin Anderson’s seminal novel, Feed.

The movie which mirrors a dystopian love story will be produced by Zachary Green to mark Kalu’s feature-directional debut.

According to The Hollywood on Friday, Feed is one of the most acclaimed YA novels from the past two decades getting the movie treatment.

Kalu is a trained filmmaker who recently graduated from the University of Southern California and shares his time between Nigeria and Los Angeles, the United States.

He came to the limelight after winning The Launch: Million Dollar Screenplay Competition and having his script, The Obituary of Tunde Johnson, turned into a low-budget drama that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2019 and opened the 2019 Austin Film Festival, and won the Audience Award for debut narrative feature at OutFest 2020.

It received a theatrical and PVOD release in 2021 and garnered a 2022 GLAAD Media Awards nomination for an outstanding film — limited release.

Kalu recently wrote the Kenya Barris-produced sci-fi action project One Night in Compton for Paramount Players.

Anderson’s Feed, which Kalu prepares to write and direct as a film, has been recently named one of Time magazine’s 100 Best YA Books of All Time.

It is set in a future dystopian America, where internet connections feed directly into the consumer’s brain. The plot centers on the unfolding love story between Titus Gray, an average kid on a weekend trip to the moon, and Violet Durn, a brainy girl who has decided to try to fight the feed.

“The 2002 novel presciently tackled ideas of consumerism run amok, data mining and American decay. It became a 2002 National Book Award finalist and received a 2003 honor from the Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards for Fiction.

“Some quarters consider the book dangerous, and it made the American Library Association’s list of 100 most frequently banned and challenged books every year from 2010 to 2019.

Feed will be directed and produced via Kalu and Green’s newly launched Bantu Inc. banner, whose mission is to produce socially relevant films from diverse filmmakers, to create impactful social change through the medium of film and television,” The Hollywood said.

AgricultureFloods Submerge Olam Rice Farm in Nasarawa by nlfpmod(mod): 7:54pm On Oct 07, 2022
Nigeria’s largest farmland of 10,000 hectares in Nasarawa owned by Olam and worth about $140 million investment has been submerged by floods. Entire 4,400 hectare of rice is under water currently.

Olam tried to battle the water for two weeks but but the water pressure just took over and broke the 57 km dykes surrounding the farm. Waste. More food inflation.
https://twitter.com/dondekojo/status/1578412407306625024?t=nxLdC6P9Zf6gEcDS39EnSg&s=08

Flood: Price of rice to increase due to crops lost, says Olam

Olam Nigeria Limited, an agri-business company, says the price of rice will go up by December as massive flooding from River Benue damaged the company’s crops and infrastructure.

Speaking on a programme on Arise TV, Ade Adefeko, vice-president, Olam Nigeria Limited, said the incident affected the company’s $20 million investment and about 25 percent of Nigeria’s rice needs.

Adefeko described the situation as “very terrible”, adding that climate change is real despite all efforts put in place to prevent the damage.

The entire team from the farm worked very hard to prevent the colossal damage that arose there from the dam broke the likes of the dam the dikes of the farm, and that affected us to a large extent we supply about 25 percent of Nigeria’s rice needs and that has been affected and have lost over $20 million,” he said.

“Of course, we are insured, But you can insure crops, you cannot replace crops. So, the crop has been insure, but you cannot be replaced. So you have to grow again. So we are talking about 4400 hectares of farmland gone submerged due to climate change. So it’s very serious.

“Well, like I spoke to the fact that climate change is real. There’s not much you can do about the fact that climate change is real. We’ll continue to do what we have to do. I think NiMET had warned about the impending floods, I am sure you will notice what happened in Kogi as well.

“When they say it rains. It’s not really raining, it’s pouring. So it’s terrible.”

According to Adefeko, Olam farm, located in Rukubi Doma LGA of Nasarawa state, was flooded after River Benue burst its banks and broke the dyke.

For example, we have been battling this water for the last two to three weeks. But finally, the water pressure from the dam took over and broke the dykes and multiple spots, which we couldn’t control. It was the burst from the seams of River Benue and River Niger. Two major rivers in Nigeria are very close to Benue,” he added.

“Doma, where we are, is where we have the largest facility. We have the largest rice farm and mill on the continent. It is a $140 million investment, the national $20 million investment, which brought everything to $160 million.

"On our journey to the communities where we operate, it’s terrible. I mean, you need to come and see what is happening. We have over 57 kilometres of dikes surrounding the farms. The farm was built 12 kilometres by 7 kilometres and 57 kilometres of dikes were meant to stop the flow from entering but this was made after the 2012 major crisis. Based on that, we put a lot of things in place, but you know what? Climate change is real.”

Adefeko, however, said with such loss and damage, the price of rice will increase as the company will be forced to double production.

“Well, what happened on October 2, I will tell you that 25 percent of the crop for rice has been taken out. We should expect an increase in rice prices in December. Of course, that goes without saying, because the entire crop has been lost. We produce 25 percent of that crop to a large extent. Nigeria consumed 7 million tonnes of rice, and we produce 5 million tonnes, and we imported about 2 million tonnes,” he added.

“So right now, the quantum of rice that we’ll have to meet the shortfall will increase. So maybe two or 3 million tonnes or thereabout or 4 million tonnes. So that’s massive.”

EducationCanada To Allow International Students To Work For Over 20 Hours Per Week by nlfpmod(mod): 7:30pm On Oct 07, 2022

This is remarkable!!!

Canada to allow international students to work off-campus over 20 hours per week

Immigration Minister Sean Fraser has announced a new temporary measure aimed at alleviating Canada's historic labour shortages. Fraser says this will allow over 500,000 international students already in Canada to potentially work more hours.

From November 15, 2022 until December 31, 2023, international students who are in Canada and have off-campus work authorization on their study permit will be allowed to work over 20 hours per week off-campus while class is in session.

This temporary measure will also apply to foreign nationals who have already submitted a study permit application as of today. They will also be able to benefit from this policy if Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada approves their application.

Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced this major reform this morning in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.

Fraser explained this measure aims to alleviate the labour shortages that are being experienced across Canada.

Canada is grappling with historic labour shortages and an unemployment rate which is low by historical standards. Earlier this morning, Statistics Canada reported that Canada’s unemployment rate fell to 5.2 per cent in September, down from 5.4 per cent in August.

At present, international students who apply to study in an eligible Canadian educational program may get authorized to work off-campus during their studies for up to 20 hours per week. This limit is lifted during scheduled breaks such as the summer and winter holidays. This policy allows international students to support themselves financially while also seeking to ensure that they remain focused on completing their studies rather than be focused on working in Canada. Facing nearly one million job vacancies, however, has resulted in the Canadian government easing this rule for the time being.

Fraser noted this measure will allow over 500,000 eligible international students already in Canada to potentially work more hours.

Canada is among the world’s leading destinations of international students. In 2021, it hosted over 620,000 international students, a figure which has tripled over the past two decades. Canada issued nearly 450,000 new study permits last year alone. Demand to study in Canada remains strong due to various factors, such as the quality of the country’s educational institutions, multiculturalism, affordability of the Canadian dollar, and the work and permanent residence opportunities that the country offers.

Fraser also pointed out in today’s announcement that Canada has already processed more than 452,000 study permit applications between January and August of 2022, a 23 per cent increase compared to the 367,000 processed over the same period in 2021. As such, Canada has already broken the record it set last year for study permits processed in a calendar year.

The majority of international students report they are interested in remaining in Canada as permanent residents upon completing their studies, according to research by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).

Statistics Canada research shows that international students who go on to gain permanent residence tend to integrate quickly into the Canadian labour market due to factors such as their Canadian work and study experience, as well as English and/or French language proficiency.

This explains why Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offers a host of measures aimed at helping international graduates work in Canada and remain here.

IRCC offers the popular Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). The PGWP enables eligible international students to get an open work permit that has a validity period that corresponds with the length of their educational program in Canada. Open work permits allow foreign nationals to work for any employer of their choice in Canada. The maximum PGWP validity period is three years. PGWP holders can then gain the professional Canadian work experience they often need to become eligible for an economic class immigration program. The most prominent immigration pathways offered by IRCC fall under the Express Entry system, with PGWP holders commonly pursuing permanent residence through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program.

Provinces and territories across Canada also reward international graduates with domestic work experience. Quebec and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams across the country offer permanent residence pathways to international graduates as a means of encouraging them to remain in the province or territory and continuing to contribute to the labour market as immigrants.

Canada has increasingly looked to international students as a key source of permanent residents in recent years, especially during the pandemic. For instance, IRCC relied significantly on international graduates to achieve its target of landing over 405,000 new immigrants in 2021, breaking Canada’s record for new landed immigrants in a year. IRCC did this by inviting and landing large numbers of Canadian Experience Class candidates. In addition, it introduced a time-limited Temporary Residence to Permanent Residence (TR2PR) program in 2021 that enabled some 90,000 temporary residents to apply for immigration.

Minister Fraser also has a mandate from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to identify additional ways for international students and temporary foreign workers to gain permanent residence via Express Entry. In addition, Fraser tabled a strategy in September outlining how the government aims to help more temporary residents gain permanent residence. The strategy contains five pillars, such as modernizing the immigration system to improve application processing times. We will gain greater insights on the Canadian government’s newcomer strategy when they table their new Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025 by November 1st.

PoliticsPeter Obi Manifesto: 'Prospects Of Transformative Governance' by nlfpmod(mod): 2:11pm On Oct 07, 2022
Title: Prospects Of Transformative Governance In Nigeria

We will offer a new brand of transformative and purposeful leadership. The overall goal of my administration shall be to streamline governance, make it more responsive, transformative, effective, less transactional, and therefore efficient and cost-effective.
Thinking through 2023 and beyond, we must think seriously about a leadership that is imbued with competence, capacity, credibility and commitment. Accordingly, we will pursue intangible assets of good governance, rule of law, security of lives and properties; We will ensure that we have these assets in place and stress asset optimization. We will strike a strategic balance that allows us to promote and protect national interest, while meeting our ECOWAS obligations.

We will rebuild Nigeria’s military power, promote economic growth, and enhance its technological prowess with a view to improving Nigeria’s diplomatic influence in sub-regional, regional and global affairs.
Restoring leadership will require that we reassert proactively, Nigeria’s leadership role in African affairs through constructive engagement, peacekeeping duties, and using existing sub-regional and regional forums as well as bilateral platforms for dialogue on current and emerging challenges. We will continue to enhance our sphere of influence via peacekeeping, and trade and investment initiatives.

We shall ensure that in moving Nigeria forward, no state or community will be left behind. Pursuant to its statutory responsibility to protect, our Government will promote equity in power and resource sharing. The federating units will enjoy discernible autonomy. Resources will also be shared equitably. A higher derivation paid to oil or solid minerals producing states will not be tantamount to other states not receiving federal allocations that should keep them viable. We must transcend the rhetoric that bedevils a robust debate on some of these national questions.

We will respect the principles of federal character, affirmative action and gender balance; but no longer at the expense of merit.

We will tweak the security architecture, which will entail reform of the security sector and governance. We will Restructure, Re-equip and Reorient the Nigerian Police: This will include 3 level policing- Federal, state and community.

We will build a Compact, Robust and Ready Mobile Police Force with Rapid Response Deployment capabilities; and Legislate the Establishment of State Police based on Community policing. We will raise the population to police officer ratio to a higher level.

A properly manned, equipped and technologically driven security system with particular emphasis on re-focusing the military on external threats and border protection and police on internal security threats and law enforcement; swift prosecution of criminals, bandits and terrorists; enhanced coordination among security agencies; and upholding the rule of law.

Integrate the activities of the National Intelligence and Security Agencies by establishing a Central Reporting Intelligence loop under the authority the Minister of National & Homeland Security.

Establish a National Command and Control Coordination Center for the efficient management of actionable intelligence, resource allocation and force deployment. Membership should consist of representatives of all security agencies on a need to know basis.

The oil theft is not petty pilfering. It is organized crime by a syndicate that involves a certain degree of sophisticated intelligence and logistical arrangement. We must admit that oil theft is happening because there is domestic and external collusion. The government and the people have the collective responsibility to protect national assets. On my watch those responsibilities will be accorded high priority.

Foreign and National Security policy initiatives, might in the long term entail rebuilding, repositioning and sustaining ECOMOG, as the arrowhead of a West African Security partnership. This is to counter terrorist threats and international subversion of the sovereignty of the West African region of which Nigeria must re-establish her place as a regional power.

We will explore ways of cushioning the forex demands by mainstreaming those components of Diaspora remittances that remain opaque and informal.

We are challenged by high youth unemployment, which stands at 33.3%; 54% for the youth; and 20 million out-of-school-children. We must give this country back to the Nigerian youths. Half of our 200 million people are below the age of 30.

Harnessing our national youth strength and demographic dividends intelligently, must start with curbing the high youth unemployment and creating funding access to enable our youths become entrepreneurs and drivers of our Small and Medium Scale enterprises (SMEs).

We will have zero tolerance for corruption; block leakages and cut the cost of governance. Our total commitment to transparency and accountability in government business is the only credible way to achieve limited to zero corruption.

We will enforce the legal framework protecting foreign investors and their indigenous partners. This is the only way to tamper monopoly and capital flight.

As governor of Anambra State, my administration achieved close to a 60-40 gender balance in appointive and elective positions. The national target has hovered around 30-35%. We intend to progressively aim for between 35-40%, with aggressive gender mainstreaming action plan and rigid benchmarks.

As part of our monetary policy, we will seek to re-establish the independence of the CBN; and commit to a credible and transparent plan to normalize the exchange rate and bring inflation to single digits.

We will remove import and forex restrictions and insist on a single forex market. The current system penalizes exporters who bring in forex by forcing them to sell at a rate that they are unable to source for forex when they need to purchase forex.
This multiple exchange rate regime encourages capital flight and deters investment, which has further worsened Nigeria’s forex situation.

My top priorities on getting into office:

Production-centered growth for food security and export.
– Securing and Uniting Nigeria.
– Effective legal and institutional reforms (rule of law, corruption and government effectiveness).
– Leapfrogging Nigeria from oil to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
– Expanding physical infrastructure through market-driven reforms (unleashing growth-enabling entrepreneurship and market-creating innovations).
– Human capital development that empowers competitiveness; and Robust foreign policy
that restores Nigeria’s strategic relevance.

We are spending more on recurrent expenses. And we are borrowing frivolously. I am not against loans per se; but we must stop borrowing for consumption. All loans must be invested in regenerative projects. We must operate within available resources and strive for a balanced national budget as cost saving measures. Ending the leakages including the subsidy regime and improving our tax regime should do the magic.

Lack of political will and lack of synergy between the Executive and Legislative arms has resulted in a costly inertia in tackling our oversized government. The result is persisting turf fights and competition among several overlapping agencies, and the resultant wastages. Cost-cutting measures must start with rationalization and harmonization. Pruning the size of government will be imperative.

CrimePolice Escorted Man To A POS, Withdrew ₦100k In Lagos. How He Got His Money Back by nlfpmod(mod): 8:09am On Oct 07, 2022
As shared by Oluwagbadura:

The Nigerian Police force today (6th of October, 2022) at 15:44 escorted me to a POS and withdrew 100k of my hard earned money.
I NEED HELP!

At around 13:45 the Nigerian police stopped me at Soliki Aguda, Lagos, and conducted the usual search. After NOT finding anything on me, they proceeded to seize my phone and company laptop and tagged me a yahoo boy. My crime, they said, is that I do not have an ID card as a freelancer.

They searched my phone. They called me a criminal for chatting with my friends on WhatsApp. They threatened to shoot and lock me up!

Next, they took me to their station, just few meters away, then forced me to admit to being a criminal. I refused.

They then asked me to write a statement and at the end I signed papers to bail myself. I transferred 100k to the POS vendor, and then paid 2k naira for charges. See screenshot.

There were 6 officers.
Names of the officers I could get

BusinessRisevest’s CEO, Eke Urum, Found Guilty Of Sexual Impropriety And Abuse Of Power by nlfpmod(mod): 7:49pm On Oct 06, 2022
Investigation into Risevest CEO finds him guilty of sexual impropriety and abuse of power

A six-week investigation into allegations of sexual and non-sexual abuse laid against Nigeria-based stock investment startup Risevest’s founder and CEO, Eke Urum, has found him guilty of sexual impropriety and abuse of power, according to a statement shared with TechCabal.

The evidence presented to the panel could not prove sexual assault by Eke Urum. However, the evidence presented to the panel including admitted sexual relations with an employee and unwanted, inappropriate jokes and conversations revealed sexual impropriety. It also showed a pattern of abuse of power, intimidation, retaliation and workplace bullying by him,” the statement reads.

A member of the investigation panel, Toun Tunde-Anjous shared that the panel recommended that Urum should not be reinstated as CEO. Instead, Tony Odiba, the acting CEO, will remain in that capacity until the newly constituted board appoints the next CEO. Urum will transition into a non-executive member of a new board and will lead the startup’s investment strategy and provide guidance on technology.

As a leader, I have grown a lot over the years and still have a lot of growing to do, which is why I’m going to be taking additional coaching and executive training,” Urum told TechCabal in response to the findings of the investigation. “I regret the distraction that my actions may have caused and fully respect the integrity of the process the Risevest investors and the panel underwent to identify the gaps in our systems and my leadership.”

It took the investigation panel, comprised of Odun Longe and Toun Tunde-Anjous, and chaired by Tomi Davies, speaking with almost 60 current and former employees over the course of six weeks to reach a conclusion.

The investigation panel also recommended that a board of directors comprised of Urum, Tony Odiba, two investor representatives, and one independent member approved by both founder and investor groups, is immediately constituted. Risevest didn’t previously have a board of directors. The panel called that after the board is formed, the conversion of currently-held (simple agreement for future equity) SAFEs into equity should take place.

Back in August, Urum was asked to step aside by investors at the company, despite owning the largest part of the company, until the end of the investigation by panel members appointed by the investors.

“Following allegations of sexual and non-sexual impropriety from someone who can be reasonably expected to have knowledge of such, investors of Risevest have asked Eke Urum to step aside from his role as founder and CEO and an independent investigation is ongoing,” a statement shared with TechCabal then reads.

Urum expressed his desire to support Tony Odiba in his position as acting CEO while implementing the changes needed to ensure Risevest’s culture is inclusive, safe, and welcoming.

PoliticsPeter Obi: We Will Remove Import & FOREX Restrictions by nlfpmod(mod): 5:11pm On Oct 06, 2022

VP Commissions Pandagric Novum Farms In Nasarawa, Commends Gov Sule

In furtherance of its objectives on job creation and economic development, the Federal Government will continue to create the enabling environment to encourage more private sector investments in the agriculture sector, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

Prof. Osinbajo said this Friday at the formal commissioning of Pandagric Novum Farms, an integrated feed and food manufacturing company in Panda community, at the Karu LGA of Nasarawa State.

The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) and Signature Agri Investments are major investors in the project.

Urging for more private sector investments in the agriculture sector, the VP noted that the project’s commissioning was a foretaste of many possibilities and opportunities for investments, in agriculture and other sectors in the country.

What you see today confirms that there is opportunity in Nigeria for investments in agriculture. While government commits to creating an enabling environment, we will look to the private sector for the investments to galvanize growth in the sector. We must indeed, work together to re-define agriculture for the future in Nigeria,” the Vice President said.

While extending the warm compliments of President Muhammadu Buhari to the people of the State, the VP said Mr. President “passionately believes in the role of the country’s agriculture sector as a key driver of job creation and economic growth.”

He listed instances in different sub-sectors of the agriculture value chain where the NSIA, as part its key mandates, has invested in over the last 10 years

One of these investments is the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative (PFI), which was established by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2016 to address the problem of cost and availability of fertilizer.

Adding that NSIA was enlisted by the President as the project implementing entity, Prof. Osinbajo rolled out the achievements of the PFI, which was restructured in 2022.

“Over its 5-year run (2017 -2021), the programme has delivered over 30 million 50kg bags of NPK 20:10:10 fertiliser to Nigerian farmers, resuscitated the fertiliser blending industry, reviving over 60 otherwise moribund plans scattered across the country, created hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect jobs and enabled government conserve foreign exchange by import substitution amounting to over US$100million.

“With the sector now reactivated, the NSIA’s role in the fertilizer value chain has moved upstream,” the VP noted.

PoliticsRe: How CBN's CRR Policy Will Kill The Economy - Akin Oyebode by nlfpmod(mod): 8:44pm On Oct 03, 2022
Some have correctly asked how to solve for inflation. I’ll suggest a focus on supply side issues, especially those affecting food production - storage, irrigation, farm roads, and security. Others like port efficiency, and the usual one, power, are also important.

As for fx speculation, the solution is for CBN to determine and publicly state an anchor for the exchange rate; which will eliminate speculation. Also, adopt a regime similar to Kenya’s where the central bank only funds government’s fx needs.
