Since you're very far, you have to make sure that it is your name (hope you are using three names). Last time from my local government, 3 people with the same name came thinking it is them for 04 cadre, another local government 4 people came.

If you're sure it is you on the list, there is very high probability of getting the job since you might end up being the only person available from your local govt, don't waste your chance like this, especially if it is only money matter not insecurity.

Not sure what you will use as login since you don't have application number as of now.

The exams I sat for console 06 is 1 hour and 50 questions, English, Mathematics, Quantitative reasoning, Current Affairs and some basic questions about customs. The problem is we were not allowed to enter with calculator, but the exam overall to me is simple not very, though.

Ideally you’re supposed to stop at Customs Junction oo, but the bus driver can never ever ever stop there. (I guess u know why) . Rather he’ll stop at Unity Junction which is opposite Police College

Here’s what you’ll do.
The bus coming from Ilorin should drop you at Berger or Ojota.... Ojota preferably, then from Ojot enter a bus going to Maryland.

Then from Maryland you’ll see buses going to Ikeja... enter anyone... while in the bus tell the Driver that you’ll stop at Unity Junction. It’s directly opposite police college, Ikeja.

But if you don’t like the idea above.

From Berger book Uber or Bolt to Customs Training College Ikeja or Unity Junction. It won’t be more that a 2k5

On the issue of mobile phones:
You're allowed to go in with your phones but you can't use them outside BN lines (Hostel). Thing is you might not need to press phone sef do the first few months because you will be so engaged.

Also, I'd advice when you get to camp please and please be careful how you use mobile phones and what you post online. In fact, the service will brief us on the first day on the do's and don'ts. Handbook will be given to us regards the rules. Please let's follow it.
Anybody wey Dem go send go house at this stage just know say Village people dn blow powder for that person head but it's not our portion.

1. Photo copies of credentials, appointments letter (desist from going along with originals, as it can easily be stolen or destroyed) except other wise needed, but I don't think the original might be needed

2. At least Two traditional wears

3. Bed sheets, Mosquito nets

4. Cardigan (sweater), January is very very cold, intense cold and dusty atmosphere in Kano

5. Money.. Money..

6. Spoons, plate, cup, cooler

7. White shorts, white tee shirts, white canvas (No moccasin) , probably again black office shoes may be for POP.

8. Clipper, shaving stick, body spray, perfume soap, detergent. Just personal hygiene stuff sha



note: This is just recommendations, it's what so ever not from NCS

let's all message or call NCS so they can at least release a list of things to bring along.

The 2011 list by NCS included original APL and some other things. Thank you for the information, Ahmed.
