Face front, look at the pastor.

Check out the church decor, this is where interior design comes in.

The seller is a scammer.
That might be true, however, being naive can be almost as bad as scamming, it enables it.

In this case, why did the buyer not know the cost of the item, let's assume it's a real scenario?

Btw, the seller might be greedy or an opportunist, how is he or she a scammer? Was the item fake ?

The one I really advocate for is avoiding lateness and answering calls.

One question comes to mind...if you were to attend a job interview or visa interview, you'll never go late. Why go late to church services...most times you only go to the church only on Sundays sef

Or if you were in a meeting with the Governor over a contract, will your phone even ring out or say you go out to answer the call, never.

God demands absolute reverence.....there's nothing so important that can't wait for 2-3hrs for church service to end
Making money is different from going to church.

How many times do I have to say this? huh

When you make the money and splash it in church, is everyone not happier than when you beg them for crumbs and are always the first to warm the seats every sunday?

The thread you referred to has no bearing with the topic at hand.
God and creation is organized, his house should ne same, ditto his disciples
It has a bearing because your attitude needs adjusting, you shouldn't be straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel.

Just saying.

Nigerians are quick to have God on thier lips but far away from thier heart, if most people actually exhibited Godly character off church day, I would have taken all this seriously.
You're asking for godly character outside of church instead of inside church.

He paid and barred his inlaws from visiting him.

According to him,"I bought your daughter, don't come to my house"

I'm not a typical Nigerian so I dont get it. Would people not eat well or enjoy life if they dont go to his house? huh

the usher is a worker meant to maintain decorum.... Going to sit at the back when their empty sits at the front will lead to disorderliness so its better u obey the rules in set in place in the house of God

If u went to an interview to get a job and u are directed to the front would u go and stay at the back just because u are an introvert.....

Pls let's reverence the things of God above men
Stop comparing church to job, while I have no problem with the constant insistence on where people prefer other people sit, my understanding is you are paid ie make money at a job but you are not paid to come to church.

And then, being given church responsibilities doesnt have to mean "do what I say or I take offence and badmouth you" , or "yes, this is my opportunity to settle scores with that person". If you feel that way or demonstrate those traits, then you need training on what being given responsibility entails.

In the Nigerian setting, why exactly would you dress like a beggar to church if you dont have to? Meaning it's not like you cant afford to dress properly. And especially knowing the importance Nigerians place on your outward appearance when in church?

So your good clothes are for where? Owambe?

You who are talking, assuming you see someone with saggy trousers in church and halfway below the visible boxers, would you comfortably sit beside him? Discuss.

If indeed what you dug up is true, then truly the internet never forgets!
I have been doing a lot of thinking and one of the conclusions I have arrived at scares me deeply.
The conclusion that it will be very difficult, if not extremely difficult for a Nigerian Christian to make heaven. This is a resource topic for another day.
The main issue is lack of self awareness.

You (ie that person) are so bold to be boasting of your openly fornicating up and down, yet you ignore that and be monitoring other people who are even more serious about Christianity than yourself? huh

I dont get it. My point is do you know you are not qualified to judge others?

So does this mean that ladies dont like having sex with men and they only see sex as a favor they are doing for their boyfriends
1. You base your reality on what people type on an anonymous forum?

2. Do you go to church? Are you aware premarital sex is not expected of a Christian, you should repent if you attend church yet engage in this lifestyle.

3. Your statement is very general, dont be an idiot.

4. Use "some" quite liberally when discussing NL topics from unknown persons.

You are mentioning so many things, what's your main focus?

1. Being in a relationship means having sex

2. Learn a skill so you dont ask your boyfriend for money

3. When you exclusively date a guy who doesnt want to marry you

4. You are in a long term relationship without marriage when your friends are married with kids

5. If you have multiple boyfriends you'll be called names so dont date at all

6. Dont be in relationships so you wont be deceived by boys

7. The NL favorite grouse: if you dont have money, you'll create threads saying your husband doesnt give you money.

These are all points you raised but what binds them together? huh

the transition from waec to ssce meant that those who were suppose to pass out in 1989 would spend one more year in school. that is, there was a change from a 5year program to a 6year program. hence nobody I repeat nobody passed out in 1989.
.
People did WAEC and finished school in 1989.
