Romance › Re: Is This The Life Cycle Of An Average Nigerian Girl by nlPoster: 6:28pm On Nov 16, 2019
Girl is anyone under 18.

30, 40, 50 and are technically not girls (unless jokingly), but women.

Op adjust your silly writeup accordingly.

At this rate, you'll say even a 130 year old is a girl.

Culture › Re: The Meaning Of Adelakun by nlPoster: 4:56pm On Nov 16, 2019
La okun in the sense of Moses parting the sea isn't a likely meaning of the name although it's a possible one. That would give it a religious connotation, not a cultural context.

People used to finish secondary school @ 15, for the person who was wondering. Then you could get admission at 16.

This was before the six year system was introduced.

^ it does sound complex so one has to go with the generally implied meaning unless there are indications to the contrary. Your version is possibly close.

Kun could also mean paint, as in we painted the crown or painting of the crown. Or an undertone.

She once said she has nude pictures I sent to a nler? She is not normal.

Lord knows I am never on her own mentions, (meaning I stay away from her ), she just cant stay off mine.

So aggravating.

You are going to a new environment.
To survive, thrive and succeed, you need 4 Nairalanders to go with you.
Who will you choose?
Must you go to a new environment?

Four nlers plus you might scatter wherever you intend to migrate.

Why not remain with the four nlers and build where you are in the settings you know.

Majority of nlers (not all) are actually doing well, not sure why you feel the constant need to quit whatever you're busy with at any given time. I can understand if someone who is very poor, wants to have better opportunities than what seems to be available for them.

You see the western world that every Nigerian wants to move to? The westerners built their countries and made them a place that attracts migration.
Education › Re: Which Popular Person Attended Your Secondary School? by nlPoster: 7:35pm On Nov 15, 2019
OP are you looking for the most powerful secondary school in Nigeria? huh

Although from the list so far, one would think women rarely go to school. Either that or the people saying Nigeria has more females than males, are incorrect.

As long as you're not a hypocrite and/or judgemental, I dont see it as a problem.

Besides, people should stick to the type of company they like without being unnecessarily hypercritical of others with different temperaments than theirs.
Politics › Re: The "I Don't Have Change" Syndrome In Nigeria by nlPoster: 7:01pm On Nov 15, 2019
I think folks might be confusing ki le nwa with ki le fe.

Ki le nwa could be impolite perhaps although not always.

The tone is what determines the context I guess, or vice versa.

They disintegrate, same as the egg when no sperm is present.

Outside of the body, sperm cells cant stay that long.

Sperm consists of a single cell with DNA, my point is it doesnt have organs as if it's an actual human.

It's not sentient, just as the egg is not sentient.
