Nairaland General › Re: The Devil Can’t Curse What God Has Blessed! by nlPoster: 4:19pm On Mar 09, 2020 |
Dasani: So why did I, Dasani, choose to open a topic pertaining to the title? Well, some days ago, I was shocked by an email message from an allegedly "deactivated person" well-known here on Nairaland, who had allegedly rained "curses" on me. It was sudden and unexpected. Because the person had just confesed his "love" for me for the 1,000th time. Then, because of my failure to accept, the "curse" comes.... What got me though, was the person used Psalm109 (complete with my full name dispersed all throughout the passage) to administer the "curse"! Wow!! I have never experienced any thing like that before! It was very easy for me to dismiss it (for multiple readons), because I do not believe that people can just "curse" anything randomly because they recite something and I know I am shielded by my Lord. What baffled me, however, was this alleged "professed Christian" by mouth only... used a chapter in the Bible to "curse" someone that he/she was angry without a cause with?!! Another red flag is when a person claims Christianity, YET questions the deity of Jesus Christ.... I think also that a gentleman on this thread (whom I don't even know, who clearly despises the Lord and refuses to answer to the claims of Christ) tried unsuccessfully to threaten or allude to raining a curse through some false man as well... Is that, however, the Biblical mandate for followers of Christ? Do true followers of Christ threaten to harm other followers of Christ?
So I decided to create the thread so that sincere Christians who may wonder what the Lord thinks about this topic will not be afraid if found in this sort of situation. The Word of God is a two-edged sword...full of power for those who believe.
I unexpectedly came upon the below article while searching for something specific to the topic. I would have never guessed that the same Psalm used to allegedly "curse" me, was written in the article! Coincidence...I think not. Please read the article which I will post next. nairalanders, you see yourselves? Where are those redpillers again? They all seem to have gone incommunicado, I wonder why. ma'am, you should have put this thread in romance section so the folks there can discuss it, perhaps someone would have good advice for the person. |

This is not about "greatness" or who surrounds anybody.
It's simply reminding you to not lose yourself in unreal and self deceptive (self defeating) habits.
Build a proper foundation for your life, not a flimsy one. |

deltateam: The language is Yoruba. That's why.
What's the problem? This attitude is the problem: Tchange1: Yoruba married men and their women likes cheating a lot so am not surprised . Since its a norm for them. NIGERIANS like cheating, don't make it about Yoruba. As for these skits showing one thing or another, I assume idleness is behind most of them. |
