Other than that, I think it's fine. |

Webmasters › Re: Which Web Host Powers Your Blog And Are They Reliable? by nmreports: 6:36am On Nov 11, 2016 |
Good question... Web host is blogger. Domain name was registered on namecheap.com Reasons are: 1) It is important for a new blogger to start off with blogger because of the unlimited space and bandwidth you would enjoy. Although tweaking the html and adding great gadgets will be difficult as in WordPress but for me it's still better. Sometimes, the simplicity that blogger gives is an advantage for your SEO. 2) Hosting a domain with a Nigerian host company is not advisable. Down time are usually high and that's the major problem. One minute your site is up the next minute it's down. 3) If your target is Nigeria or you want to be recognized as a wholly owned Nigeria company then you could register your domain name with web 4 Africa. I think they are not bad at all. I hope I am clear. I blog @ www.HRtechnique.comWe have insights and tips of the interview stages and likely questions to be asked at First bank, Stanbic, DPR recruitment, the HRMC UK tax professionals etc. Kindly drop by. |

Adebimpe1: A Senior HR professional who think asking personal questions are wrong really needs to buckle up. Organizations differ, and questions relating to the job being interviewed for are to be asked, as the case may be.
But then, you don't just ask questions relating to the job alone. It is quite advisable to get to know the candidates you're interviewing. No one will ask you about your family problems, how many times you've been with a woman, or other nasty questions. But questions relating to alcohol, drugs, temper-based, psychological, emotional and stress-related questions are often times viewed as personal questions.
Most job seekers do not actually understand what personal questions are. A candidates that sees "how often do you take alcohol" questions as being personal and decline to answer, will certainly get drunk to the plant, gets himself killed and put the lives of others at risk.
As a professional in the HR, you will not want to recruit someone with anger problems. Most times, candidates lose the chance of getting a well paid job because they refuse to answer certain question. Most candidates even sees "why did you graduate with 2-2 when your mates had 1st class" questions as personal. Not all interviews require job-based questions. As a professional. I only need to ask you two questions that only people very experienced in the field will know. You guys in the HR often ask unrelated questions, and ends up recruiting the wrong guys who ends up destroying the whole job.
As for my post, I used the word "silly" to emphasize on it being used by the young man who replied me. The questions that I have mentioned above are seen as "silly" by most Nigerian job seekers. I was like that until I lost several offers.
Finally, I represent my company in good light, even though you're fighting hard to believe that. I feel as though you have changed your stance from your earlier position of asking silly questions at interviews. Is my understanding wrong?. Anyway, wish us all the best in our endeavors. Let us stay professional. |
Webmasters › Re: Basics Of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by nmreports: 8:49am On Nov 10, 2016 |
idlatest: Seeing your website listed on the first page on Google or Bing search when a search is made related to your site content is every website owner desire, so I took time to do a research on getting our website rank higher on the search engines.
Here are the basic things to do to get your website rank higher on search engines:
1 . content In order to get your website rank higher on search engines, having quality and original contents is very important. Search engines rank website with original contents higher than those with copied contents from another website.
2.Meta Data How does search engines see your website pages? Meta data is a way of describing your web pages along with your page title to the search engines, this is what displays when search is being made on Google or Bing or when your website page is shared on social media. So, it is very important to make your web page an eye catching.
3.Page ĺoad time Search engines would not like to send its users to a page that takes much time to load. You need to reduce the page load time of your website by cutting down the amount of image file on your website and external libraries. Google insight is a very good tool to use and monitor your page load time.
4 . sitemap This is another important factor when it comes to website ranking, it’s important to have a sitemap of your website, there are a lot of sitemap generators online you can submit your website url to and a sitemap of your website will bè generated for you.
5. backlinks Finally, search engines rate your website using backlinks, backlinks are the redirections/reference you get from other websites e.g social media. This tells search engines how important your web page or website is.
Written by idlatest For www.geeksintersect.com Source: http://www.geeksintersect.com/thread.php?id=23 Absolutely right. This is not a guarantee however that your website would automatically be on the front page of Google when a search is made. Another very important point that you fairly missed out was traffic. Without traffic every of the list above amounts to nothing. Your site must be getting reasonable amount of daily visits so that Google bot and crawlers can automatically mark it as relevant anytime a related inquiry is made. I would love to write some other important stuff about SEO maybe at a later date. Its actually a hard stuff for a blogger who doesn't know coding and all. There a lot of tweaks that can make this happen sha. In the mean time, we have some new interview types and stages for the current and ongoing recruitment that will definitely help on: www.HRtechnique.com |

hope4life: It's quite unfortunate that the only weapon, virtue and power to stay in marriage that our today's girls have is 'give it to him well'. This is the mentality that Satan has sponsored through the Western world. I'm shocked that the only thing in the mind of an average lady to give man is nothing but sex. Having been married for almost 12 years now, I can tell you that sex is nothing as far as a blissful marriage is concerned. The presence of God, prayer and the fear of God are the keys.It is then all other legitimate things can make meaning. dan1217: the part of asking questions and being curious is seen by many as irritating to them. I have come to realise that only few people want u to succeed fast when u join a new establishment, they all hoard their knowledge not wanting to share it and always trying to frustrate one to give up.
Even our so called mentors, the idea of I suffered to get here so u too must suffer.. How do one go about this? I agree that while this might be true, it does not apply to all organizations or mentors as the case maybe. Your narration is a clear case of an organization with the wrong values and the wrong mentor as you mentioned. Where I work, upon resumption, you are assigned to somebody who would train you for a week. After one week then you are on your own but with support from your trainer for another week. The trainer is actually also appraised based on how he performed while training you. HR of every organization must develop a process to curtail such irresponsiveness and hostility from staff to a new employee. As per mentor, look deeper, you will find a great and selfless mentor. If one mentor is not what you need, discard and embrace someone else. You own your life and you are the architect of it so do what's best for you always. |

Lovely resource. Three things are important at interviews. 1) Your passion. 2) How you communicate the passion verbally. That is the power of your words 3) Your body language. Your gestures, hand pattern, eye contact and head. I mean it sounds like a joke but if these three things are up to speed, you will nearly kill all interviews. Check www.HRtechnique.com for more insights. Making headway in life is not a joke. Robot txt too is very important. This makes Google crawler to ignore several irrelevant pages on your website that is not necessarily important for them to see such as peoples log in details, phone numbers etc. It also makes Google crawler not to crawl similar pages thereby giving or returning errors. For example, blog archive and same topic on front page. Very important too that blog is simple. Check this out though for insights and would also appreciate feedbacks from the Pros: www.HRtechnique.com |
