Romance / Who Do Men Cheats With? by nnaemeka817(m): 1:02pm On Feb 10, 2022
Good day everyone here. Let me go straight to the point. So many women are of the opinion that "all men cheats" but I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a girlfriend, all to no avail. All the babes I have admired and trying talking to always end up that "they are in relationship" already even after my persistent trials. I am 30, a graduate though I have a business I'm managing currently in one of South Eastern States. I have dress sense and a perfect gentleman to the core. But seeing a girl without boyfriend in Nigeria seems to be more difficult than even securing an oil company job. This makes me to ponder who are men really flirting with if the other gender always tries to pose innocent.

Family / Re: What Will You Do In A Marriage Like Mine? by nnaemeka817(m): 1:05pm On Jan 20, 2021
Ecbatana:
First of all, congratulations on the birth of your baby and may the forces be in her favor.

In order to understand the problem and proffer a tenable solution, let me break down your post as follows;

(i ) You've been married for six years and you live abroad,

(ii) You struggled all those years for the fruit of the womb up till 2019 when your baby girl was born,

(iii) the both of you discussed the prospect of bringing either of your moms to come and assist with the child care. When he asked to know which of the moms you preferred, you opted for yours and also backed it up.

(iv) now your marriage is threatened, he acts coldly towards you and all you now do is nag and complain,

(v) and finally, you mentioned that he visits witch doctors and takes their counsel.

I'd like to pose a few questions where in lies my advice.

1. Where did you meet him; here in Africa or abroad? This is because many ladies here in Africa quickly rush to marry someone they hardly know for the prospect of living abroad. Most of the time it's a thing of ego.

2. Did you court before marriage and for how long? I ask this question because courtship would have given the privilege to know things about him and make a stand. Or, you knew how he behaves and visits native doctors but got carried away by something else.

3. How close is he to his mother? Most men are attached to their mothers. When he asked you which of the moms you preferred, you should have weighed this in your heart before replying him. Choosing your mom over his will give him the impression that you are selfish and want only your family members to benefit.

4. Could you please stop the nagging and complaining? No man wants a nagging woman for a wife. Though his attitude towards you is highly annoying, do not play to the gallery. Since he is not complaining about paying for day care, let him continue to pay in peace. On your own part, be positive, have confidence in yourself, worry less, face your work and in your leisure find something to keep you positively engaged. Most men like to be in control, when he sees you no longer worry and regaining control over yourself, he'll try to re-establish control. Your charms will draw him close to you again.

Let me conclude in order not to bore you, if he has people that he listens to; talk to them. Also, a lot of people need assurances, prayers and fortifications to keep them going. Some find theirs in the church, others in the mosque and your husband the shrine. Do not joke with a man's religion. If you don't like it and can't compel him to change then divorce should be your last resort. After all, you stay abroad and the law favors women in issues like this. Except your abroad is an African country. Goodluck and may the cosmic guide you.

While academic intelligence might fetch us good grades in school, makes us speak polished English, social and moral intelligence keeps us in line with the societal ethos, norms and the values. It also incorporates social etiquettes; knowing what to say, when to say, and how to say them. This eventually harmonises peaceful coexistences BTW people.

Having enormous of one intelligence at the expense of the other becomes a deficiency.

You simply doesn't know how to talk.

I have been to several police stations, to solve many cases for people , and I have been a victims too of robbery and breach of contracts..In all, I paid money...In my eyes I saw how police are making millions in their stations on people who have cases..
And at the end, after arm twisting people to pay , at the counter people will still pay for Bail,
Anyone who enter cell will pay for Soap, pay for water , which were not provided
In police station ,you will see BAIL IS FREE, but its never free
Even if you have a lawyer, its your lawyer who will negotiate the bail for you
All the money police make illegally get to the top, and it is hard their hierarchy change this narrative

Below is the pedestrian flyover in MCC Onitsha along Onitsha/Enugu expressway. Sometimes last year, the adjoining section of the bridge I circled flipped off from one another for quiet sometimes until the government came and restored it to normalcy.

Just today, another crack occurred again.

I have seen people with similar stories as urs. But what do we do when it happens, we don't think of suicide. Instead, we dust ourselves and take it as our fate. I studied 5 years course between 2012 till 2017 in UNN. I won't say I am that brilliant student; though I try as much as I can to escape carryovers after having one in my first semester first year. I never imagined carryover will be my portion again until when I couldn't see my name in the list of graduating students. I was devastated and I went down to school to know the actual problem. Low and behold, I had 2FFs out of 16 courses I offered in my finals excluding project... Alas!!!.. I dried up and lose weight withing couple of days. I broke the news to my people, close friends and associates and at least, I was leveraged a bit with their encouragements.

Right now, my course mates are serving but I am here still going around sch preparing for the second exam coming next week.

So Bro, dust urself and pick up the challenge. Suicide won't help the matter. If u couldn't meet up and lands in extra years, it doesn't mean extra life. Embrace it and work harder for ur academics.

Politics / Re: How Buhari Averted Disaster In Ogoni Land ~ By Mohnice by nnaemeka817(m): 9:31pm On Jun 03, 2016
mohince:
If Buhari visits Ogoniland today and an attempt is made on his life, two things are bound to happen and both leads to only one end. One is to take him out using snipers or whatever and then what? The army will wipe the entire Southeast and South South off the surface of the earth. The army, Air force, Navy and all other security forces will be given a 'shoot at sight order' to keep shelling the entire region until nothing moves again, yes, nothing. The other is to make an attempt on his life and he escapes the assassination plot; either ways, the security agents will still kill everyone and everything. So, who wins?
No matter how it plays out, the northerners will immediately commence ethnic Cleansing against the Millions of southerners in the North and the Southerners will also annihilate the Few northerners in the South and a full scale war that is worse than the Biafra or bokoHaram war will begin. Every ethnic group will take up arm against the other and continue to kill one another till the whole country is littered with corpses. Then the international community will wade into the crisis in the name of quelling the fight and take our oil and lands away from us. Then another round of Colonialization will begin in full gear and the few ones that are lucky to be alive will become slaves to the West. Biafra is lost and One Nigeria is also lost. So, who wins?
Then 60 years from now, one of the few lucky survivors of the war will author a book with the title: 'There was a country' or 'Buhari's visit to Ogoniland: The beginning of the end of Nigeria'; or something like that. Again, who wins?
But after a deep thought, I told myself that Buhari was right to cancel his visit and take the Shame that comes with it. He has clearly demonstrated a rare statesmanship that is worthy of emulation. The Buhari that I know is not worried about his life; he fought in the Biafra war 49 years ago. He is a war General who has seen death on several occasions. He is only concerned about the millions of life that will be wasted because of him as well as the aftermath effect of such bloody situation on the over 170million lives of fellow Nigerians.
Thank you baba for saving our lives. You have just earned yourself the title of 'The father of a new Nigeria! Shame on you Wailers!
God bless Nigeria
God bless President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR!
See ur child brain! You are very stupid. We have no southern soldiers again??
Business / Re: My Bad Experience with a branch of Access Bank by nnaemeka817(m): 6:41pm On May 25, 2016
ishaq062:
My bad exprience with Access bank customer service yesterday. I took a night bus from lagos to abuja when I got a message that I should proceed to kaduna for one or two reason, I have family members living in kaduna but was not having much on me to buy some gift for my brothers and inlaw, so I decided to follow the bus I took from abuja to command junction, after then a keke to kachia Road.

I got to the bank trying to get a withdrawal slip, I could not find one and i approach a lady to ask "may I know where I can find the withdrawal slip" and she said to me don't u have an ATM. She just angrily directed me to another lady, and she too asked me rudely; where is your ATM. I said I was travelling and I ran out of cash and I am in need of money but she told me i can't withdraw with the slip and I should enroll for another ATM. I told her i can't and after that I requested for a transfer form then she directed me to another lady.

The lady @ the transfer deck asked me what kind of phone I am using to which i answered Nokia 206. After some minute of filling the form, I asked her the time I will receive a notification and she said she can't say but it has been done.

MY OBSERVATIONS And REASON FOR PORTING OUT
1. They all lacked politness and courtsey
2. They don't value their customer
3. Non challant attitude
4. Poor customer experience and engagement
5. They all don't care if u stay or leave
The worst bank so far. I only use it when I don't have any other alternative

PEOPLE, RELIGION AND ACT OF FAITH

By Onuja Kevin

I certainly don't get it justifiable when people becloud their senses in the intrigues and artifacts of twenty first century act of religion and faith! Honestly, I hate it with undiluted disdain when I see that the present central messages and preachings within the Christendom revolves around building a world where people won't suffer and get whatever they want; as in the days of garden of Eden! The follow up here is for them to claim it with faith and watch while the miracles unfolds. Nonetheless, the today's proliferation of churches with their different biblical understandings, teachings and interpretations gives credence to the Karl Marx popular theory that "religion is the opium of the masses".

In a recent program granted by radio sapiensia onitsha on the issues of broken relationship and all that, a caller was on the same page with the German Economics'. As Marxism was that humans should be led by reasons and that religion was masking the truth and misguiding followers. Marx further opined that when one views society and life through the lens of religion, they are blinded to the realities of their life. the caller lambasted how the principal preachings of the today's churches centred on the sempiternal favours for the worshippers while the encouragement of hard work and challenge confrontation has been jettisoned. In furtherance of his opinion, I think it's high time we take cognizance of some of these prophet of doom; who have turned to be opportunist as regards the contemporary "make it quick" and "shortcut" syndrome. Hehehehe......

The men of God easily foresees a jeep, an American husband/wife, a duplex and things worths of golds and diamonds for someone who might not have been serious with his/her life provided they gives tithe and other offerings. The tendency of these scenarios in our diverse society is that people continue to wallow in self-pity to the detriment of the prevailing life challenges instead of rising up to take the bull by the horns. In another words of Marx, he said that if people are to know and understand the real world, they must give up superstitious beliefs because they have a narcotic effect on the mind,'.

I am not trying to doubt the power or the existence of miracles and prophesies; but it's high time people give a bold demarcation between the world of idealism and realism.. Furthermore, I had an interaction with a member of one of these new generation churches; and to much of my chagrin, he made it clear to me that he has no reasons to dash to the chemist and take drug supplements in times of ailments; stating that drugs are meant for the unbelievers and believers who are not yet "BORN AGAIN" lollllllllll!!!! Funny enough!.

In a particular newly-consecrated church I attended weeks ago, there was an appeal to make donations in support of the priests father's burial; and guess what! The burial ceremony will cost the church N800, 000. Even though the consequence of such obnoxious announcement was felt immediately as many people left instantly, one still find it boggling to understand whether churches are becoming profit-making organisation. In theses filthy situations, the congregations are normally cajoled under the canopy of "faith" never to compromise with their mindset and make heavy donations in return of surprise favours after math. I am not trying to say people should not make offering, donations and all that; but the bottom line is how such makings have made some to be too myopic, forgetting that we have realities and principles of lives and livings. I have been configured to live a life of the rationalist rather than the empiricist.

I am a Christian; and to the least of my knowledge about what is written in the scripture, James 2:15-16 says If a brother or sister is poorly clad and lacks food for each day, And one of you says to him, Good-bye! Keep warm and well fed, without giving him the necessities for the body, what good does that do? In verse 17, it summarily says that faith without good work is dead.

I was moved to put up this today prior to the fact that it has been swinging so long in my mind like a pendulum. I wish someone gets gets something straight to his head. Una weldone
