So I read it on twitter some weeks ago that UAE now gives 6 months visiting visa. I have tried to verify from all available sources and has been carefully reading If I would see something related to that.

Is the info true?

E-visa issue date 18-April

Date of visa stamp issued 31-May

And finally the expiry date on the visa stamp is 29-July

u have 45 days to go to abuja for biometric from 18th April

u have until 29th July to enter UAE

ur 3 months visa starts counting immediately u enter uae (assuming u enter uae 28th July, u'll have to return 25th October)

Okay let me tackle this issue that is confusing all of you and for those giving out wrong information here.

Once your E-Visa is out and your agent sends it to you, then you have 45 days to visit the Abuja embassy for bio metrics/Payment and sticker, after that they give you appointment date for visa stamping/collection.

Because if you don't go to the embassy early, the visa might expire in your hands within those 45 days pending when you get an appointment at the Embassy.

After your visa sticker has been stamped on your passport, you have roughly 50-60 days validity to enter the U.A.E.

But I always advise travelers to leave within 1 month of receiving his/her visas from Abuja embassy.

Hope this helps.

i'm not trying to counter ur explanation, but after the visa is stamped on the passport, there's an expiry date on the stamped visa; what that date means is u have to enter uae before that date and then ur 3 months starts counting immediately u enter uae.

this is what am saying , your own case defied all logic about visas have seen, yours is more than 45 days now and no problem. the issue of 45 days I do not understand. I need to be educated ere.

i want to end this issue of date confusion. So tell me, have u done ur biometrics? If yes, have ur passport been stamped with UAE Visa? If yes, give me the dates starting from the date ur agent sent half-visa to the date on the stamped UAE visa in ur passport.

i still dont understand this 45 days thing. my visa was issued from UAE on 18th April, I did biometric on 31st May. I left naija on the 22nd of June and got to Dubai on the 24th of June.

i still not understand this 45 days time interval.

Now, for everybody who's stil confuse, i'll use chekz169 case to xplain beta. Chekz169 entered UAE 24th June, ur 3 months will expires 28th Sept., meaning ur return flight shud be 25th Sept. (u have to leave UAE 3 days before ur visa expires)

Hepatitis B is considered as one of the contagious diseases in the UAE and based on that your friend may be deported back to Nigeria and thereafter he will be denied entry to UAE anytime he applies again because they now have his details on the government system. Any person who has an infectious disease could be denied entry to the UAE.

The rules and guidance as to how someone with Hepatitis B is treated have changed over the years but this is largely in respect of renewals. While anyone applying for a residency visa that is found to have hepatitis B will have the application rejected, those renewing a visa will no longer be deported with treatment and vaccinations being provided instead.

If someone applies for a visit visa and the system shows that they have previously been deported for an infectious disease, they will have their application declined as a matter of course.

Plz justi4jesu what do u suggest we do, som1 said he shud ask for the employer to issue him 6 months visa and find a gud reason for that, and in that 6 months, probably he must hv worked out somtin.

the person can be treated here provided he has the funds and some months available because it usually takes 3- 4 months before they will confirm that the person is free from the diesease. But I will advise the person to go back and treat himself in Nigeria because if you don’t have medical insurance card here, their hospital bills is very expensive...

the person hv juz one month left on the visa

In the same context, the Cabinet adopted a decision to grant people overstaying their visa a chance to leave the country voluntarily without a "no entry" passport stamp. A new 6-month visa will be introduced for job seekers who overstayed their visa but wish to work in the country. The temporary visa enhances the UAE’s position as a land of opportunities and a destination for talents and professionals.
As for Individuals who entered the UAE illegally, they will have the chance to leave voluntarily with a "no entry" stamp for two years given that they provide a valid return ticket.
Equally, in a step aimed at simplifying the process and easing the financial burden on individuals wishing to adjust or renew their visa, they can now do so for a fee without having to leave and re-enter the country.

justi4jesu when is this going to take effect

You're quite up to date!

Yeah, I knw bcoz my girl went to look for job in the company where they do visa, she was told that before she'll be given a marketing job, she needs to bring some pple to petronise the company. She took some Nigerians who needed to do Visa Change, but they were told that Nigeria have been banned from doing Visa Change.

So, evry1 take note of this. It's either u get a job or leave the country immediately ur visa expires. And funny enough, job is vry scarce. I just pray that after the Ramadan, they'll be jobs

No offence was taken. I don't think so. I believe I might be able to help someone here by providing a few pointers. I also need help since I am trying to get my Dubai visa and I am not connected or familiar with the processes in Nigeria. The USA thread helped me prepare for my USA visa and I think this thread will also be helpful... Although, I am not a frequent Nairalander.

Thanks.

With the wonderful package job u just land, I dn't believe the company couldn't do ur travel documents (visa, flight, etc)....

Hey, I modified my post to include resources just in case you are interested in learning any of these things (just being helpful cause you sound curious).

It's not like it's 4 completely different things. They are kinda related. I could have also added digital marketing. Like I said in my post on the USA thread, I am an unschooler. I adapt and learn what I am curious about or what is necessary for me to stay relevant in the marketplace. I don't relax because maybe I studied X in school.

Second question: It is a software engineering position. But I guess my diverse background made me stand out.

The other question about the company, I might not be able to disclose for now. But you can quickly look up companies in Dubai or anywhere you are interested in and apply directly from their official websites. You should be able to identify a scam when you see one.

Have more questions? Shoot smiley

I think u're way took skilled to be here. No offence!!!

Lol..see ehn, nobody is asking you for personal details. So no need to keep hinting at how you want to remain anonymous. Perhaps the best way to start wasn't about coming here to tell everyone "my company will pay me 23K" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you truly want to remain anonymous stop jumping upandan replying every Tom Dick and Harry. Focus on what you're here for..to get information, not to let us all your business.
My 2cents tho.

I was gonna say same. He's neither here nor there. 23k Job that we don't knw the company name, we don't knw the job type, we don't knw the city,...with such lucrative job offer, i believe he shud be more experienced than any1 here. Evrybody here is juz hustlers.

Once again, evry1 shud stick to what they earning oo,...and those that are still searching shudn't depend on any1 to land them any lucrative job.
