That’s good. You can deliver in UAE. Just visit the hospital together, both insurance cards will be used for you. I’ve seen this being done severally with daman.

Good day All, plz I have jst two questions to be cleared about, I plan visiting Dubai on two weeks tourist Visa 4 jst 6days in May for tourism purpose.

1. I want to book Etihad Airways which will have layover in Abu Dhabi then 1hr 40min to Dubai Bus station, plz hope am booking the right flight?

2. If am Booking for Hotel is it most I pay for it before leaving Naija or I can make reservation and pay at the hotel or look for a cheaper one?

Will really appreciate ur prompt response!
Thanks.

1. Best option would have been Emirates (i.e. direct flight to Dubai)

2. It's not a must to pay before leaving as you can make payment on arrival, you can book reservation and upon arrival you can still look for cheaper hotel.

Good morning, pls i want to enquire something. I have a relation in dubai who wants to help me get a job there before i come over. I have sent him some documents he requested, total cost is 1million n d company wil process my visa n provide accomodation. I will first pay half of the money den complete it wen d visa is out. What i want to know is if i must sign document frm d company showing dat i have gotten employment first before making payment.

All this my Frnd, my relation, my this, my that, wants to help me; if you guys have read this thread very well you'll know that those your frnds or relations are only after money and cannot in anyway guarantee you job in Dubai; this is why the gurus in this thread have always advised you moved down to uae with ur 3 months visa and hunt the job ursef. And if you so much trust you relation and/or frnd you give them money for employment visa then you shud trust them all the way until you receive ur visa +/- job as promised.

Honestly, after reading this thread I can't believe some pple will still fall for "my frnd", "my relation", etc. Let's be wise with out hard earned money plz.

Below listed are the Medical tests you will have to undergo and I don't think you have any issues.

AIDS/HIV..... Deportation
Hepatitis B... Treatment
Hepatitis C... Not tested
Leprosy......... Deportation
Pregnancy... For house maids
Syphilis......... Treatment
Tuberculosis (TB)... Treatment then deportation

Are you very sure that Hepatitis B patient will only be treated and not DEPORTED Bcoz a friend of mine had to come back Nigeria back she found out she had Hepatitis B after she had gotten job was her boss was about going for her visa. She was afraid and had to return. Plz confirm that bolded. Thanks

Many thanks for your contribution.

I have just three weeks leave in a year which from all indications can't really be sufficient.

BR

Then move over to canada thread if there's any and start making plans for such country, uae has no future for foreigners and with 500k/month you can make good plan to move over to canada for skilled job/visa and of course you can raise your family over there. Just think about it

@ NIGHTLIFE100

Great Advice. However, I'm sure this is based on your personal experience. I have had guys with similar qualifications and experience making more than twice my salary here in Nigeria, move-on to another country and made it big. Though, not UAE.

I might still risk it-moving to UAE. 'll never do housekeeping jobs. Worst case scenario, I'll return back to Nija

Many thanks again for your contribution.

Rgds

Just to chip in a little advise, why not ask for leave from your current work place and then use that opportunity to travel down to uae to do your own survey and possibly hunt for job and if you eventually land a job, you'll proceed from there and if not at least you get to see how things works and you still have your job to return to.

Hello house I need someone to help me with tickets as in how much can I get it now and how can I go about it pls urgent answer asap thanks

there are answers that are faster to get from google, no one can specifically tell you how much flight tickets cost here, bcoz it's not fixed and differs according to the time of travels. SO USE GOOGLE FOR THIS or better still use wakanow.com

To everyone here, I need a candid advice to those who are experienced in matters-related to Dubai. I went to Dubai around December last year, and I left February this year! Initially, I only visited as a tourist and I enjoyed the place! The security, cleanliness, relationship and composure of that country is a top-moth. That been said. Now I’m planning to go back again as a worker, I mean, to find a job!! Would you advice I do 3 months VISA or find a million to do the resident visa? Because I heard someone with a resident visa would earn more than someone who got employed with 3 months visa. How true is this? And what advice can you give?
NB: I have the resources for the 3 months package including the ticket fee, but I don’t have a million yet for the residency..

Thanks and will be waiting for your advice

Jesus!!!... shocked shocked shocked broz you spent 2 solid months in dubai only to come here and ask this?, if you were my brother i'd flog you ass out!

This does not mean shyte.

Online visa applications (UAE) have never worked for Nigerian passport holders. Its either you apply through emirates, four to five star hotel when you have a paid reservation with them(Plus or minus Other valid visas like US, UK, Canada or Schengen)or the most popular route, through an agent.

So its nothing new really .

yes ify, you're totally right, i remember when i tried it sometimes back before all this stories about naija people

I entered UAE two weeks ago, but what i met here was so disheartening and disappointing. I am not been tribalistic but our igbo brothers are bleeping us up.
And if you know say you don tekko if they catch you, na Home straight.

I'm sorry to say but u hv a problem and that is being tribalistic and that is the problem with Nigeria as a country. When something bad happens, we trace the person involved down to the part of Nigeria where h/she came from and blame that part of the country and when something good happens we hail the person as either a biafra or northerner. Why can't we blame som1 as a Nigerian and at the same time hail som1 as a Nigerian. We keep lying to ourselves that we are one Nigeria whereas our attitudes says otherwise.

I hope you learn from ur mistake Dannybammz for the sake of our generation unborn.

i just need your help. I have a 3 months visa to Dubai. I already had 1000 dollars for BTA. but can i come with one way ticket or must i come with round trip ticket. I can only afford the one way ticket. But I'm not really intending on coming back. Just want to look for a job there and be there. Can i come with one way ticket. Please i really need all of your answers

The answer to ur question is a CAPITAL NO. If you're travelling to any country with a visit/tourist visa you must book a return ticket back to your country, you can only book one way if you have a residence permit/visa.

Thanks. I appreciate your post.. I get almost that amount and my manager promised to increase it by June. I understand you but its a big sacrifice to travel to a new place and start all over again. I have a friend who I think is better & more experienced than me getting only 6k. And I also have another friend who came to UAE just last month getting about 25k. Getting a good job anywhere is still with God (Luck). So, as good as getting a new passport is, It might be risky to start from those countries from scratch. Sometime, I will be motivated to go for it, then again I will relax & start procrastinating.... But AlhamduliLLah, it's good problem... I am just scared of the unknown...

Guy, if you're earning almost 20k in uae, then why would want to leave and start life afresh in a new country. Meanwhile, i'd like to know the kind of job u do, maybe i go venture into that aspect. grin grin grin

What job were you offered?

Also, the Ok to board is meant to be communicated from the company employing you in UAE to the airline you're flying with.

On d visa d wrote sales manager. But he said I will look for job by myself when I come to uae.

The normally write sales associate/manager on 3 months visa and when the person gets there h/she starts hunting for. Now that sounds just like the visa u're holding.

If you're sure that it's employment visa then the company needs to sort out the ok to board

I have a brother that got a driving job @ Dubai last month ... So far he has done medical over their and according him , he is awaiting emirate id with one other step before real training begin. To cut the long story short , our aim is dat he should go their and do proper survey and guide me on what offer would be good for me ...as at last week he told me their is this freelance package he would like d agent to run for me , that I will engage in a course when I get to UAE and that the course should cost me about #500k and after the course I'd be eligible to work anywhere to get jobs that would pay 5k+ dirhams monthly ... Pls I'd like to know if this freelance will actually guarantee me of getting job or I should stick with a driving job that can guarantee me a pay of 3k+ dirhams monthly ... Pls note : na bank loan I intend to use run all dis , which implies that I'd need to make a monthly payment without any form defaulting
Pls I need guidance

My only advise to you is while being positive also read the msgs of those on ground right now in uae, especially those that've and are still there looking for jobs and it's not yet forthcoming. The current situation in uae doesn't have any guarantee job for anyone MOST ESPECIALLY NIGERIANS, but maybe if he gives you details of the course in question people who have idea about it will advise in that regards. I'd rather take a bank loan and play bet9ja than using it for uae job hunt giving the current state of things.

What am I saying? In a nutshell, before you take that loan, prepare your mind for the worst, try to have a backup plan shud in case the driving job didn't work out.

Goodluck!

But it is a lot better than Innoson's operation they have overhead cranes.

Assembly of chinese parts and logo is still an err they will work on, now its time to get those government and military contracts.

Innoson might have to default on his loans again.

Where are the assemblers getting their forex now?

Don't worry about hard hats, the skull is thick enough

That one oyinbo is engineer enough for that small operation

It's better than Innoson because they have crane Dude the brand 'Innoson' alone is way more than that the this workshop we're seeing here. Ask yourself why no one know of this firm if truly it's operation is productive

OP, thank you for sharing this story with us.

I've said this before and I'm going to say it again that one thing that I love about the Yoruba's thug is that they don't deliberately attack an innocent person. In as much as they are troublesome, they are also people with value. They placed innocent lives above properties.

I'm not defending thuggery......Okayyy, I'm actually defending thugs. People became thug because they have this extreme hunger for power and the need to be praise and seen as a god.

If I have opportunity to influence government, I'll be flooding our militaries and our security agencies with these guys with a little tweaking to their mentality. These guys can be asset instead of the liabities they have become.

Responding to the bolded, no matter how hard you try to convince a vulture from feeding on human, vulture will always be vulture!...Thugs will always be thugs. Security agents are meant to be such types of persons who can reason with people, and not just about violent.
