Meldrick:
But is it really wrong to sanitize an industry that was at the verge of collapsing. Don't you think something worse would have happened but for the timely intervention of Lamido. A bank that declared a huge profit last year only to run into a loss worth billions of Naira this year. Doesn't it strike your mind that there were lots of fraudulent and dubious practices. Figures were manufactured to decieve the public and profits were declared on the floors of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Notable audit firms cheaply sold their integrity and connived with these banks to give them a pass mark. Public offer was made. Students, young graduates, and others who sweated hardly for their money bought these shares only to realize they have been decieved (permit me to use the word duped). Are these bank chiefs or thieves not worse than the robbers on the street. Even the public who bought sshares from them find it difficult getting loans from the banks.

My there friend what is happening is inevitable. If it didn't happen now, it would have happened some day.
My prayer is that God should punish all those at the corridor of power who make life miserable for the masses. God should punish those bank chiefs that have put these bankers out of their jobs and May God provide better jobs for them. Amen

- Spot on . . .

- Nevertheless Sanusi himself leaves room for suspicion . . .

Notable audit firms cheaply sold their integrity and connived with these banks to give them a pass mark.
I just pity the young staff of those audit firms that would have been put under pressure to succumb to the bank, cus in reality its not those at the top of those audit firms that actually do the main auditing its those at the bottom that usually end up doing the heavy lifting.

You wonder why people in the financial or audit industry tend to sometimes have a wayward social life . . . the reason is simple . . . a number of them know that they have connivved with the committing of fiancial fraud in the banks, hence the only way to blunt their conscience is by participating in more and more cases of wayward social excesses.

In case some people are unable to access and download the Copenhagen Treaty from the provided weblinks, I have hereby attached the pages of the treaty as images. The treaty basically consists of 13 pages.

Below is the link to the leaked Copenhagen Treaty document . . . that I stumbled upon on the internet.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/23831690/Copenhagen-Climate-Change-Agreement?autodown=pdf

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/dec/08/copenhagen-climate-change

Also please find attached a video that mentions something very scary as regards the Copenhagen Treaty . . . note that I have not gone through the treaty myself but the reports I am hearing are quite scary to say the truth. The person in the video is Lord Christopher Monckton (a well known advocate against Global Warming) - off course its expected that he has his own ulterior motives.

I have not gone through the Treaty document myself yet, I would try and make time to actually go through it myself. Nevertheless, anyone who succeeds in going through it can please give us all a brief summary of what it entails so that we can compare with the reports given by others.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, below is the video of Lord Christopher Monckton and a caption of news report regarding the content of the Conpenhagen Treaty. . . :

http://www.businessinsider.com/text-leak-copenhagen-agreement-will-give-power-to-rich-nations-and-sideline-the-un-2009-12

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/dec/08/copenhagen-climate-summit-disarray-danish-text

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The most scary part is that Lord Christopher Monckton is blatant and openly revealing that the Copenhagen Treaty is all basically talking about Global Government and Control and Taxation, check the video from time = 3:55 in order to hear what I am talking about.

Sorry oh . . .

I also know of someone that lost a few millions of naira on shares also . . .

Personally I have not really been moved by shares cus i realised early that the only sensible shares that are worth having in a company are those that allow you to actually control the company and hence allow you to start earning salary within the company as either a director or chairman, while still obtaining a sizable chunk of the profit margins of the company.

At the end of the day, the dividends obtaininable from little shares of banks is quite too negligible to be used as a steady flow of income.
BusinessRe: Do Bankers Really Deserve Their Multi-million Pound Pays? by No2Atheism(m): 8:17pm On Dec 15, 2009
@topic

I would prefer to tackle the topic from the point of saying:

- No they do not deserve it . . .

- The mere fact that Banks and some Investment firms required bailout shows that it means the so called "profits" made by those Banks and Investment firms in the past were not real. It hence shows that the bonuses and inflated salaries paid to the Bankers on the basis of those profits are likewise fraudulent, cus common sense dictates that if those profits were real, then the concerned bank or investment firm would not have needed to be bailed out in the first place.

- It is an open secret that most highly educated financial gurus simply can't explain the current complicated schemes such as Derivatives that are being used to make money in the West. This is simply because its either thsoe schemes are fraudulent and hence people are scared to publicly say it (hence they call it complicated) or they are simply senseless and inplausible that most people simple cannot risk their reputations to explain it.

- One simple rule is that: IF A BUSINESS IS SO COMPLICATED THAT YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN IT, THEN THE MOST LIKELY EXPLANATION IS THAT ITS FRAUDULENT.

- So called derivatives are difficult to explain simply because I believe they are intentionally meant to be difficult to explain. . .otherwise how would bankers be able to justify using them to make immoral money.

- Bankers do not actually provide physical goods and services, instead they make money through either:

1. Lending.
2. Keeping other people's money and then charging fees for keeping other people's money
3. Investment in other people that produce physical goods and services.
4. Mafia protection money aka Insurance.
5. Price fixing and manipulation in commodities.
6. Cooking the books. . .
7. Basically creating money out of thing air. . .

Unfortunately, the profit margins for doing the above things is not actually high unless you start becoming heartless and start cutting moral and legal corners. . . e.g. Insider trading, Spurious fees and bank charges, Cut throat interest rates . . . all in all, the richest bankers are usually the ones with the least conscience, cus making money in banking is inversely proportional to how large your consience really is.

- This is because the most legitimate way of making money is either if you sell a physical good or you sell a physical service. . .

- A significant number of bankers are just merely shifting money around . . .and committing immoral but legalised money tricks (that would have been considered to be financial crimes a few centuries ago). . . that do not really result in sale of either physical goods and services.

- Bankers are known to engage in artificial price fixing of goods and services hence increase their profit margin, by fixing the market.

- Most bankers are young cus the reality is that its difficult for a matured and moral person (with a conscience) to remain a banker cus sooner or later they are faced with two options i.e. they either resign to safe their conscience or continue and then become sadists as a result of years of legal but fraudulent transactions (The reason why I find it difficult to reconcile the idea of a christian wealthy Nigerian banker - "Christian" + "Wealthy" Banker simply do not mix).

- The very foundation of banking itself is based on deception i.e. using other people's money to make money while transfering most of the risk to the owner of the money and merely sharing the profit amongst themselves. . . e.g. Wall Street continues to get bonuses while main stream America continues finance the bail out.

- It takes a significant lack of conscience for someone to actually succeed as a Professional Banker . . . the fact is that you simply cannot hope to be a successful banker or investment specialist while still having a conscience. . . it simply cannot happen. Common sense shows that unless you can actually produce a unique commodity or service that people physical buy, its difficult to be rich (without doing something fraudulent), hence it raises the question as to how bankers get paid for doing nothing other than create profits out of thin air.

- Lending and Insurance are one of the most non-violent but heartless areas of financial industry, where bankers (single name that I am using for invesment bankers, normal bankers, insurers and all of them put together) simply make money by picking on the legal and financial naivety of their clients.

- Personally, I would never pay any form of insurance if I can legally get away with it . . . simply because the very nature of insurance itself is fraudulent. If you can give someone money to insure your business and property, why not pay yourself with to insure it yourself so that when you need the money you can actually retrieve the money. Insurance companies are just like a legalised mafia that is forcing people to pay for protection that is (in most cases) never provided when the actual problem actually occurs. The US health industry is one example.

- Africans are smart, hence the reason why insurance business is not really profitable in Africa, cus Africans know that its silly for someone to be paying someone to insure a property for something that occurs by chance despite that there is no guarantee that the person being paid would actually even provide the insurance pay-out when you actually need it.

- Investments in shares and use of insider knowledge to make profits from inflated price selling of useless shares (very rampant in Nigeria).

- I am likewise grateful that my kind of mind simply can't allow me to work in a bank . . . or any financial institution for that matter cus the truth is that I simply cannot explain how they make money. . . without having to do fraudulent things that my conscience as a person simply cannot permit.

- Its unfortunate that some people's careers have been cut short by all of these, I would not be suprised that marketers and those who did not meet the ridiculous targets are going to be the bulk of the people that get the sack. So in essence I do not really think the sack might end up being justified cus at the end of the day, those who are corrupt enough to succeed in obtaining the ridiculous targets might actually scale through the downsizing meaning that whether we like it or not, the bulk of the people that remain might actually be the bad eggs amongst the work force.

The planet in red.
Edit:

The Planet in Red looks like a Red Dwarf and as far as my understanding of Astronomy goes , a red dwarf is a star and not really a planet (which might explain the wings of flame on it). The wings of flame can also be explained by the incidence of the solar wind from the Sun (which is bigger) and hence which would probably make the "thingy" coming from the Red Dwarf to bend backwards like it occurs in a comet approaching the sun (hence making the Red Dwarf look like it has a tail or wings in this case)

So how exactly does that translate to the so called Annunakis . . . .

Or are we now trying to say that: living beings are living on a Red Dwarf type star . . .  shocked shocked shocked

----------------------------------------------------------------------

All this statements are based on the assumption that there is even anything like the Red Dwarf or Niburu in the first place. . . hence until there is actual astronomical data showing the existence of Niburu I must say that I remain sceptical . . .

He has never failed to do this in any match he has played but 99% of the time, his teammates don't even patch on his wavelength.

[flash=425,400]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XygEhLJXWno&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"[/flash]
@sauron

Notice that you just proved my point exactly when you said the following:

- ManUtd did not use a striker but used Giggs and Nani (who are attackers) in a particular match.

- Deep lying striker is technically another way of saying Attacking Midfielder ala Zizzou, Totti and Berbatov and Kanu.

This is exactly what I have been trying to explain to my peoples on this forum since like big bang . . . grin grin grin

- In my own frame of reference and definition of terms, a striker is a goal getter ala Inzaghi, Eduardo (they live to score goals and nothing more really)

- Based on my frame of reference, Berbatov is not striker, instead he is an attacking midfielder who has been fortunate enough to score a lot of goals in his career.

The reason for my statement is that when you study Berbatov's game you notice that his natural game is actually in playmaking and creating chances . . .even under pressure. That is why i think Fergie made a mistake in buying him as a striker. . . he is better of in the hole behind the strikers . . . ala Kanu's style.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't believe that even I and Sauron would be able to see things very clearly . . .  angry angry angry

- personally I would not hesitate to buy Berbatov not as a striker but as a supporting striker i.e. attacking midfielder in the mould of Zidane.

- Sauron you would agree that Berbatov's playing style fits perfectly with that of Arsenal cus his natural attributes is to caress the ball rather than do gra gra with the ball.

- Rooney and Tevez are similar in that they play gra gra football. The only difference is that Rooney is more skillful and talented than Tevez

- You got it correctly when you said ManUTd players are not connecting with Berbatov on his wavelength. . . that is why Ronaldo suited the playing style of United because Ronaldo is also into gra gra football. While Berbatov is a player in the mould of Zizzou i.e. mellow brainy silky kind of football.

- Ferguson would do better to change Berbatov's position in the team by playing him as a supporting striker (which I am terming an attacking midfielder) while going out to buy another out and out striker instead.

- It was a mistake for Berbatov to go to ManUtd cus the truth is that the he does not have the speed and gra-gra-ism to fit into the playing style of United.

@No2Atheism
I have to say even your comparison with Berba and Zizou is flawed! They play on different parts of the fields that require different skill sets. Berba was brought in not just for link up play but also for goals at least his previous records show he can score his inability to do that is why everyone is on his back i mean even a landmine amputee like Owen has managed more goals with his limited playing time. If this doesn't explain how badly Berba-slug has failed nothing will. An attacker and a striker are the same its just that modern football these days require footballers to be able to do a bit of everything
- That is part of what I am saying . . . in that they Berbatov is not really bad . . .its just that he is playing in the wrong position that is not natural to him.

- His natural position (despite his good goal scoring record) is as an attacking midfielder i.e. the same position like Zizzou that allows him to be able to roam about.

- Berbatov is not poacher.

Some people are just spewing rubbish here . . . stop confusing yourselves

An attacker could be anyone apart from the GK and the CB . . . anyone else could be an attacker

Attacking Full Backs e.g Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Evra, Ashley Cole etc.

Attacking Midfielders - Zidane, Lampard, Riquelme, Okocha etc.

A playmaker doesn't necessarily have to be an attacker - Senna is a PLAYMAKER but plays as a defensive midfielder.
I initially started using the general terms of attackers before I was forced to start a thorough reclassification of the genome  . . .

Updated Definition of Terms:

- Playmaker is a subset of Attackers.
- Strikers is a subset of Attackers.
- Poacher is a subset of Strikers.
- Attacking Midfielders is a overlapping subset of Attackers and Midfielders
- Attacking Fullbacks is a overlapping subset of Attackers and Fullbacks.

Zizzou is an Attacking Midfielder to be precise . . .  grin

Generally and classically speaking . . .others apart from Defenders and Goal keepers are considered to be Attackers . . . grin

Senna is an Attacking Defensive Midfielder . . . just like Viera to be precise . . .  grin

Althought Berbatov is an attacker nevertheless he is not a striker. . .i.e. Berbatov is a member of the set of Attackers but not a member of the subset Strikers.
