Why not just let banks interested offer Islamic banking if they chose? My fear is that this CBN governor will 'decree' that there shall be Islamic banking everywhere in Nigeria.
Now u are seeing the trojan horse being revealed gradually . . . .

I have said and i would repeat, islamic banking is just another step towards islamising nigeria. Islam is based on the claiming and domination of territories whether physical or virtual.

It would take bloodshed to uproot it from anywhere. Hence Nigerians need to make a choice of whether they want the bloodshed now (refusing to allow the nonsense to take root) or they want it later.

Soon there would be a law as regards another islamic purpose . . . . If there is no ulterior motive, there would not be need to involve federal government in it. FG is being involved because something illegal is about to be done and forced on other people via the use of the power of the gun . . .

I think we need to import Darth Vader to referee any match between Arsenal and ManUSA cus it seems all the other refs are in their pocket. It still amazes me how a player with 20 fouls failed to collect even a single card.

If fletcher killed someone, and buried the person right there on the field, he still would not have been booked.
i meant he is egyptian with arab origins, and like i said it is my theory
Am sorry but history has far reaching consequences beyond the present generations, hence issues of having a personal theory are more dangerous than beneficial, most especially if that theory is not completely accurate.

Yes i agree Oduduwa might be an Egyptian.
Yes i agree Oduduwa might even be a Black Arab (actually there are black arabs still living in this day and age, contrary to general perception that all arabs are white).

However i find it to be completely contradictory in your statement when you claim he is an egyptian with arab origins. See what i am saying. This means i was actually write to correct you the first time, cus it seems your initial statement might not be a mistake afterall. Instead it might actually be intentional.

1. An Hamite cannot be an Arab
2. An Egyptian is an Hamite.
3. An Egyptian cannot be an Arab

You are saying he is an egyptian at the same time you are also saying he is an Arab. Does this not sound contradictory  undecided.

Please abeg choose one, or moreover I am beginning to wonder whether this by any chance has anything to do with islamic connotations.

An Arab is a Semite.
An Egyptian is an Hamite.

It is logically contradictory for you to claim he was an Egyptian and then claim he is an Arab.

People of the Sudan are not Arabs.
Ancient Sudan is the same thing as Ancient Nubia, hence it is completely false to even assume that native nubians or native sudanese people are arabs.
Ethiopians are not Arabs.
Cushites are not Arabs.
Ancient Somalia is not Arab (it was considered part of ancient Ethiopia before Arab invasion).

Some of the present day people in Sudan might be Arab, yes i understand but that has nothing to with Ancient Sudan. It has to do with colonialism of Nubians by Arabs and thus after the typical raping, castration, intermarriage and cultural genocide, that we all know Arabs are capable of. It should not suprise you that Arabs are now trying to claim Sudan as part of their land. Hence the reason why Black Africans are figthing Arabs in Sudan till the present day (and the reason why its painful to see ignorant black muslims actually support the Arabs in perpetrating the genocide going on in Sudan).

Ancient Egyptians are black, they were never white, they were never Arabs. Colonialisation of Egypt by Arabs and the subsequent fleeing of Black Descendants of the real Egyptians by Arabs is part of the reason why you now see that some Egyptians today are Arabs.

Please lets understand history and put it into proper perspective.

--------------------------------

I am really worried that islam has caused so many black africans to lose their identity and thus tend to try to falsely find a way to link themselves back to Mecca a.k.a. Islam.

Native Black Africans have nothing to do with Arabs.
Native Black Africans are descendants of Ham (both the light skinned ones i.e. Ethiopians/some North Africans up to the very dark Skinned ones Nubians)

It really pisses me off wen i see people still falling for the same brainwashing techniques over and over again, from both the Europeans and the Arabians,
Business › Re: Sanusi Canvasses Islamic Banking by No2Atheism(m): 4:19pm On Aug 31, 2009
naijaking1:
Optional Islamic banking?

You know that's never going to work as intended in Nigeria. Even if it's 0% interest, it should be optional to the letters. Remember the last time someone promised the masses free/cheap telephone services, we ended up with NITEL, somebody promised us steady steady and cheap electricity supply, you know what we got. Don't forget that free/cheap pilgrimage to Mecca---- you know what happened to Nigerian Airways.

Private individuals whose heart burn with Islamic favor should be allowed to offer Islamic banking or whatever you call it, but the fear is that with time Islamic zealots in government will make it mandatory for everybody.
Now you are starting to understand how islam operates.

You are starting to stumble unto the territory of Al-Taqiya (i.e. sanctioned deception so long as it is for the long or short term benefit of islam).

Something it seems people are ignorant about is that:

1. Once you start something in the name of islam, forget it, only complete bloodshed and war can be used to stop it, cause muslims would never ever ever allow you to stop it. (once an islamic idea starts forget it, its like cancer it would spread into territories and issues you never imagined).

2. Nigerians turned a blind eye to Sharia in the north (which is illegal by the way considering that Nigerians are supposed to have freedom of faith anywhere), now sharia in the north gave birth to things like Boko Haram and others.

3. Islamic banking is just a small step in the long road to islamise nigeria (they are simply slowly chipping at the core of nigeria gradually clawing away at the essence of a free society). Once upon a time, a muslim considers himself lucky to be in the UK, now they are openly saying that want to turn UK into an islamic country  shocked shocked shocked.
If it is not nipped in the bud, the same thing would happen to nigeria.

For example, how come a secular state like nigeria is a member of OIC,

- Yes interest free loans are good, nevertheless its better to do it within the framework of the existing laws rather than sell it as an islamic nonsense.
- Why is it being sold as an islamic nonsense if not that there is an ulterior motive.
- Nobody is stopping anyone from setting up an islamic bank. It does not need to be sanctioned by government.
- I personally support people being able to obtain interest free loans whereby you know u have a fixed cost to pay upfront, however what i do not support is for such an idea to wrap in islamic nonsense and then pass as law using an islamic encapsulation of different trojan horses

Even Buhari and Sanusi do not hide the fact that their goal is to islamise nigeria by force.

To make matters worse, even the yoruba muslims cannot be trusted to do the right thing as far as islam is concerned (going by the utterances of those on nairaland and also going by historical precedences), hence as far as i am concerned i would personally torpedo any islamic banking nonsense.

angry angry angry Islamic banking koo, islamic mending niii shior  grin grin grin grin

Unfortunately, what muslims are trying to do is to smuggle it in through the central federal government so that once it becomes part of the so called national law, then it becomes almost next to impossible to remove it without having to recourse to war. The thing is that if something is right and moral and true, there is no need to force it on people.

Muslims (most especially northern muslims) have been openly saying that there goal is to islamise nigeria whether by force or crook
, yet i am seeing people here talking bullshit about the merits and demerits of islamic banking.

The basic framework of an interest free banking can be excuted within the already available laws, anyone can set up an interest free bank, it does not take government to sanction it national, if not that there is an ulterior motive.

The earlier people wake up the better . . .

At the end of the day:

- The Five Banks are private properties, CBN has no right under heaven to sell private properties nor to turn them into islamic banks (anyone that says otherwise is just an Osama in hibernation)

Politics › Re: US Warns Nigeria Over Nuclear Technology And Iran by No2Atheism(m): 12:43pm On Aug 31, 2009
dnex:
That Administration in the USA must be crazy to warn or advice us on anything nuclear related.

We all signed the Non Proliferation Treaty and in that document, it says that countries like Nigeria who didn't have nuclear technology should refrain from Nuclear Technology and in return, the countries that already had Nuclear weapons and had advanced deep into nuclear technology will provide the Non-Nuclear nations with all civilian nuclear technology they require including medical and power generation, and also, the nuclear countries will go ahead to start cutting back on their nuclear weapons immediately the NPT was signed so that in the nearest future, all would have no nuclear weapons.

It's been decades since we signed that agreement and though Nigeria and several other nations have kept their own part of the bargain, stay off Nuclear Weapons, but so long as we have waited, none of these countries like USA, Russia, France or the UK have come forward to build us our FREE nuclear power plants. None of them have cut back on their nuclear arsenal, instead we hear of newer more destructive weapons.

So you want to blame India, Pakistan, South Africa, Israel or Iran that went to do things for themselves?

Stay there and keep waiting. I'm sure most of you do not know the benefits associated with signing the NPT if not you will now realise that we are not the ones defaulting. It is actually those on the United Nations Security Council that have refused to live by the document they created.

Well, if the USA is so concerned about Nuclear Weapons, then they should fulfil their obligations as enshrined in the NPT which they basically wrote. Build nuclear power plants in Nigeria, Iran, North Korea, Columbia, Sierra Leone, Jamaica, Cuba, or just SHUT THE HELL UP!!!
I don't want nuclear energy and do not support it.

Nevertheless

Europeans or Whites in general do not actually sign treaties in order to keep them. Only a naive person would think they sign treaties because they want to keep them. Mutual assurance of destruction is the only thing they fear and understand hence why they are bothered about Iran and China and Russia.

As far as the west is concerned, they would invade and pillage your country treaty or no treaty, so as far as i am concerned let them just shut up.

They signed many treaties with the Native Americans, yet that did not stop them from almost wiping them out. Imagine a pig in pentagon, already treathening nigeria for something thats within our rights to do,  grin grin grin

Personally the earlier China kicks American's ass the better, they are starting to be too pompous for their own good.  grin grin grin grin

Also, you quoted that Cush begat Nimrod. Well, I don't know if Nimrod is the same person as Lamarudu but I know Lamurudu was a Cushite from Axum and knowing that the Cushites descended from Ham, I am led to believe that we are speaking of same person, hunter, farmer, fisherman, or whatever he is.
@negro nts

But if Lamurudu is a cushite from Ethiopia, then it means he cannot be an Arab. This is because Arabs are supposed to be descendants of Shem and not Ham.

Can you please clarify this or alternatively when you say Arab do u mean Arab by blood or Arab by just language.

If the story of Lamurudu coming from the region of Cush is true, then that would explain why Yorubas and Binis seem to be quite developed compared to the other ethnic groups of their ancient times. It was like the Bini and Yorubas had a developmental advantage of some sorts over others hence why it was probably easier for them to dominate others during those times.
this is my theory about Oduduwa and the yoruba history. the claims that Oduduwa has roots in mecca can be true at the same time he probably came down from egypt. there is a tribe in egypt that has great similarities with the yoruba language, so my theory is Oduduwa's family was among the arabs that invaded the original egyptians and they got mixed with this egyptian tribe and later in life He and probably a few other warriors headed west and came to west of nigeria where there was an unknown local tribe and he probably conquered their villages and became their king. he spoke the egyptian language and learned the local language too but being king, his version of the original language integrated with the local dialects he met became the yoruba language and the beginning of a new ppl. as for the sky diving part, that is plain arrant nonsense
- Ancient Egyptians are not Arabs

- Present day egyptians are mostly arabs because most the original egyptians were colonised by the arabs and their other jihadists. History shows that Arabs tend to kill and maim those that they colonised hence i am not suprised that population of the original egyptians has reduced drastically while that of the Arabs increased.

- It does not make sense for Oduduwa to be an Arab since there would be no need for him to fled Egypt.

- The logical thing is that Oduduwa's family came from the original inhabitants of either Egypt or Kush. And that they fled from the attacks of the Arab invaders, such that they ended up amongst the original aboriginal yoruba people.

- They people of Oduduwa and original aboriginal yoruba people then mixed and became the people now known as Yoruba.

--------------------------------

I have always said that both the Arabs and Europeans are simply brainwashing the Africans because for some reason it seems the Arabs and Europeans know something about the African Identity, that even the Africans themselves do not seem to know.
