Once they are sure that they were crossed by a cock , the eggs are good for hatching but if they were not crossed by cock that they are just laying the eggs kindly enjoy your cos they will not hatch since they are not fertilized

Good day people.
I would like to add value to broiler rearing by venturing into the chicken processing value chain. This desire stemmed from the fact the my live bird offtakers (chicken processors) buy on credit and 100% of the time, they don't pay within the stipulated timeframe. Even worse, they transfer their liabilities and losses to you and as a result, you may not get anything from these agents of satan.

I have suspended poultry temporarily becuase of this and I have made up my mind never to sell on credit to these chronic debtors called processors/ offtakers especially those ones around obafemi owode area in ogun state and one GibsonX farms in Ibadan.

"Necessity is the mother of invention". Hence, I have plans to have a mini slaughter facility in a city. My co-farmers in the struggle, help me with ideas. I am still fairly new to poultry but I'm learning very fast.

From experience, starting a new value chain comes with new problems, issues and nuances. Please I would like to understand the challenges with chicken processing, cold room storage and blast freezing. I heard cold rooms have problems with 3 phase power supply. Should I go for freezers rather than cold room for a start? Also, can I use an ice block machine in lieu of the standard blast freezer for a start? Blast freezers and cold rooms are very expensive. I'm looking for a retrofit solution that I can deploy for a start. But I don't mind getting a standard blast freezer and cold room if requires that. I just want to start small and minimize my risk exposure as we all know that the poultry industry is no longer what it used to be.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S: I have a 5000 capacity poultry pen already.

First of all make a market research of where to sell the processed chicken , cos its not about processing but sales

Secondly as u are starting new u don't need to tie down capital building a cold room just buy deep freezer and progress from there .

Thirdly forget about ice making machines just go for good deep freezers except you already have the ice block making machines then u can manage it pending when u bal.

Hmmmm do u know that if only 10 people vote in Anambra Election that day the political party will be declared winner having scored the highest lawful vote casted that day , do u know what it means many be the person u don't want becomes the governor for another 4yrs and do you that if its possible that no single soul voted which is not possible cos the current governor with his convoy must vote but let's assume its not possible to vote a military administrator will be appointed to govern the state because the constitution did not give room for vacancy in government and the current governor must live at the end of his tenure
Now what this means is that it will be good to chose our battle tactically to avoid giving the enemy a huge opportunity to prevail

MISTAKES IN DRUG ADMINISTRATION NULLIFY DRUG PURPOSE

Many Livestock farmers wonder why they do not get positive results inspite of intense efforts put into their livestock business.

Today,we will be looking at the few tips on drug administration that is tantamount to nullity;

�Do not administer Iodine based drugs in drinking water used for Vaccine administration

�Do not mix Sulpha based drugs with Vitamins

�Do not mix Amprolium with Multivitamins especially the B1, B2, B6 and B12 Vitamins

�Do not mix drugs like Enrofloxacin or Ciprofloxacin together with Vitamins

�Do not combine Gentamicin with Penicillin or Amoxicillin or Ampicillin

�Do not mix Calcium with Oxytetracycline

�Do not combine Gentamicin or Neomycin based drugs with Enrofloxacin

�Spurious drug combination: most times Livestock farmers combine multiple antibiotics in a bid to get instant or potentiated relieve.
The result of such decision is usually unproductive due to unfavourable drug interactions

�The use of Sodium hypochlorite as water sanitizer reduces the effect of Enrofloxacin on bacteria activity

Dear farmer, let not blame the government of the day for unabated falls in our economy, I think the major cause is a untorchable monster nurtured by governance system, I MEAN CORRUPTION.

Sorry this may not be true in this case , the rise is triggered by our exchange rate all chemicals are manufactured in China and then supplied to us here so once dollar goes up automatically the prices go up and its unfortunate that the farmer will be struggling to buy these farm inputs and struggle to sell as the purchasing power is going low

The pipe that lead to the chamber is always dry, the WC only hold small amount of water

If that pipe is not broken the only inlet is through the septic tank , and the septic tank contains sewage with very very hot pressure so could it be it entered from the house , all these are always confusing when looking at the course

I have seen pics but I find it hard to believe it's possible here in Nigeria cos our toilet system have a narrow discharge and then the heat from the septic tank is more than a boiling water and again his can snake breath inside a septic tank without oxygen and even swim long without coming up for oxygen , these are mysteries

I want to call the attention of the government to save us from the embarrassing calls and messages of loan companies.

They always claim the debtor dropped your contact with them which is NOT true but rather they send messages or call all numbers on the contact list of the debtor. I have never taken a loan in my life neither do I care to do so.

I got a message today from a company called CREDIT9JA that somebody took a loan from them, that he dropped my number as an emergency number for them to call. Why dragging innocent people into a deal or transaction they know nothing about?

The most annoying part is that u might end up not knowing the person; reason is because people can get people's contact without their consent.

This is the 3rd time i will encounter this. The first was abt a schoolmate of mine during my undergraduate days, the second was a fellow Corp member during my service in the core North and now is a stranger who have my number. Yet these people suddenly claimed he is my relative. It's so annoying! I called back and gave them a stern warning. See the reply I got.

But 40 bags at 1520 means that a bag then costs #38 if it where 380 naira now it would have been 100% inflation but at 3800-4000 now , it seems we are heading to 10000% inflation rate

This is not a cocoa beans its fungi infection usually appear one in many plantation just neglect it but if its many then go to any agro shop and buy fungicide like maxi gold or so many others and spray the farm

Way to do crowd funding just becareful using celebrates as brans ambassadors and when they can't pay back returns the celebs will claim ignorant of the companies incapacity to fulfil promises , everyone should just shine him/her eyes
