The woman wasnt German she was English. Two if you make superficial choices and pick women who only choose you for your skin colour you can easily be replaced Black people in general look up to whites too much. So much so that in the UK and US, black men message white women more than black women on dating sites. Is that not a sign of sickness, that you love other types of women more than your own |

opribo: Youthfulness, Yes, but when we talk of youthfulness we must look for one who is not rebelious. Do you realise as a president one single wrong comment can set the nation on fire. Such is the calibre of Sowore. For me someone like prof Moghalu has all the ingredients to deliver this nation but he doesn't have the political Will to confront the various cabals in the military both serving and retired. That is why i am routing for Atiku. He is poised to make Nigeria great again. I hope he can incorporate that prof into his government. Meanwhile, the satanic APC party is hell bent on rigging their way back into our Aso rock. I asked you what Atiku or Buhari had to offer and you laid into Sowore again Plus you an unsubstantiated statement about Atiku making Nigeria great again. How? He is mired in corruption and has shown tribalistic tendencies just like Buhari. Sorry you are proving exactly why I say Nigerians are their own worst enemies.. As for single comments setting the world on fire, Nigeria has managed to hold despite Buhari's many incendiary statements with regards to the 'fulani herdsmen' menace or callous statements about Igbos and the South east. I havent heard Sowere make any such statements. Plus the fact that he is even in the North trying to muster support and reach out to Northerners speaks volumes for man who sees beyond Tribal lines.. opribo: I have watched many of his videos before I came to the conclusion that he is just set to attack any opponent with his toxic comments. He looks pained as if Nigeria has done something wrong to him.
The other time I watched him in some t.v. discussion with prof Kingsley Moghalu while the prof reeled out detailed actionable plan of his vision for Nigeria your Sowore agreed that the the prof's vision are in tandem with whatever manifesto he has which he could not read out.
Instead as usual he attacked the prof for saying that the minimum wage issue needs to be researched thoroughly before one can give a categorical answer as to what it should be.
This Sowore man meanwhile was playing to the gallery that it would be 100 thousand. That sounds childish and baseless. It is empty and unfounded promises like this that has landed us where we are. Intelligent and experienced people know it that running a government involves several decision making bodies.
If it were that easy for Bubu he would have bypassed the Senate and do as he likes just as he did as a military dictator.
Someone needs to school that man on how to be president. Attack the issues not persons. On the issue of a minimum wage, many nations have a minimum wage without any issues.. Also I would still back Sowere, as he genuinely wants to explore new ideas rather than stick with the status quo. I like the fact his ideas seem implausible given the current political machine. That reflects his youth and the fact that he doesnt come from the tired old brigade. We need that youthful thinking and even a bit of naivety to do something new. By contrast what will Buhari or Atiku offer us except for more of the same? So far whenever I have asked this question not one Buhari or Atiku supporter has been able to tell me... |

They have never managed big corporations talkless of a nation People like him want to use our country as experimental lab, no we don't want any more neophyte. We need experienced leaders who speak with facts and understand the issues not rabble rousers. In the first place from where did he come out from, no pedigree just out of the blues and he wants to be president of a whole Nigeria. He should go and gather experience first. He is a joker. Have you missed other speeches where he gave clear ideas on preparing the economy for the future? He spoke of automation and the knowledge economy. He was the first Nigerian politician who had anything approaching sensible economic policies. Then a dumb Nigerian like you will call him a joker.. I have no doubt these days paid APC and PDP posters work this forum. But if you arent paid and you are posting this, without watching videos from Sowere, then god help Nigeria.. |

TayserMahiri: The issue is in how you export them. Nigerian migration is tantamount to manslaughter. None of the countries you mention ever had their citizens so notoriously desperate like your migrants. Wherever they go they go illegally and cheating death is a major component of their escape. Your migrants are similar to migrants from the most impoverished parts of the world like Eritrea, Chad, Yemen and Syria which explains a lot about what we know is your problem. So nuhhh. You are trying to force your situation, which is dire btw, to match that of more dignified citizens from saner parts of the world. We already established from data provided from one of your fellow Kenyans that a greater percentage of your population is leaving your nation than Nigerians leaving Naija.. |

Btw,the LPI is composed strictly by logistics pros in the relevant countries to avoid 'cooking.' I also know we should've moved at least 2 or 3 places up since we operationalised the SGR last year. I concede though you beat us in terms of postal services. I am struggling with you here You provide a source countryeconomy.com that largely supports the macroeconomic indicators I have given you previously? Lets begin Annual GDP from your data by the way Nigeria 2016 405,442M.$ Kenya 2016 70,527M.$ LOL GDP per Capita (a point of contention amongst you Kenyans) Nigeria 2016 2,180$ Kenya 2016 1,455$ Oh dear!! Debt & Debt %of GDP Nigeria 2016 79,542 19.61% Kenya 2016 37,717 53.47% So although the overall amount of debt is lower against your GDP figures you guys are in a worse macroeconomic position than we are!! Deficit & Deficit %ofGDP Nigeria 2016 -15,942 -3.93% Kenya 2016 -5,862 -8.31% Same story again you are running a larger deficit, so much for your greater economic prudence?? On public spending we spend more on defence and you more on Education and Healthcare. But we Nigerians know about the latter and Bill Gates raised the amount of spending on healthcare with Buhari directly. Based on the economic indicators above we have more scope to ratchet up public spending than you Kenyans have. Despite you spending more on Education for example, you have less successful entrepreneurs and companies. Seriously did you even read through this data before you posted Even on trade balance a hot topic at the moment Nigeria 1,900.0 M.$ Kenya -10,939.4 M.$ Even despite all the Kenyan bluster about Nigerians drowning in the med on Emigrant data Nigeria 2017 0.67% Kenya 2017 1.03% Seems like a greater proportion of your countrymen are leaving the supposed Nirvana that is Kenya Remittances Nigeria 20,112.1 M$ Kenya 1,739.2 M$ You sir are a slowpoke. Also lets bear in mind we are a much larger nation, which are typically harder to organise than smaller ones. Based on this principle your economic indicators should be much better than ours and they arent. Compare Switzerland or Leichenstein with Italy or even the UK. Based on most economic measures you would rather live in the former than the latter. Seriously you Kenyans are clowns... arguing about data amusing Destroying a Kenyan with his own data Priceless!! |

The Chinese used to arrive aboard good containers in US shores out of the same desperation sending Nigerians scampering all over the world including Kenya. Poor Nigeria are still arriving in leaky boats or body bags in Europe.
Having a large diaspora consisting purely of ECONOMIC REFUGEES - when you're not in war like Syria or Somalis or some religious or political persecution - is indication that Nigerian economic long COLLAPSED.
Just learn to face the truth. Trying to find refuge in history or romanticize economic refugees like you won't help you.

rvp2018: WB/IMF/CIA/ name them - DO NOT produce national accounts - that is done for Nigeria by your crooked Stat Office Yemi Kale . For a long time Nigeria had not re-based - but WB/IMF could not just manufacture figures for Nigeria. When Nigeria finally re-based they took in the new figures. What IMF/WB massage is really the USD/PPP - but OFFICIAL NATIONAL ACCOUNTS - are accepted as given.
Many MNCS have rushed to invest in Nigeria after buying the cooked Yemi Kale stew but have 1-2yrs lost their shirts - Nigeria style. The latest is VW - who sold about 30 units of VW in NIGERIA the whole of 2017 in a country of 200M with supposedly 500B dollar economy.
Now you're all over. Nigeria are right now dying cross Mediterranean - they are all over the world - because their economy long collapsed. That is not sign of success but failure. Nearly all failed states have huge diaspora. In kenya during the 90s at height of Moi dictatorship - Kenyans move to abroad & certainly were more successfully than Nigerians despite their numbers. We fixed our country and the queues at US embassay long died.
Regarding TECH - Nairobi(Kenya) lead with South Africa - Nigeria only this year "caught" up thanks to 40m dollars for Andela - in other years it either been South Africa or Kenya leading in tech funding. We shall see if Nigeria will repeat it this year - or we are back to the default the last 10yrs - Kenya & South Africa. Weak.. All countries with large populations export a significant proportion of their population. Please look at the size of Indian and Chinese Diasporas. Would you similarly conclude their economies are near collapse?? In fact Nigeria has a large population reflects the fact that it has been relatively developed for quite sometime. Its the reason why China and Indian also have large populations. Bar Asia and sections of Meso-America, Nigerian regions were unique in Africa for having population densities far in advance of some regions of Europe. For example Yoruba's lived at greater population densities than Slavic groups in Eastern Europe well into the early 20th Century!!! Also the arguments you are providing are astonishingly pathetic.. Please provide evidence that Nigerian figures are cooked and cite an article from a publicly respected western institution that draws the same conclusion? Nigerians are savvy, you cannot just go there and expect to pull the wool over their eyes as with other African groups. I recall my uncle telling off a Congolese minister for signing a mining deal with the Chinese, where they invested 10 billion upfront but then received sole mining rights to a mine with up to 80 billion USD of deposits. My uncle made his point very politely, but the Congolese minster either didn't understand or didn't want to.. Our Savviness is the reason why few if any of our rich list positions go to foreigners, we have the intellect and capability to hold our own.. As it stands Kenyans have not shown in any meaningful way the same capacity or prowess.. Beyond questioning Nigerian figures, you havent been able to cite any comparable figures of your own, which speaks volumes. Beyond that your native rich list entrants are from well known corrupt political dynasties.. Moi's and Kenyattas. Give me a break |

If you acknowledge that you'll be humble enough to learn to start at the bottom. Only then will you get somewhere-until then continue spinning your wheels. We'll be here with the evidence. On British Nigerians According to the Institute for Public Policy Research, Nigerian pupils are among best performing student groups in the United Kingdom. Taking data for only England, a 2013 IPPR survey reported that the proportion of British Nigerian pupils gaining 5 A*–C grades at GCSE (including Maths and English) in 2010–2011 was 21.8 percentage points higher than the England mean of 59.6 per cent. This average was calculated using student data, where available, from various local authorities in England IPPR data for England On Nigerian Americans According to the 2016 American Community Survey, 62% of Nigerian Americans age 25 and higher hold bachelor's degrees (or higher) and 29% hold graduate or professional degrees. Of 75 national origins listed, only Iranians, Russians, and Bulgarians have a higher share with graduate or professional degrees. Census data reveals that Nigerian Americans are the most educated immigrant group in the US, surpassing even East Asians United States Census Bureau https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2015-10-13/it-isn-t-just-asian-immigrants-who-excel-in-the-u-s-Nigerian immigrants are especially educated, with almost two-thirds holding college degrees -- a significantly higher percentage even than Chinese or South Korean immigrants. I would say that is makes us pretty special. What can we say about Kenyans |

NairobiWalker: Why are you using figures of 2016 when we are in 2018? Don't you know Nigeria's GDP is decreasing while Kenya's is increasing at a high rate? In 2017,
Kenya GDP per capita - 1790 Nigeria GDP per capita - 1994
I've said here several times that your GDP per capita was almost 3 times ours in 2014 now they're almost equal. In the next two years we'll definitely be ahead of you.
A good percentage of your GDP is drawn from oil which ends up in foreign pockets of mining companies - reason why despite your slight advantage over us on GDP per capital, our civil servants earn more than your civil servants. I gave CIA (PPP) per capita figures for 2018. Still the same result (Naija on top). Try again!!! |

rvp2018: We again have dealt with those issues - use the search function. I have worked with World Bank and they accept OFFICIAL figures from any government...
You're bringing the very basic things that were brought up in the first 100 pages and we debunked them completely. We have demonstrated with facts that Nigeria GDP is not only cooked - but over-cooked. Start with agriculture - shows us how your agriculture is BIGGER than Brazil.
You real GDP is not even equal to Algeria's 150B dollars.
I mean you've got 3 official exchange rates (gov one of 305 naira to dollar), Bank one (360 naira to dollar) plus black market rate for dollars (anything upto 450-500 naira for a dollar)- how do you even start the comparison. When you question World Bank figures you are on a hiding to nothing!! Please stop with your nonsense!!! Do you even realise how many wealthly Nigerians remit money back from the West to Nigeria?? You couldnt counter my arguments about cultural contributions and the successful diasporas. The fact we dominate our rich list should be an inspiration to you. We also do new things, how many Nigerian tech start-ups have received western accelerator funding, bros loads... Now you are questioning world bank statistics?? Given they are used in my Bloomberg Terminal which is one of the main tools intrinsic to GLOBAL FINANCE, I am sorry I trust them rather than your drivel about flawed figures.... This isnt even an argument from Wall Street to the City Of London, to Tech companies in Silicon Valley the work ethic and academic prowess of Nigerians vis a vis other black groups is well known. I only need to look around our London office and 8 out of 10 blacks in the office are Nigerian. We are in front, you guys arent even close.. Look to us for inspiration and do your own.
