Ohoo we have 4 big banks - so our banking is good.

When you engage your brains - you'll find what makes Kenya FAR better than Nigeria - is how average Kenya live is.
1) Average Kenyan teacher earn 3 times a Nigerian teacher.
2) Average Kenyan Police or Army earn 3 times a Nigerian.
3) Average Nigerian min salary is 50 dollars...kenya 120 dollars.
4) Average lifespan for a kenya is nearly 20yrs more than a Nigeria.
5) Average kenyan infrastructure (roads, rails, power, etc) are way better than Nigeria
6) Average kenyan towns are more liveable than any in Nigeria.
7) Average Kenyan speak better English than pidgkin speaking Nigerians.
Average Kenyan enjoy better banking experience -
9) Average kenyan enjoy better services than Nigeria.

You can go on and on - but this thread had demonstrated Nigeria is one huge zoo that depends entirely on Oil - while kenya is thriving democracy that will soon rival South Africa

So how on earth can you justify your statements about particular sets of workers being paid 3 times more in Kenya? Based on the crude measure of per capita numbers it is more likely that Nigerian professionals would earn more than their Kenyan equivalents. Heck Lagos alone is one of the largest economies in Africa..

Their largest company Safaricom was Started by a foreigner, Mpesa which is the best thing to come out of Kenya was started by foreigners, their car assemblies all started by foreigners, their largest ICT firm was started by a Nigerian and a Kenyan, they can't point to a major town built by black Kenyans, even their Swahili was formed by Arabs. What cultural mark have Kenyans left on the world? We have Nobel Laureates.. Heck bar the Massai, you guys don't even have a native national attire. We have the beautiful flowing Agbada in both the north and south..

Light Rail red and blue lines still not operational

4th mainland bridge, construction has not started

Roads, even on Lagos Island there are many roads that are in a poor and dilapidated state.

Second expressway project for the Lekki axis, this road was meant to reduce congestion along the main Lekki Epe expressway and run along water corporation road all the way up the island, construction never started.

Of the projects successfully initiated by Fashola, the following are now in decline :

Refuse collection, the project was foolishly handed to visionscape who are simply failing to keep the streets clean.

BRT, this BRT system is also failing as the system was removed from LAMATAs control and again handed to a private company. This company merely looted the funds and drivers have not been paid and buses have no fuel..

When it comes to other regions the picture is even worse.

The Rivers state monorail a massive white elephant if I ever saw one..

The failed Centenary Hills project in Abuja the list of projects is endless..

How much is the state budget? I don't belive in politics especially the one done in Nigeria. Like Dubai and Singapore masterly had a great plan,start and took their time to build a country.
