You cannot be serious, IPOB started as a non violent movement agitating for succession.

Boko Haram, IWASP started out as violent Jihadi movement with the expressed intent of overthrowing the Nigerian government and founding an undemocratic Islamic theocratic state like the Taliban or Islamic State.

IPOB had been loosely tied to attacks by "unknown gunmen". With IPOB never claiming responsibility and directly rejecting connections with said attacks. Given the agenda of the Northern dominated government to undermine successionist movement, I am still of the opinion these are DSS or government operatives acting on behalf of the government. Or the government has merely withdrawn security services in an effort to destabilise the region and blame IPOB.

By contrast Boko Haram and IWASP, have not only destabilised whole regions, they have also destabilised neighbouring nations like Chad and Northern Cameroon. These nations have been drawn into fighting Boko Haram in particular. There is no comparison between the scale of attacks launched by Boko Haram which has resulted in the deaths of 100s of thousands and the displacement of millions.. Additionally, Buhari himself has admitted that Billions have been pumped into rebuilding infrastructure in Maidgaduri..

Please stop with the false equivalence of comparing IPOB to Boko Haram/IWASP.. They are not even close to being the same and the latter are far worse..
