whichever device you just described here is NOT the S4. S4 has no fingerprint scanner and it's body is entirely plastic, nothing like alminium or glass finish.

youre right, M8 has good speakers, good metalic build and a good processor. The deal breaker for me would be the pricing, i'd buy the cheaper one. Though i'm a 5.5-6 inch screen person so the M8's size is a turn off.

You're very true, as a brand Samsung is far ahead of Tecno. That however doesnt mean that tecno phones cant hold their own.

FM on phones is outdated. If you need one, simply use Internet radio. NFC and IR blaster are important. The importance differs from person to person.

You ask how CX beats S4 in terms of screen Size, are you stupid? S4 is 5 inches while cx is 5.5 inches.
And when it comes to internet please be aware that majority of S4 phone don't support 4G internet, the ones that do are exclusive to T.Mobile and AT&T networks in USA.
You ask about battery, s4 has 2600mah while cx has 3200mah. Also keep in mind that Android 7 has better battery optimization.

it seems you forgot you own question. You asked if tecno phones were accepted on the international market and i just proved to you that they are. The question of whether the consumers actually do buy them is entirely up to them.

You're right tecno lacks a few features like IR and NFC when compared to the s4, but these features hold no real value to the average user. People mind about battery, camera, build quality, screen size, internet speeds and these are all areas where the CX beats the S4. For goodness sake S4 doesnt even have an FM radio yet these are features we need here. I think the only advantage the s4 has is that its good for people that like small sized phones.

This issue is not a Tecno issue. All devices with android 6.0 can't save files on SD card. Except you format the card as internal storage to merge the storage space. I think the Camon CX is nice too although they could have done better.

tecno doesn't have the option to format as internal storage.

Personally i think 16GB is OK but the problem tecno did with C9 is that the memory card couldn't be used as a primary storage for downloads and app data. If that issue was corrected with cx then i dont mind the limited storage, since i have a card.

but it's a different material from what is used in the CX.
Cx has a full aluminium metal body. My friend there is a difference. I'm not saying that all metallic phones are not real metal, am just pointing out that for some phones it appears to be metal but really isn't.

1: Bar the Hi manager nothing in the Rom suggests its HIOS. All the usual HIOS apps are missing. This looks and feels like stock Android.

Am quite sure it has HiOs, I've had a chance to use one too but briefly.
The plastic-like alloys are just not the same thing as the metalic finish, compare that phone to the phantom and you will feel the difference. Or maybe get the black or blue colour variants of the L9+ and you will realise what I'm saying.

I have c9 and i noticed that ever since tecno got android 6, their phones never use the SD card as primary storage so the internal space fills up real quick... so personally i need a 32GB phone. I hope this gets a pro version with 3GB/32GB like c9 did, then i can seriously think of buying.

Allow me to correct you, that's not real metal, its just a kind of alloy that gives metallic appearance just like the L8 was. And also that is not stock android, thats HiOS v2. It's an upgrade of the first HiOs so it looks different, but u can see the Hi-manager on the front screen.

What kind of Bullshit is this? people here need to make use of google search coz there's no such thing as Nokia EDGE. Only android phones released so far are Nokia 6,5 and 3.

I also see something like CX Air. Could we also be getting a lite version, like the c7.

So Tecno mobile posted this on their facebook page earlier today, and according to this, we should expect a release date of 23rd March.

Details about the specs are still vague so if you have any new info please share with us.

It also confirms that the phone will be officially launched in Nairobi. My only surprise is that we're getting a camon before the next boom series, yet last year we got the boom j8 first.

That being said, i personally don't plan on owning one as I'll be looking forward to this year's phantom series.
