I got the chance to get an S7 with a 2gb RAM and 64gb Storage and a J7 with 1.5Gb RAM and 16gb storage so i was wondering which was a better option..because the S7 appeared to have higher config but the J7 was way more expensive so it made me wonder if they were unique features to J7 that made it better than S7

I've said it before, you know little about the tech market.
Xiaomi and Apple are competing for market share currently in China and other countries.
Once in a while do manage to check phone comparisons from trusted reviewers on YouTube and maybe your eyes would be opened to the reality. Then you'll realize your 'home based brands' with have been ripping you off.
Currently you can get an MI6 phone for 360USD and that's a phone that's competing with iPhone 7 and Galaxy s7. FYI they are also called flagship killers

its impossible for samsung or huawei to sell more phones than tecno in Africa. How many people in africa can afford phones by samsung or huawei? Even people in developed countries with high gdp get these samsumg phones on contract.
If not for tecno, infinix and others mtk phones, android would be off limit to alot of africans. This stats posted is suspect.

Give credit to whom its due. Fact: Without Tecno most of us won't have been able to afford an Android phone. Samsung smart phones are expensive and not everyone could afford it.
