siofra:Hey.... Don't mention Jordan Peterson like that. I respect some of the views of Reno but he's not anywhere near Peterson who's a clinical psychologist and professor. |
Amah70:Feudalism was originally the system of government in the North during the pre-colonial era. They were already shelving it and then the Unitary government came and ever since then, we've not had anything "Federal" in our structure again. |
PrinceMajestic:You should make your research before making conclusions. Thereby, you would not be considered dumb. |
They know what they're doing. It shouldn't surprise anyone again the direction of leadership in Nigeria. Feudalism is what we're actually practice and the Lagos incidence, the arrest of Igboho etc which undermined the authority of state governors are classical examples. What pains me is that when the duo of Obasanjo and Jonathan were there, they enjoy the monopoly that comes with the federal police so even if they could do something, they weren't serious about it. Apart from the duo, has any southerner really ruled Nigeria before? Should we still be asking who the lords, enemies, and destroyers of Nigeria are? |
Allnacruise:An opposite scenario of what is seen here will be a miracle. What do you expect from a country whom citizens have been oppresed by their elites for decades? |
naijainform:We're not talking about Buhari nau and if it's Buhari, he should have resigned a hundred times over. God forbid Nigeria should have someone 1% close to Buhari again. Does speaking against Umahi equates to being on the side of Buhari? Nigerians are people that hate being defended sha |
ItsGoodToBeGood:You can say that again but you should also note the part that says "he was reported by his colleagues". Nigerians are generally wired to respect and stand in support of their oppressors so much that you become a threat to them when you stand against oppression. It's why the likes of our current president is still in power. If you speak, fellow Nigerians like you, most probably poorer and hungrier than you can ever be, will come for your head. "How dare you insult our master?" They'd say. |
