You don't seem to understand what mental enslavement means. Mental slavery is when you believe in an ideology just because it is the latest or the trendy ideology; when you really don't know why you hold on to a certain belief system over another one; when the elitist ideologies, mind-control system and socio-political propaganda rather than first-hand experience, insight or revelation, guides what you believe to be the truth.


Stop misuing the term. You can be an atheist who is mentally enslaved, you can be a mentally enslaved believer in any of the major religions. Mental enslavement is broader than you getting back at Christianity because of that.

Policies are what build societies and not these mediocre infrastructural projects we celebrate in the East, West, North and South.

Policies that reduces unemployment and poverty rate, increases literacy rate, unemployment rate and life expectancy. That's difficult for us to think of building or institutionalising but these yeye projects can never lift poverty away from the people.

Firstly the parent..how will your child school call you to come pick up your child that he broke his leg,on getting to the school you were met with how sylvester was looking and you kept quiet? Until the child died you now came out to speak up.all through the term,did you not go to check up on the child welfare? As a prayerful parent God must have shown you that something is wrong but you ignored cos of chasing money for big fees.



Secondly the school....how can a school tell me that they didn't know that students practices cultism inside it premises.how can the school say they don't know this kids? where the hostel keepers, cleaners,teachers etc not hearing the shout and cry of that child when they tortured him?....the school needs proper investigation



And as for those erring kids whom their parents are shielding..the table will turn and they will be the next victims since they couldn't correct their kids.

People have different paths they find most suitable for their type of person.

Some would prefer figuring things out on their own, they're ready to give their all and make expensive sacrifice than been led by other people, while others would prefer being led than figuring things out, and all these exist in history.

Elon Musk, Bill Gates etc are prominent examples of self taught whose success see the light, there are others who will never make it to that level while there be those who will get there but will take longer time.

While as we know it, there would definitely be people who whose personality style is growing within a structured system, being given roles and tasks, seek validation of others (Superiors and Bosses) before they develop the confidence to take the world.

Know your type of person, have conviction of who you are and stick to it.

Your assertions are correct but you must also understand that the mindet of an inventor is far different from that of an ordinary business owner. Inventors are naturally restless people who usually lose out at the beginning of their exploits but learn through bitter lessons how to be a good business person and an inventor at the same time.

If you're not an inventor, it'd be difficult to think like one.

The part that irritates me most is funds for research, of all the researches made in the past, how many of them have those universities themselves made use of? Abi what's the essence of researches made and ending up in the school libraries? I know of someone who had his ND from Federal College of Agrculture Akure, from there, he won scholarship to a University in Costa Rica, where he got his Bachelor's degree. His final year project was amazing that it was funded and being put to use in the field of tree crops (a citrus-harvesting device), from there, another university from US wooed him to come over for his master's degree, he's in the US now. If it's here, such project will not see the light of the day or probably end up in the school library.

We don't need to make it look like the universities are the ones who messed up Nigeria. If that's true, Nigerians graduates shouldn't be respected in the world.

Firstly, how many students gets funding to carry out quakitiy research projects even at PhD level? How many of the projects carried out has ever been implemented by the government? I still remember that electric vehicles were assembled by a university in Nigeria about 10 years ago.

It's a generic, societal problem where we don't think we can solve our own problems and when our own people bring solutions, we stock them in the library and later replace them with newer ones.

Nigeria does not like development. She only likes lamentations and exportation.
