Yyeske:
Remind that person you quoted that the South Korean won is about 1,160 to a US dollar, ask him if that means the Ghanaian economy is stronger and their currency is more traded internationally than that of South Korea?

When Ghana redenominated the cedi, it was about 90 pesewas to a dollar but it has really depreciated to about 6 cedis to a dollar and he's not even ashamed about it, not even the naira depreciated like that.
my brother don"t mind him.they keep bragging with their currency as if we don't know what happened..THEY HATE BEEN CONFRONTED WITH FACTS.

well,I don't understand your annoyance of we redominating our currency. You can redominate if you like. The truth of the matter is 1 cedis is 70 naira. And even that was in 2007 which is about 15 years ago.Yes,we export products. This is the 2018 top ten African export countries and we are number 8 with 17 billion dollars exports for a country of 29 million people compared to your 52 billion dollars export with oil being 80% of it for a country of 200 million people.Yes,free SHS is free. How do we become gullible.Your politicians always take you for a ride since God knows when and you now have the largest extremely poverty population in the World.Your health system is highly unaffordable and very poor and your Human Development index is among the worst in the world upon all this, insecurity is your middle name.Listen, your recession suffering economy with population growth rate higher than economic growth rate is in crisis so know who their citizens are gullible to be lied to.Simple infrastructure such as electricity and water is a luxury for the rich buh you still parade ignorantly shouting Giant of Africa because your leaders told you that. Our currency is far far better than your naira if you care to know.
yes my annoyance with you redenominiting your currency is that you guys make it sound as if your currency just became powerful at of the blue, more like the market forces makes it so.mind you,if we re denominate our currency like you guys did 1cedis would be 70kobo,how about that? well, enough said about the currency exchange rate, lets talk about it true values, economic wise.I am sure you know about PPP in economics.thats purchasing power purity..it has to do with the cost of goods in one country vs cost of the same goods in another country. In this example i will like to use a bottle of coke drink.in Nigeria a bottle of coke is sold for 100naira,equivalent to 1.3 cedis ..In Ghana the same bottle of coke is sold for 3.5cedis..so just by buying in Nigeria will save you 2ghana cedis.this explain why many traders are making money by importing this soft drinks from Nigeria, they buy cheap in Nigeria and sell expensive here in Ghana. This is a fact no one can deny,go to chisco office at circle and confirm if you have any doubt..Now tell me who has a better currency now? The values of currencies are not in the quoted exchange rates, but what they can purchase..i am a currency trader and i know this for a fact..when you talk about extreme poverty i am realy tempted to ask if you have been to norther part of ghana,i mean places like temale.i really don't understand you,are you just being sarcastic or you actually meant it when you said we are poorer than you?you talked about infrastructure..in Shatta wela"s voice,Ghana is a village..thats a quote from your number 1 musician, and rightly so.Is it not shameful that a whole capital city can,t boost of more than 20 5story buildings?please before we continues this baseless argument kindly visit Abuja and see the infrastructural development on ground, you can quote me after..Goodbye

1 cedis is about 70 naira. It's extremely easily to get or make 1 cedis a minute in Ghana. Our VAT is 20% of any product thus things being expensive over here.Taxes makes up 20% of our revenue. Our country is a socialist society thus we enjoy free compulsory education from kindergarten to Senior high school nationwide even for boarding schools and free meals, free uniforms, free text books and exercise books and everything. We enjoy universal health insurance which covers 70% of Ghanaians in all government hospitals and majority private hospitals.Even foreigners enjoy free national health insurance and free high schools in Ghana. We have the Ghana Youth Employment Authority which employs millions of Ghanaian youths and support them in trade. We highly subsidies our universities, pay our teacher and nursing students nationwide, highly subsidize our farmers with National Planting for food and jobs and exportations, massive social interventions and massive infrastructural projects. If you make 500 cedis in Ghana which is very easy to make and send it to Nigeria,it's a lot of money.
lol.you are so funny my guy..truth be told you are a great patriotic Ghanian.less i forget,i have been in Ghana for 6 good years, which means i know Ghana better than you wrongly assumed. i would not want to sound vituperative,so i"ll counter your claims with facts..you claimed 1cedis is about 70 Naira, yes that's how it sound on paper.can you really be honest enough to let the word know how this comes about?well,if you don't know, the Bank of Ghana { BOG]re denominated cedis in 2007,meaning three zeros{000] were taken off your currencies. So in actual fact your 1cedis still remain 1000cedis,until other countries like Nigeria and co do the same to their respective currencies..if you don't understand this, kindly use Google.you claimed 500{5million cedis] is easy to make, but you didn't state how easy it is to spend also.when you talk about free education i guess you are taking about the free SHS that was initiated by this present administration of Nana Akufo-ado?STOP deceiving the public,Nigerians are not gullible like you guys, so don't try too hard to deceive us,we know better.you talked about exportation, you and i know very well that you are joking..what do you have to export?is it the banku or keke that is not sufficient for the nation? are you ignorant of the fact that 90 percent of the food/drinks you guys consume here are shipped in from Nigeria?taking about paying your nursing students,i guess you are un-aware of the fact that even the doctors went on strike recently..Charley stop lying abeg,Ghana is a complete mess.without Nigeria bank your banking sector IS nothing to write home about.in you next post i am convince beyond every reasonable doubt that you will ask why i live here, until then i reserve my reasons.

We're not a small nation. We have the second largest population in West Africa and 2nd largest economy in West Africa. We don't care what Nigeria does with its money buh currently, there are 4-5 million Nigerians in Ghana and far far more Nigerians in Ghana than any other country in the world except Nigeria of course. We arrest and prosecute any person who commits a crime without fear or favour and our media is ranked 1st Africa and 21st worldwide ahead of even UK and the USA in the World Media Freedom. We can't censor their post, they even insult the president and nothing is done to them.We can't tell them what to post. You guys feel too arrogant buh if course that's not my concern. We just want to maintain our minimum crime free and serene environment which attracted millions of Nigerians to engage their legitimate activities in the country at the first place. And about we doing without you, even the Great America is currently having serious issues with a less than 15 million population North Korea and upon all sanctions,North Korea still survives much more Nigeria who can't even put her acts together threatening to make Ghana suffer if it removes their insignificant investments from our country. We are a sovereign nation and not even America can threaten us.
well, let me state this categorically that i stopped reading your comment after i read where you claimed the second best economy in west Africa.Yes you are a Ghanaian, you have every right to elevate ur country.if i may ask..do you reside in Ghana?how they hell you called a country where ordinary fruit juice goes for more than 7 Cedis second largest in West Africa?go to Togo,Nigeria and Benin and see how much such will cost..do we have to talk about the cost of transportation in Ghana?see charley, when it comes to economy Ghana is in complete mess, don't even try to deny this obvious fact..

WebmastersRe: How To Start Making Money From Youtube - Simple Steps by Notatribalist(m): 1:25pm On Jun 05, 2019
hassan4:
This is a simple guide for prospective YouTube Channel owners or Vloggers in Nigeria. Blogging is never easy and demands time and resources. Same goes for YouTube or Vlogging so here's my one cent to help new comers start making money. Threshold or criteria for YouTubers to get monetized by Google is at-least 1000 subscribers, 4000 watch hours and original content as a lot of videos are duplicated.

Follow this guide for full tutorial: https://gtbensmagazine.com/2019/06/05/how-to-start-making-money-from-youtube/

These are step-by-step guides to setting up a YouTube Channel and mmaking money from it.

Step 1

Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Each YouTube account has one channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will grant you access to other Google products, such as Gmail and Drive.

Create your account or use your existing one. Add keywords to help people find your channel.

You can add keywords by navigating to the Advanced section of your Channel Settings. Make sure that your keywords are relevant to your content.

Your username can also work for or against you. If it’s short, easy to remember, and original, people will be more apt to remember you.

However, if you are using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it on your Google+ account.

Creating a YouTube channel using your Google account If you have a Google account, you can watch, share YouTube content.

But you need to create a YouTube channel to upload videos, comment, or make playlists.

You can use a computer or the YouTube mobile site / App to create a new channel.

Go to YouTube and sign in: Head over to YouTube.com and click ‘sign in’ in the top right corner of the page. Sign in using your Google account username and password.
Go to YouTube settings: In the top right corner of the screen, click on your profile icon and then the Settings’ icon.
Create your channel: Under your settings, you’ll see the option to “Create a channel,” click on this link. Next, you’ll have the option to create a personal channel or create a channel using a business or other name. For this example, let us choose the business option Now, it’s time to name your channel and select a category.

Step 2: Add content

Try to upload content that is high quality, and isn’t super long. (This option can vary depending on what type of content you decide to upload).

Also, try to upload regularly and stay consistent with your uploads.

Even if your content isn’t great at first, keep at it. Practice makes perfect. Try to make each video better than the last. You will often learn as you go.

Improve your content by either using a better camera or trying better editing software or techniques.

Also, try to improve the way things are filmed. Use a tripod, have a friend help you or light your scenes better. It all helps for a better end product which in turn helps you get a better audience.

By uploading regularly you can help hold an audience.

People are more likely to subscribe if you add content on regular schedule, and maintain that schedule as much as possible.

Make sure to tag your videos with keywords that describe the content, as well as an eye-catching description. These will help drive people to your video from YouTube searches.

Step 3: Build an audience

What ever you do, make sure you advertise with Google Adwords. A blog or YouTube Channel is useless without Subscribers or followers. You need views, referrals and an audience to succeed. Budget at least $100 for your Channel.

Building an audience is key to increasing your monetization. You need people to watch your ads in order to make any money off of them. There is no one secret to getting more subscribers, just make the best content that you can and they will come to you.

Keep uploading content and try to get people hooked. Send your video out on Twitter and Facebook. Share it with people. Distribute it elsewhere on the internet. Subscribers are essential to becoming a partner.

Interact with your viewers by responding to comments and making occasional videos directly related to viewer comments and questions. Connecting with your community will bring more members into that community.

Building an audience is key to increasing your monetization.

You need people to watch your ads in order to make any money off of them. There is no one secret to getting more subscribers, just make the best content that you can and they will come to you.

Step 4
Keep uploading content and try to get people hooked. Send your video out on Twitter and Facebook. Share it with people.

Distribute it elsewhere on the internet. Subscribers are essential to becoming a partner.

Interact with your viewers by responding to comments and making occasional videos directly related to viewer comments and questions. Connecting with your community will bring more members into that community.

Step 5
Get reviewed after reaching 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers

Upon reaching this threshold, your channel is automatically reviewed to make sure it complies with the YouTube Partner Program terms and their Community Guidelines. Youtube will email you a decision, usually within a week.

Step 6
You can set up Google AdSense for free at the AdSense website. YouTube uses Adsense to moneytize and pay their partners or Vloggers so you have to setup one.

Click the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account. You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you are younger than that, you will need an adult to help you.

You need either PayPal or a bank account and a valid mailing address as well as other information so AdSense can verify who you are and who to send the money to. You only gain money per ad click and a smaller amount per view but it adds up over time. This is why having an audience is key.

Step 7
Once you have some videos online, monetized, and being viewed, you can check out the analytics on them to see how they are performing. Click the Analytics option in your Channel menu.

Here you can view estimated earnings, ad performance, video views, demographics and more.

Use these tools to see how your content is resonating with your audience. You can change your content or your marketing if you’re finding that you aren’t attracting the users that you want to.

Step 8: Market your videos elsewhere

Post on Popular Websites like Nairaland and your very own blog so as to boost views. Social Media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can be of good resource too but you also need a good number of followers. I suggest at least 10,000 followers on each platform.

YouTube Partners are YouTube members who have monetized videos with a large number of viewers. Partners gain access to more content creation tools and can win prizes for the number of viewers they have. Partners also get access to much more community support and tips.

Step 9
You can apply for YouTube partnership at any time through the YouTube Partner page.

In order to gain access to the most powerful Partner programs, here is a guide:

If your channel has previously been in YPP: When you reach the program threshold, your channel will be automatically re-evaluated under the new criteria. You can check your monetization status at Creator Studio > Channel > Monetization.
If your channel has never been in YPP: Follow the 4 steps to join the YouTube Partner Program from your account in Creator Studio. Once your channel reaches the program threshold, you’ll be reviewed to join.

Step 10:
Increase your YouTube revenue with affiliate marketing

“Affiliate marketing” means selling products in exchange for a commission.

Hundreds of thousands of companies offer attractive deals to affiliate marketers who promote their products/services.
What is YouTube Affiliate Marketing?

YouTube affiliate marketing is the process of creating videos and placing affiliate links in the actual videos (via annotations) or in video descriptions, which includes links to products you review and use in your videos that will track a purchase.

If someone makes a purchase using your affiliate link, you receive a small commission for the sale.

You can Sell/Promote others’ products as an affiliate marketer, where huge companies, Jumia, Konga, Amazon and eBay, to smaller companies offer good deals to promoters.

Additionally, as a Nigerian… there are many affiliate networks you can join

Here are some ideas to make money through YouTube affiliate marketing

Product Unboxing – In these videos, you can simply open a product in a YouTube video, showing viewers exactly what’s inside the packaging. Then provide the affiliate link to that product website, where it is available for sale online.
Reviews – YouTube reviews are another great way to relieve buying anxiety and provide an affiliate link.
Training videos – Lastly, many affiliates make money by simply training viewers how to use a complicated product, and then sending those educated leads to their affiliate link.
Comedy videos: These are funny videos made in an attempt to make people laugh. These type of videos are very engaging and can drive massive traffic on your channel. E.g Bensoft Enterprise, Mark Angel Comedy, Ay Comedian etc
News: News channel is another type of channel that is popular and can gain viewership in no time. You can cover breaking news, multimedia, reviews & opinions, business, sports, movies, travel and more. E.g Naij, Channels etc
thank you op..please I would like to know how to edit video befor posting on my channel..
HealthRe: Breaking Bad Eye Habits: 11 Bad Eye Habits You Need To Break Now by Notatribalist(m): 8:16pm On Jun 01, 2019
ctecsols:
We all have a bad habit here or there that we need to break. But did you know that you have bad eye habits you need to break also? These bad eye habits could have created the eye condition that you have right now. Or you currently could be creating one as we speak. Here is a list of bad eye habits, that you should break right now, and how to do it.

1. Rubbing Your Eyes

Did you know the skin around your eyes is one of the most sensitive skin areas on your body? Rubbing your eyes can break tiny blood vessels under the skin’s surface which can cause puffy eyes, dark circles or droopy eyelids. Not to mention rubbing your eyes,

can also cause pressure to build up in your eyes which leads to all sorts of eye conditions. If you feel your eyes are becoming tired and you need to rub them, gently tab on the skin all around your eyes with your pointer and middle finger.

2. Eating Poorly

Change your diet. Instead of fast food, and carbs, eat more fruits and vegetables. Eating a well-balanced meal not only helps your body run smoothly, it also helps improve your vision and can even prevent many age-related eye diseases. Aim for a diet rich is colorful fruit and vegetables and leafy greens.

3. Wearing Sunglasses

We’ve all heard people nag about putting on sunglasses, so the Sun’s UV Rays won’t damage your eyes, but in reality the sun is good for your eyes. Although looking directly at the mid-day sun might be a no-no, looking at the sunrise or sunset is not only a great way to relax you mind, you are also relaxing your eyes. All while working out your long-distance vision and catching some Vitamin D. So go watch the sunset tonight!!

4. Smoking

Not only is smoking bad for your lungs and overall health, smoking can also hurt your eyes. Smoking has been linked to several eye diseases such as Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Dry Eye Syndrome, Uveitis (inflammation of the middle part of the eye) and Diabetic Retinopathy. Best thing to do for your body is quit smoking. Get some family or friends to support you and BREAK THE HABIT!

5. Not Drinking Enough Water

Are you drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water a day? It may seem like a lot, but it’s really necessary. Not drinking enough water and having a high-sodium diet, can cause your body to dehydrate. Your body (including your eyes) are made up of 70% water. If you become dehydrated, you are draining your eyes out of the moisture they need to create enough tears to stay healthy. Symptoms associated with dehydration in the eyes are redness, puffy eyelids and dryness. If you find it hard to get enough water throughout the day, try setting an hour timer at your desk, when the timer goes off, finish your water glass and refill it.

6. Sleeping Poorly

Your body needs sleep to recoup after a hard day’s work. Staying up late and getting up early doesn’t allow the time your body needs to get into a deep realm of sleep. Causing you to become achy and tired throughout the day. But it’s not just your body that shows you’re lacking sleep, your eyes are usually the first sign. Dark circles, eye twitching, blurry vision, dry and red eyes are signs you are not getting enough sleep. Try to aim for 6 – 8 hours of sleep each night. It’s best to make this a routine, so even on the weekends, aim for that 6 – 8 hours! The best part is your eyes are often the first to show you’ve had a good night sleep, giving you alert, glowing, bright eyes. So go get a good night’s sleep tonight and reap the benefits tomorrow!

7. Not Giving Your Eyes Time To Breathe

If you have astigmatism, are nearsighted or farsighted and wear glasses or contact lenses daily, give your eyes time to breathe. Don’t where your glasses all the time, take them off and do tasks that don’t require them, such as reading a book if you are sitting directly on your eye. Your eye needs oxygen to fight infection. If you wear contacts daily, you are at a greater risk of developing an eye infection or dry eyes, which can cause you to scratch your cornea due to the lens drying out. Always alternate between glasses and contacts, and take a break from both to really see the world from your own eyes.

8. Lying Down While Watching TV

When you watch movies or TV do you lie down on the couch? It may not seem like something that hurts your eyes, but lying down while watching TV, puts serious strain on your eyes. Your eyes aren’t level with the TV, they

are viewing the TV at an angle, which causes your eyes to try to focus on the image while flipping it right side up. All the added strain is causing your vision to deteriorate. From now on, sit up on the couch while watching TV and while we are at it, sit at a good distance away from the TV screen.

9. Reading in Poor Light

Everyone likes a good book in bed from time to time. But if you are reading in poor lighting you are hurting your eyes. Dim light while reading can make it difficult for your eyes to focus, causing short-term eye fatigue, dry eyes and blurred vision. Always have a reading lamp on while reading. Invest in a low watt reading light for your bed side table, that way you can enjoy your book in bed, while not disturbing your partner.

10. Reading While Travelling

One of the worst things you can do for your eyes, is reading while in a moving vehicle. It may get boring sitting on that train or during a road trip, but it puts strain on your eyes.

The unstable movement of the vehicle causes your eyes to keep adjusting. This can cause headaches, blurred vision, red and dry eyes. Next road trip try playing a car game with your friends!

11. Using Your Laptop To Watch TV

We all know about the latest trend of watching movies or videos on your laptop or tablets, but did you know that these devices are causing your eyes to deteriorate? Since

you are watching the screen at such a close distance from your eyes, you are putting unnecessary strain on your eyes, and causing them to focus on a bright screen from inches away. In general staring at any computer screen for too long can cause headaches, eye fatigue, eye dryness and red eye. If you find it

hard to get away from your computer, tablet or smartphone. Try the 20-20-20 trick. Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away from your screen for 20 seconds. You’ll eventually notice your eyes feel less tired and strained during the day!

Simple tricks like the ones above can help you to break these bad eye habits, and give your eyes the attention they deserve.

Read the lightening vision system eBook now and discover the simple 3 step process to naturally cure your eye problems and restore your perfect 20/20 vision at the speed of light and without any form of prescriptions or medications.

Truth is bitter..Nigerians are most times nuisance to their host countries..It should even be a shame to our leaders that Ghana is now way above Nigeria and even deporting Nigerians when it was Nigeria that deported her citizens years back..But guess what, these clowns have no shame..I spit on them.
did you just say Ghana way above Nigeria?don't say what you don't know.. Kindly visit Ghana and possibly stay for a week surely your perception about both countries will change.
