this is the year of voluntary stepping aside, for me I decided never to watch BBAfrica for reasons I can't even explain; maybe its because I discovered there is not there for me to learn, just can't lay my hands on it |
I wish Jonathan will simply put aside sentiment and ask Sanusi to give Innoson some huge financial support like N10Billion, so that they can upgrade to world class standard and produce affordable buses and pick up vans for Nigeria. I will also like my sporting company to patronise them in the future by customising the buses to club own taste..lol, but its cool, so much could be done, even local government and state should drop their party affiliations and support this business, just like the America and Chinese. This is not an igbo project, so Yoruba don't hate, Igbos please don't over hype, let us all join hands to support |
In addition to advertise for stores to avoid getting into problems with the moderators, but if you talk about STORES, if not for misplaced priority by the daughter of the founder, I believe the club would have been the biggest brand in local football in the country because even as I speak to you the fan base of STORES is far more than any club in the country, which is why the fans want the club back; new supporters are also welcome on board; the government killed sport but we must revive it |
Dis Guy:when I said ask me... all I was saying in actual sense is that I have a simple clue to salvage these local club, it a simple networking model used daily in our different life; all that is required is simple tweaking and the face of club supporter-ship in the country will change forever, I worry why a club like Kano Pillars with all the large supporters we see during their matches could still be collecting money from the government, with proper management of their database and the club in particular, they should be able to make nothing less than N2Billion yearly, I stand to be corrected, I am not searching for job, I support Stores and we the supporters are working on something that would change the face of sports in Lagos. Lagos is 15M ppl, all that is needed is just less than 0.2% active supporters and several million fans. The government cannot run football clubs, we must return the clubs to the people |

We need club with proper board of Directors, proper account and nothing less than 40,000 registered supporters, we need clubs that is supported massively by the people living in the city where the club is situation; this is possible, we have to tell our leaders. The state can actually keep 10% and subdivide the club into 10 or 20 units and ask different level of people to buy into it; the club since it is owned by the state is also a property of the people, and if they need to know how it could be done, just ask me |
my brother if you don't believe me make I believe you abi, we must have an understand, I live in a virtual world... in a world of make believe, I agree with your view concerning that pics, but in my world we can do better and you will still believe, so its a free world |
Any body who believe this pics will surely believe anything on the internet is real, this is so fake, I am looking for another word to you, I blind begger just asked me if I believe in that junk, I can get a realistic Titanic ship on Marina or on the Canal near my house in Surulere and it will look real; whoever made that pics did a good job no doubt, but I can point out the errors with easy, ask the photoshop guys, it is easy to see common naija, its not about not having the moment... its pocket money for many Nigerians, but that pics is a fake |
honeric01: Already a fan. honeric01: Already a fan.We are searching for the foundation coach who will commence work immediately, if you know anyone ask him to visit the LTV on Friday by 10am for interview |
I mentioned Stores is coming back as Stores Supporters Football Club, the steering committee is working seriously to get the club back in top flight, it not going to be funded by the government as it is going to be mainly with the support from members and sponsorship. The initial target for the club is to raise a formidable youth team and a massive fan base of over 100,000, so if you live in Lagos and wish to be part of this great club join us on facebook, the website is on the way, at least at the moment you do not have to pay to be a member, join us to create the largest fan base in Africa. |
people need to talk about our local clubs, because if anyone watched the match between Enyimba and Heartland, the only low point of the match was after 90mins, the FA should sanction the club with about N100Million, and encourage the club to register the members/fans. The match was world class quality, which is why efforts should be made to get all matches on TV even if it is delayed |
Goodluck Subsidy97 is gud anof |
Dis Guy:a lot has been done concern stores supporters fc, less help is needed from the government, very soon Lagos will witness the much needed mega club, the steering committee is working, the entire web base or off-web base fans is waiting, the target is to raise 200k supporters, so if you are in Lagos follow the Facebook link https://www./235732549841774/ join the club and make your contribution after going thru other people's comment. |
I am so happy some great guys are working on reviving Stores, by ensuring massive fan support, they even plan to avoid financial committment from government, because is becos they want the club to be truly financially dependent; the club will be modeled like top Spanish clubs that are not owned by any individual but the supporters, it will be good to see stores come back in style, the Government should allow the supporters own the club then government support can come by way of security support |
Great work please keep the flag flying
|
I like some mental people wen dey Nairaland, go and check their post, you will find nothing innovative from them, all they just do is wake up every morning check NL, search for post wen dem go condemn; all in the name of acting relevant. For your information please visit the next transformer and hug am press if you no get work. Na una go attack Igbo or Yoruba or Hause or Ijaw, nothing dey una head, see as una head big like motor |
@Beaf I am so surprised and completely short of words when I saw ur post; are you for real or this is one of those jokes people post on the internet. I am sure you saw the wonderful edifice most of our governors have within and outside the country even with the subsidy in place, what do you think will happen now that they will be given more money to play with; or did jonathan tell you he is going to do the spending himself; we saw what OBJ and co has been doing now we want to give them more money; did GEJ also told you who has been sabotaging the refinery? who are those smuggling fuel already subsidized; Otedola, Dangote and Adenuga, these guys are not my friends. I am so happy I never wasted my vote; i knew a long he had nothing to offer |
Maybe when Seun start charging per post some people will think well before posting anything; imagine am over 30 I have never step inside a train in my life. I have never witnessed 24 hours of power in my whole life; we know the cost of chicken is about N1,500 (about 6 pounds) in Nigeria, yet in UK its just 2 pounds,. The idiot (suspected GEJ apologist) don't have a car in UK where is claim to be living yet he is giving us the figure of the cost. IF GEJ give us 24 hrs power, good roads, good salaries minimum wage of N200,000, health care, reduced civil service and national assembly; he can go ahead to raise it to N500 if he likes. |
the League Starts 7th January 2012 |
Its is shocking that lots of people on Nairaland simply wait for the next person to yab; majority of the replies on most of the thread are just for yabbing other Nairaland members maybe due to ethnic connections or leaders of this country and nothing more. There seem to be nothing the heads of many apart from yabbing, why? Igbo this, hausa that, yoruba say, na wa o. You guys should endeavour to react positively, find solution where there is none because anybody on Nairaland could be the president tomorrow; anybody could be reading your post, but if you have nothing to offer why waste the space. You should all grow up and act positively help Nigeria make meaningful growth, you have a lot inside you, please don't be nuisance other nationality could be using this medium to judge us. See the way we are condemning a man simply because he made mistake and admitted he did; judging by the malicious replies on this thread majority would have turn even local government to states and still claim they are right. Please like I usually say, use your head and not your leg. |
please make use of your head while thinking and not your legs, so those who only visit NL to badmouth any project for the sake of badmouthing please if you have nothing upstairs just view and learn its not a must for everyone to make comments. Its a good effort no doubt I have always been thinking of mini refinery instead of large one; we should imagine have small refinery in at least every state or local government, jobs will be created and lots of raw material will be available for local usage; I feel the government should think MINI instead of MEGA, what do you think? |
Nairalanders, please when you see a thread, please study the topic, don't just contribute simply because everyone is doing so, because your opinion might come back to hunt you some day. If you have a good film and you take your plan to BOI and they are able to confirm that you have a good project and at the end of the successful project, you are able to return the loan and the interest like every other good business, people are employed and they are able to feed their families. Holly Wood is supported by the America Government I have that on good authority, you can confirm that by contacting the home office here in Nigeria or any top producer in the US. You see their flags on every film you feel its just respect for their country? we should not condemn any project for the sake of it. When a project is approved support it then call for more; if we fix all the roads in Nigeria without touching other areas, how do you think we can move forward; how much is N75B to this guys at the government, we should thank God that they are even thinking of investing it in Nigeria and not outside the country. We can write proposal for the setting up of Cinemas in all the local government areas so that every quality films that comes out will be shown for all interested persons to see; and those involved makes money to pay their workers. We can set up top rated film schools where even people from abroad will even be trained and the revenue come to the schools. My People in India the government support their film industry even more than the whole of Africa put together, please let us think before contributing so that we can add value to the success of this country instead of destroying everything, we should make effort to create something good. Please don't destroy if you cannot create. |
some people on nairaland have nothing upstairs it is common for them to come online maybe using one cheap phone just to condenm other tribes all in the name of just adding comments; anyone who abuse other tribes is a complete fool because somewhere along every blood line we are all connected. what a shame |
its a shame the way thing are going on in Nigeria, who ever is the league president or chairman they should ensure that we have a very competitive league next season; they can setup a strong technical department specially for the league to be headed by someone that have managed any of the top 10 leagues in the world, so that they can help structure the league to become better and ensure that every month the coaches undergo short courses to help them also; then the players should be encouraged to take evening class for English, Economics and Mathematics, so that they will be usefull for themselves in the future |

Michael 13:like selling beans ![]() what you people don't understand is that even Keshi will find it difficult if he continue with the same set of boys; he should develop home grown team regularly and ensure that they play countries in Africa at least once every month, else we would still be living in fools paradise |
I know this guy very well, its a pity he never listened to simple advice years back. I also wonder why people just come online to full themselves in the name of tribalism; the guy in question has an igbo from Nteje in Anambra state and his wife is from Owerri; it is only a fool that will be promoting tribalism; tribalism is same as racism; so when you throw stone into a market be sure your people are all at home |
It is ok for Jonathan to send militants but not ok for a governor to send only 60 student, I was even of the view that the number of student is only 60, yet you are saying its too much; what if you have a relative or even you as one of that student will you be complaining; abeg go find work. una too dey complain for every little thing, my dad benefited in the 70s, I also benefited from the NDDC sponsored New York film Academy project in 2010; you should be thanking him and encourage him to do more. |
so nobody is really talking about how to change the fortune of Nigeria league football; please guys lets do something so that those coming after us will not say we are a group wasted generations; we just have to do something now, like a revolution |
Yak is actually planning to take over Siasia job, I know Yak is a very good coach, ManU are planning to use him to replace Ferguson next year so we should go for him as soon as possible. ![]() |
he has a Nigeria blood in him, his mother was a Nigeria. He was actually on his way to Nigeria when they killed him. He wanted to contest the next election in 2015 using his Nigeria passport. |
If we want our football to grow, we need business minded people who knows how to manage top brand like the super eagles; we need people who know that you don't need to pay the eagles $10K to perform for a nations cup qualifier. We need people in both NPL and NFF who understand the importance of making sure that every league venue must be filled with serious supporters of over 50 k people every match day. We need people who understand the importance of encouraging other states to develop league like Lagos state. we need people who can push for the female to be developed to rival what is obtainable in Europe and America. It is this same league that we expect to see replacement for our super eagles players, yet we are allow the league suffer; we must act now |
