Every little opportunity you fly the tribal narrative, we should stop this tribalism because it is taking us nowhere. God bless Nigeria unohbethel: |
You need visa o, let me know when you are ready, do you even have a passport Peejayx01: |
Some people always expect evil everywhere they turn; they are constructing a bridge to ease transportation you are expecting the bridge to fall. I hope you are under when it happens so that you can have enough bad news to report Jayslicky: |
Nigerian Journalist and sensational headlines for to sell Paper. This journalist was quick to make comparison with Ethiopia since we are all Africans but forgot to state that even in the same state, the same distance in different directions could cost different amounts due to the different topography of the terrain. I took time to study the Ethiopia light rail and discovered that apart from the elevated track like the one in Lagos, there is no part of the project where they needed to construct a bridge over Lagoon and that cost quite a lot but the difference in the total contract sum could be significant. The length of the elevated track could be an additional cost. So comparison should be eliminated in the discussion completely. We should focus more on the reason for the delay and ask why it cost that much. The reporter should be able to cost the Chinese government and companies for more details, who know maybe the problem and delays could be from them. |
Regardless of your status there are a lot of ways you can help your child in sports with little efforts, I am doing the same for my daughter in tennis. Simple sport like table tennis, snooker, Volleyball, chess cost little or nothing. Poverty is not an excuse but a choice internationalman: |
Some headlines are misleading against the government, then you read the article only to discover the contradiction. Falana was used to in the headline instead of using the Minister of Finance. The presidency through the Minister already making the right moves, then Falana taking advantage of the gullibility in the National Assembly by saying the same thing as the Minister. Everyone trying to be relevant because we have funny people in the National Assembly The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, had explained that the increase would only begin after the VAT Act was amended by the National Assembly and after consultations with the state and local government areas as well as the Nigerian populace. |
For your information, Pinnick had that house long before he got into the NFF iamJ: |
God bless you Mr. President, I just wish the boarder could shut for about 2 years or more so that we can look inward |
And the richest black man is Dangote, you underestimated the North Ladiesdoctor: |
In a short while, the prize of local rice will crash gradually, the high cost is only temporary, before December nobody will remember it was sold for such amount. By the time this and several others like Lake Rice comes in full effect, you will then appreciate the ban by the Federal Government and the closure of the border. FarahAideed: |
You were too busy attack Buhari, here is a link on your concern on the South South axis https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/04/warri-itakpe-railway-project-ready-for-commercial-activities-amaechi/amp/ Even in this current stories, he mentioned the Warri to Port Harcourt, and in case your don't know, the project is in phases, if the project was important to the PDP government by now South South and South East would have been the project this administration would have been working at the moment, so you have to complete this project to give room for the necessary fund SILVERLINES: |
I just did an IP Check on the guy that created the thread, he is using an MTN line yet he wants you to stop using South African product, this this weekend he is going to watch the EPL, I wonder if that will be on DSTV. MYOPIC THINKERS. Instead of saying we should stop, maybe we should takeover the businesses |
Are you trying to hack people phones and systems using this link, the moderator should double check or remove because I don't get this lies and trying use this link News9naija: |
So Eutelsat that is owned by French company is suddenly owned by South African investors just because you want to attack DSTV; if you say they own DSTV that is ok, but the signal is by French company that owns Eutelsat, or are you trying to say they are broadcasting some content like Super Sports and MNET from South Africa. Iamgrey5: |
Time has come for Africans to consider death penalty for any stolen funds that was supposed to be used on infrastructural project that could save lives |
KingAzubuike:Stop taking Tramadol it is not helping you |
A lot of people of nairaland and other social media are busy claiming marginalization., the real marginalization is between the elites and the poor |
What is N6? Is that the name of a shoe? Mr. Tony raised an issue, instead of focusing on the original issue, you are bringing another matter just to counter it, why not create a new thread completely independent from the matter at hand. |
Mumu post How did you know your own candidate is the People's choice You don't like IBETO'S choice, but you accepted the one that was PENCILED DOWN by JONATHAN how is that not stupid |
You just described how stupid you are, even dogs are better than you Bloooody: |
baliyubla:Some people just want to show how stupid they are in public, imagine a lifeless stone calling someone lifeless, you don't have to say something all the time |
There was nothing, no single pillars under GEJ, even PDP knows these facts, pls don't deceive people, just show us the pillars in 2015 Shikini: |
Only fools will agree with this mumu, if you claim that he slumped, why mock his late son |
This is the first time in the tournament the US are scoring less than 100, if only we could do more for our league, we have the manpower but the administration is poor. Imagine if we had strong regional league for youth teams representing schools, local government and medium businesses. While we create a national franchise for professional clubs that can't be relegated but must tick all the boxes for a sustainable professional league like the NBA. we can do it |
I was wondering if someone who stays in Lagos didn't see this 2 bedroom duplex, ordinary Oshodi Interchange is 10times more advanced. Sannisege: |
fratermathy:From what I heard the issue of TV will be taking care of subsequently as discussions are on going. As a matter of fact this is going to be expanded from next edition HigherEd:All private universities and polytechnics will be part of subsequent edition because it is not just for university, it is for Higher Institutions |
This is good one from the government, I thought this government was going to neglect the East, but it seems to me when compared with the last 16 before this government, this is the only time reasonable and business minded projects that the Eastern block truly needs is coming their way. The direct electrification of major markets in the East according to Fashola to bypass the DISCOS who refuse upgrade for whatever reason. The East will benefit more as time goes on. I don't do politics people do here on Nairaland, the moderation here is that no racism or tribalism, but I see a lot that goes unchecked and a lot needs to be cleaned up. Cleanup could come in form of a Yellow Card and the next come the Red Card. |
Too many kids on Nairaland making stupid comments, if you don't know what to say shut up, all these unnecessary tribal attacks should stop, moderators should do something about it |
ChangetheChange:Ok I can see Fayose under those cars |
Bitterleafsoup:You should upgrade your dead brain too, because you make no sense, it is not compulsory to say anything if your brain is not working |
This is not the first, because Jos, Abuja and Kwara have been setup already; its a nationwide project |
I was about 100meters behind the bus on my way to Ajah, they were rushed to the hospital immediately, not that people were busy taking photos, but you know Nigerians will always question everything; imagine if it was just stories and no photos, those making noise about the photos will say "where is the evidence?"; some of those inside the bus said immediately someone picked a call the incident occurred, so it could be said that the phone call caused the fire; some of you who use your phones as torchlight when filling your fuel tanks should be careful |
