FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO SAY THE UNIFORM FITS HIM, YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TROUBLE; I JUST HOPE THE IDEA OF THE "THE UNIFORM FITS HIM" DOESN'T GET INTO HIS HEAD, SO THAT HE WILL NOT WAKE UP ONE MORNING ON NTA AND TELL US "FELLOW NIGERIAN" LOL |
We can kill the coaches and player but the monster has been created already. The Brazilian and Spanish best players are usually fully developed at home before they venture abroad for more money and experiences; Neymar, Kaka and Robinho are good examples. The first step to get the players both local and foreign very committed to playing for the national team is to ensure that the match bonuses is reduced to something very minimal so that corruption will be eliminated, because players can simply share about 50% of their earnings for the coaches and their God father in the FA; they can be given their travel cost and maybe N150K or less. We the Nigerian people must ask the state government to hand over the club to the people, so that we can develop true professional clubs. Have over 20 serious professional clubs, it means there are over 60 players fight for one national team position with the compliments of the foreign based players who equally understand that they have to fight over 600 players for position. The day the national team players know that even to get a place on the bench is a very difficult, then we can begin to see the commitment in every player. No player will ever come to camp late because they know it would cost them their positions. The FA and the NPL must work together to identify 4 top local coaches, who will be tasked with a duty to call up 18 players from the different clubs with a maximum 3 from each club. Every month, this 4 coaches are expected to monitor the league and pencil down some players, and on the weekend on the FA special week. On the Monday of the FA special week the selected coaches will be expected to take turns to name one player after the other, then the next day, the players are expected to report to camp early under the coaches that picked them. Friday to Sunday will be for matches and all effort must be in place to ensure that on every game, we have full capacity and the national coaches must be present. The 4 coaches earn their pay cheque during the week of the matches, so their salary will be based on how they perform; this method will encourage coaches to work hard and scout well for the best players. Even if there are international friendly and the national needs the services of top local players the 4 coaches must continue with their task. In doing the above, the national team coaches will have the opportunity to capitalise on the selection of these coaches to build the national team. There are different styles of play by different continents; the FA must enter into partnership with various countries in different continents, so that for the period of the partnership a particular day or month using the FIFA free window as a guide matches between the national teams of both countries will be played; it means from the under 17 (male and female), under 20 (male and female) and the senior team (male and female). It is not too much for the FA sponsors to support the teams by providing the FA with all that is required. Imagine our national team playing Brazil male and female teams or the German male and female teams; it will help build the quality the teams require. If we have true under aged teams go on this tour with the main team, few years from now the result will surely come. We have to use the same method to develop the female league. I have spoken about how I feel Stationary Stores could be built and use it as a model to rebuild other club in order to have a truly professional league. What do you think we can do, we have to act now, its a matter of emergency. |
I still love my club; and for those talking don't hide please rep your club by stating the name or show your logo
|
You all can continue mocking, its okay if you just state your club while enjoying our fall; we are only down not out, WE WOULD BE BACK. I still love my coach no matter what. My fellow Gunners pls don't be ashamed of anything, it may be 8-2, but good enough its only 3 games, we are not in the mid season yet, lots of time to readjusted and get back on track. UP GUNNERS! !! !!! TILL THE END OF TIME |
Upon all the explanation MR. KNOWALL, yet you know nothing, Badagry Express and Oshodi Express, yet you cannot differentiate, both roads only intersect at the bridge over Mile 2; the state government is working on the longest of both KnowAll: |
whats the big deal; lot of snow in Surulere, Lagos, even right now I can't open my door I had to go out through the roof |
@all anybody who feel the league is crab, should please tell us what he/she think we should do under this situation, your contribution could be seen by someone who can effect a change, don't condemn when you can't create. |
igbo boy:there is a lot of peace in my heart when I deal with different tribes; Umulere and Aguleri war is still fresh in my memory, I wasn't told I witnessed it first hand when visiting my mother's family; brothers killing brothers nobody said we are all igbos; when the war in Modakeke-Ife war broke out, it was the Yorubas killing one another, so when you talk about war ask yourself one question "who wins" an average Anambra man doesn't want to marry an Owerri lady, even in the Yoruba land, the Ijebu man is seen as selfish by other Yorubas, so a lot of distrust within the tribe. I am happy I have no camp, I enjoy speaking Ibo and Yoruba it helps me lot when relating with people. |
@ my people; Yamaha is considered to be the best when it comes to power bike, but their first bike was a copy of a German bike, but today see where they are; so for those who cannot make their beds, appreciate those who can, is it not a shame that you cannot be considered as one of the best in your field yet you condemn others. The only way some of you nairalanders can grow is to see possibilities. The only reason why we didn't host the world cup is simply because we are not united, not because we lack the basic infrastructures; an Igbo man doesn't want a Yoruba man to lead, while the Yoruba man doesn't see an Hausa man in that capacity; we should break those dirty line and embrace one another. we are no less than each other and it is crazy how we think because we can never grow this way, I pity the future generation because we are creating deadly viruses and its only a matter of time before the unexpected happens. |
as a matter of fact all tribe in nigeria are involved in fraud, it has nothing to do with tribe - tribalism go kill some people, we are all the same; abeg am out |
I hate tribalism with a passion and I wonder how some people find it easy to say "a yoruba man did this, an hausa man did that and Igbo man said that" nonsense! if i had am Seun as part of the nairaland rules if any tribalistic statement is made such person will be blocked pure and simple. It make no sense when reasonable people try to be objective and straightforward not minding the tribe, then you'll find nutty fellow chip in the tribal card; which is why whenever is see some thread i just have to step out so as not to pollute my head rubbish. We should be objective when we post on any thread. Matters like this has nothing to do with tribe; we have seen mothers kill her son and the other way round too, so what is the big deal if Mustapha is telling the truth, it doesn't mean the Yoruba race are all bad. We have seen Landlord who said he wanted only Yoruba tenants and the killing him; or in some cases we have seen an igbo man helping his landlord who happens to be in serious need. My father is from the Yoruba part of Edo state, my mother is from Anambra, some of my cousins are from Kano courtesy my mother's younger sister who got married to an Hausa man, so for me there is no line. I only make friends regardless of the tribe |
Wole Arisekola wants to buy 3SC for N2 Billion, I think other state government should do the same; but as for my nairalander I have a simple proposal that can change Nigeria sport and I will like you to make contribution; I will send it when it is ready. Let me see your opinion on the 3SC N2 Billion deal link: http://www.africanews.com/site/list_message/35083 |
long time, guys am working on somthing I feel may change the face of our entire sport, I will need your opinion when its done |
we are too sentimental about issues, instead making reasonable suggestions. The govt. is in health(lasuth), roads (badagry exp.way). Water (lost count), the last time i checked the lekki road is still ongoing, the 4th mainland is also on the list. Ppl shuld consider the fact that if we spend all our money on roads and hospitals witout look for new IGR, then children yet unborn will never 4give us. We need money to maintain the roads and hospitals, where do we get the fund when the popullation shoots up to 25mil. Ppl are still complaining about like the brt and rail yet they have not profer any alternative |
it great but not in the level of matrix, common just because of their overkill in cgi doesn't mean you can match it with matrix, wait for my Nigerian version in 2013 |
thank you Beyonce, if you American people don't have work for them to place you on fire, don't worry we are behind you with enough water, thank you once more for Fela |
people are not just satisfied, even they say we have the best satellite in the world, some crazy fellow will surely find fault; some people are always looking for fault without adding any value in any ways possible. little contribution might go a long way to change a nation; in another thread some people are complaining about the bashing of Nigeria on CSI but they can never see when good lines about Nigeria are used; Inside Africa on CNN air some good stories about Nigeria but the moment to tell a not so good one, we start making noise. |
don't go around looking for the bad things said about Nigeria in films, I have seen more 100 films where Americans bash Russia, Iran even England, so whats the noise about Nigeria been mentioned in films, ask your producers to bash Americans too, it just a film no big deal; if a Nigerian producers makes a film about Charles Taylor, you don't expect him not to mention Liberia; in some film too they have mentioned Nigeria with good reasons, so talk about that too. haba |
this is not funny, these people should know that its only a film, they are only making us a laughing stuck of the world, they are already killing the idea of making great films in Nigeria; even Americans make film about terro; I have seen quite a few nigeria film approved by NFVCB maybe he refuse to give them bribe, he should go to Ghana and other African countries, and make the dvd available for purchase over the internet, and let nigeria buy it. In the near future nobody will need their approval, when film will be sold and watched online |
Nigerian ladies are very beautiful, this lady is not my babe, but a friend met last year, plsss, I have seen more prettier 9jar ladies
|
i saw another match on Saturday APAPA IGANMU 0 - 0 LAGOS ISLAND EAST, by all standard the match was good and I enjoyed myself and the young man that came along with me, I wish more people will talk about the match and also visit the nearest venue so that they will see these young boys grow and give their support, so that tomorrow nobody will say certain players are overage because these guys are truly young, even the guy that went with me was shocked to see the players |
He that is down need fear no fall i took my time to read thru and understanding everything i can about Henry, and I put myself in his shoes, then I realize that anybody will do the same as this man, those of you hoping GEJ may first ask themselves this simple question if you are Henry Okah and in your heart you know all the allegation against you are correct == now the question will be "what will you do to get out of this mess" |
In the land of Apes am sure you would have been Mr. Universe |
was he not the one that gave late Yaradua one of his kidney? if he is the same person the Katsina people should be very prayerful that this one doesn't die in office and cause another confusion for them |
In fairness to IBB, going by the position of some northern leaders and their double standards, I don't think they are right to say Jonathan should resign when not too long ago they also witness how IBB, Abacha and Yaradua ran the country, if the northern leaders truly want the north to rule, they should drop the idea of presenting IBB as their candidate and present someone with credible past and appreciable record, because I don't trust IBB; his desperation for power is suspicios; maybe we should find out how much was the Naira before IBB took over from Buhari and how much was it on the day he left |
http://lagosjuniorleague.org/ I visited the website today and got more details about the plans and the people behind it |
