U re talking of mb developing as if states from d far north( cox to me, I don't knw anytin like "core-north,"r static. Identifying as mb doesn't mean de r, cox de people frm d mb dat r identified as northerners too. There r indigenous kanuris frm Nasarawa state( Lafia precisely,) and many indigenous Hausa, Fulanis frm d mb.

All these division hypothesis about d north won't even work, dsame way some people don't want to b called northerners( mostly christians), same way some want to northerners( mostly Muslims). And almost all d states in NE hv a large population of christians- 'I guess de wud also divide?'. To divide d north is jst a mirage.



Nasawara overtaken Kano is just hallucination. Until it's actualized.



D best tin is for you guys to stop hating urselves along religious line nd tribalism btw d Hausas nd d southern people of kaduna. Despite, all d hatred btw Dem, they stil do business together, despite d killings they r still living in dsame LGA across d state.



They are christian in my state( though, 1.1%), but de dnt hate or kill demselves because of religion even if there's religious crisis in some state.

One Arewa is no longer practical. The earlier you recognize this, the better for you. It is just a matter of time till everything crumbles.

Many middlebelt youths are now begining to see themselves very different and disconnected from core-northerners because the core-northerners chose to remain very backwards and nobody wants to identify with backwardness.

What tied most middlebelt muslims to hausa-fulanis in the past was the fact that a large population of middlebelt muslims migrated to Hausaland and got accustomed to hausa culture. The tide is gradually changing because of Abuja.
A Nupe, Igala, Ebira, Bassa, Gbagyi or Alago muslim, instead of migrating to Kano now will rather move to Abuja.

Indigenous Hausa-fulani-kanuri in Nasarawa state are barely up to 5%. They have never produced Senator, Governor or deputy governor there. They are never considered in the power rotationing in the state. Niger state is the only place Hausa-fulanis have an influence because they hide under the politial largeness and complexity of the state.

Nasarawa west is urbanizing at a faster rate than Kano and that is the point here. It has every possibility to overtake Kano some years from now.

The bottomline of everything is that until core-northerners start making progress with their populations, middlebelters will continue to gradually distance away from them, until the divide will become too large to bridge.

No, i would have still posted the women after the men. I only paused to have my dinner. I wanted to remind Kenyans of their genetic ugliness in both genders, i tot they would have a better explanation.

This is the reason why Tanzanians reject and frustrate a united East Africa with Kenyans. They claim Kenyans are too ugly to share same country with them

I took the pains to educate some Kenyans e.g TayserMahiri on this, when he tried his best to make Lagos look like Kenya with slums, after i was done with him, he deactivated for weeks due to embarrasment.

Yes, people e.g wiki sources, often mistake places like Ajegunle, Shomolu, Bariga e.t.c as slums, but i have proven it here times without number that these places are just low income areas and they are not slums.

Yeah, Taraba even have a more temperate climate than Jos plateau, so I don't see why not.
Jos, including other parts of Northern plateau have a suitable climate. Tea in Taraba is starting to pick up in terms of commercial quantities, although there is still a long way to go.
Even parts of Adamawa and Cross river have elevations that are over 1,500 meters, although I think that of Adamawa will need extensive irrigation.

Plateau state has the advantage because half or 65% of the state is on the mountains, while only 1 or 2 LGA of Taraba, Cross river and Adamawa are on highlands.

From Lagos to abule egba you will spend 3 hours in your journey provided the traffic is free, against that condition you can spend 5 hours in the road. The logic is town like abule egba are referred as Lagos based on the urbanization of the city, But abule egba is a different town entirely very far from Lagos.

This is what all these Kenyans, Ghanaians and others do not understand.
Lagos state is a massive connurbation of many cities and towns, some that are not connected to each other as such.
Even if there is no traffic, the distance btw some places within Lagos will take you hours.

Sahara desert countries like Niger and Mali do record below 0°C nightime temps in the deserts, but little or no people live there because daytime temps are extremely hot.

lol Lagos is urbanised but it has slums? BTW greater Accra region has also entered in some parts of the central region (kasoa) and some parts of the Volta region.

There is only 1 slum in Lagos and it is on the water. Half of it has already even been demolished.
It is impossible for any slum to develop on land in Lagos state.

Call me back, when the entire greater accra region has been 100% urbanized. Lagos state has no mate in Africa except Cairo.

No need to make this a debate. It doesn't snow in Nigeria. Large parts of states like Plateau, cross river and Taraba have temperate or near temperate climate. Most of Nigeria is tropical with a little variation in temperature. In Kenya, the central highlands have a temperate climate with snowfall occurring in the highest elevations and peaks. Kenyan highlands remind me of many parts of Taraba as its the only state in Nigeria that produces tea.

LoL, we have not really tried to grow tea in Jos, i bet it will grow. If not in Jos, then in Kuru (which is even higher than Jos).

It's a very big shame on Taraba state govt that they are not harnessing Mambilla Plateau to the maximum, if not that state has all it takes to export tea.

We grow strawberries, mint, cauliflowers, broccolis, bressels sprouts, spring onions, lettuces and so many foreign fruits and vegetables in Jos. I wonder why they do not in Taraba.
It's just a shame that our state and federal govt does not support the local farmers.
It is gradually improving since the recession though.

Have u ever been to any northern state? Humidity in the north is low, hence drier, unlike the South.

PH is currently cooler than Jos. So, relocating to PH might be a better option for you. Unless you want to enjoy the extremely cheap foodstuffs, foreign vegetables and fruits grown in Jos, and the spectacular landscape, then yes, Jos would be a better option.
