fanficgirl:Nigerian music has produced dozens of millionaires. The industry has employed thousands of people and is employing more. |
Jay254:Stop saying rubbish and embarrassing yourself. How can Nairobi metropolitan area be 4m ppl? In 2009 (8 years ago) it was estimated to be 6.5m ppl, now it must have grown to 8-10million people...... Can you also give proofs to show that Nairobi controls 40% of Kenya's wealth? As big and powerful as Lagos state is, it only controls abt 20% of Nigeria's wealth. |
mtis:Why do you Kenyans like embarrassing yourselves by telling obvious lies? See your entertainers protesting against Naija music domination of your radios and you are saying only house maids care? http://pulse.ng/buzz/kenya-musicians-protest-domination-of-nigerian-music-on-radio-id4058330.html Jumia is dominating kenya's online market and what is kilimalli and how much are they worth? Nigeria's Konga will soon penetrate Kenya too. We taught you guys online marketting ![]() Everyone knows that Nakumatt belongs to Indian Atul Shah and family, who the hell is Mawu? The question was for me to list Nigerian inventions affecting Kenya, as there is no single Kenyan or East African invention affecting the life of the everyday Nigerian or West African. Nigerian churches are Nigerian inventions and many Kenyans take their spiritual order directly from Lagos. ![]() |
Jay254:I warned you but you wouldn't listen. Watch the confession and deliverance of a kenyan woman in a Nigerian church below, this is just few among the numerous cases in different Nigerian churches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2sFiQHjMns Here is Dangote and the commotion and frustration he is causing to his competitors in the East African cement market. It's obvious you don't know what is happening in your country. Can't u see that other Kenyans did not bother to argue? http://www.nation.co.ke/business/Dangote-shakes-Kenya-s-cement-market-with-Ethiopia-imports/996-3362520-xv76i5z/ http://www.theeastafrican.co.ke/business/Dangote-low-cement-prices-upset-East-African-firms-/2560-3386844-ktl9o3/index.html Go and read about Jumia very well. Tunde kehinde and Raphael Afedor are the co-CEOs of Jumia and they were the ones who brought it to Lagos Africa and spread it around Africa, they bought the shares from an older Berlin based rocket internet stores and established it in Africa with the name Jumia. |
arinzeejikonye:Kaduna and Kano are very beautiful and wealthy northern cities. There are not just enough pics of these places online or available if not many here would be wowed. Kaduna infrastructures can challenge PH and if not for religious crisis that has affected the city, it would have been the 3rd/4th richest Nigerian city After Lagos, PH and maybe Kano. Kaduna even has better infrastructures than Kano. Jos, Zaria and Maiduguri come next in the rank of Northern cities. They are quite beautiful too. |
DonnieTheGreat:Hahaha, very true, just like this Kenyan girlfriend of Sean Tizzle that has rejected Kenyan identity and is now claiming Naija. ![]()

mtis:I am talking about Nairobi metropolitan/urban area. Lagos metropolitan area has an estimated 21 million people, but Lagos city proper has far less than this. |
Nowenuse:Nairobi is nothing but an embarrasment! Nairobi metropolitan area was about 6.5 million people since 2009, which means that by now, it should have grown to 8 million people or more. PLS KENYANS SHOULD TELL US THE GDP OF THIS LARGE URBAN AREA OF almost 10 million people. As for those fools telling us lies that Nairobi slum dwellers are less than 1 million people, they should come and explain to us why Nairobi's GDP per capital is so low (lower than the national average of Kenya) despite the city being Kenya's financial centre! This has clearly shown to the world, the largeness of the poor slum dwelling population of Nairobi who obviously contribute nothing to the GDP of the city, thereby lowering the per capital income of the city (compared to the overall national per capital income). It's now official that the slum dwellers of Nairobi outnumber the normal city dwellers. J-E-S-U-S! What a disaster of a so called capital city! https://asokoinsight.com/news/nairobi-ranked-8th-on-world-bank-list-of-rich-poor-counties-kenya @TayserMahiri, PissedYagami, Hbuyosh, Muafrika2, MtuMsuper, Jay254

Hbuyosh:Nakumatt is the richest and most influential retail market in Kenya and it is controlled by an Indian family. Dangote's cement is dominating East African cement market and you are asking me to mention one? Nigeria's Jumia is now the only and largest online market in Kenya and u are asking me thrash? Do you think we don't know that Kenyan entertainers protested due to Nigerian music domination of the Kenyan music industry? Or you want me to post it here? Khaligraph Jones even sang a song about this bitter trend in Kenya. Do you know how many Kenyans are members of Nigerian churches? Not to talk of Kenyans who travel all the way to Nigeria just to see Nigerian pastors and get delivered? These are just among few, dare me to prove any of this and i will embarass you here with more than you bargained for. |
PissedYagami:That is why it is called a slum. The patterns do not follow normal housing classifications. Ok, u have showed us Kibera, there are many dozen others. Show us the others or should we help you? You can imagine a capital city (Nairobi) attracting millions of NGOs and foreign aids to it's slums and some fools expect us to believe that only 500k live in Nairobi slums? (the most numerous and largest in Africa)? Pls, tell the story to the birds as i said. Were u not the one i challenged to say the GDP per capital of Nairobi? Or do u want me to do it myself and embarass you guys? Nairobi is 5 times smaller than Lagos, yet Lagos has only 1 slum (which is less than 1% of the population), while half of Nairobi's land mass and majority of it's population live in the dozens of slums in the small city. You can imagine that Abuja municipality alone (built just yesterday is bigger than the entire Nairobi). What a shame! Imagine that Kibera is classified as a slum of many slums. It is a convergence of many slums into one. Jesus! |
Maduawuchukwu:Don't mind fanficgirl. She is so intent on pleasing other Africans in the name of appearing neutral. |
Shaytun:Leave the fools alone. Nigerians will soon take over Kenya's economy. Nigeria's Jumia is now the largest online market in Kenya......ooops, i mean only and largest online market in Kenya, cos Kenyans never knew anything like online markets till we came there. Kenyans boast about their malls controlled by Indians, while Nigerians have since advanced to the level of online markets where we get goods delivered to our door steps. ![]() I have asked these foolish Kenyans times without number to show me how any Kenyan invention has affected the life of the average Nigerian or West African, but they were dumb! All they could mention was Mpesa (which is failing in many countries and does not even have up to 1% membership of the west African market). Dangote is now dominating the East African cement markets while the fools are busy typing here insulting us and making SEUN OSEWA (a Nigerian) richer! ![]() |
PissedYagami:Kibera alone has 3 million people, what about the other dozens? Pls, tell that to the birds. Okay, let's settle it this way. What is the total GDP of Nairobi? Then we divide it by the 6 million people of Nairobi. If the GDP per capital is below or equal the national average, then it's obvious that half of Nairobi's population live in slums and poverty, but if it is far above the national average, (just like Lagos is far above Nigeria's average), then we know that the poor slum dwellers are not so numerous. Are you up for this challenge?? |
forgiveness:Don't mind the foolish Kenyans. Nigeria has dozens of cities that are all developing at the same time, while the Kenyan govt spends all their money in developing Nairobi and Mombasa alone and yet these cities still have the largest slums in Africa. I can't imagine if the entire Nigeria has spent all our time building only Lagos and Abuja, by now, both cities would have been competing with Tokyo and New york. |
PissedYagami:And world bank is kidding too? We have the problem yet we are still far richer than you slum dwellers. I guess we should vote in the Kenyattas who are better leaders as they own half of Kenya. They have turned Kenya to their family heritage. Uhuru Kenyatta's wife or girlfriend will be your next president. |
PissedYagami:What abt Mathare, Mukuru kwa njenga, kiambu, korogocho and the gigantic and award winning kibera and the others? Are they not getting any trains? Dont tell me that the 4 million slum dwellers of nairobi do not matter!
|
TayserMahiri:Oga, nor be for mouth! Should we go on a pic challenge? |
PissedYagami:Well, anyone can write any reports. Dare me and let's go to pictoral proofs and let me show you the lowest income areas of Lagos state! And then you tell me what it looks like! If these places look like Kibera and Mathare without toilets. Should we go on? If you have the liver. |
PissedYagami:Hahahaha ![]() Is this all you can come up with? And with all these, Nigerian economy is still growing? We came out of recession even with the low oil prices. Imagine what would happen in oil prices increase? But we are no longer depending on that and are now working on industrialization and agricultural revolution. I can see that you guys are desperate to look for people to share slum status with Kenya, but hell NO! Naijans dont do slums, we live in houses, and what house does not have toilet facilities? Keep deluding yourself. People who live in Kibera (Africa's largest slum) are talking about Nigerians (people who live in houses) defecating in the open. Well, anything that makes you sleep better at night! ![]() |
TayserMahiri:Then tell your people to stop coming to Nigerian churches for deliverance and Tell your women to stop sucking Naija diicks! ![]() |
PissedYagami:Hahaha, did i read this in a blog? See your Kenyan sister denying Kenyan identity and claiming 9ja, just because she has tasted a naija diick ![]() U think Naija guys are your mates abi?
|
PissedYagami:Slums are not something anyone can hide. Why did we not hide Makoko? Check out this music by Nigerian Tekno RARA, this song featured Makoko slum and that song is among the top hits in Naija right now. So, saying we hide slums is just a very foolish saying. We don't have them. The WORLD BANK said only 33% of Nigerians live in poverty (since 2014) and you are here saying rubbish! https://www.nairaland.com/1824769/world-bank-cuts-nigerias-poverty |
DonnieTheGreat:Hahahahahaha. South African girls go insane and loose themselves at the sight of a naija guy! Just like Kenyan girls too and most other African women. The fantasize and dream abt Naija guys i tell yu! ![]() |
Shaytun:OMG! Why is Jacob Zuma bowing before that Chinese man? What a show of inferiority! Why are these zulus humiliating us the blacks like this? It's obvious that most black south africans still worship white skin just like Kenyans. |
PissedYagami:Your link is rubbish. I can show you dozens of pics of kibera, mathare, mukuru, korogocho and the other dozens of slums in Nairobi. Can u pls give us an aerial pic of any slum in Lagos (aside Makoko)? Hell no there is none. Go and ask your fellow Kenyan TayserMahiri, we have been through this battle before, and when i proved to him here that there was no other slum in Lagos apart from Makoko, he was so ashamed of himself and could not come online for over a week. because he tried his best and probably googled his life away to prove the existence of slums in Lagos, but couldn't. If you want that the same show of shame, dare me or forever keep shut. Slum is not a Nigerian culture, we are proud people and won't do that shit. Makoko only managed to survive because it wad originally a fishing village but before we knew it, immigrants from Benin republic flooded the place and made it what it was. About half of Makoko has already been demolished and very soo, all of it. |
uzzyfire:Not just the richest person! The richest persons (plural), check the top 3, top 10 or even top 50 richest in SA, hatdly will you find blacks in the list. |
PissedYagami:Who gave Lagos that name? Kenyatta? The megacity of slums is still the 5th largest economy in Africa and is richer than your entire country, what a shame! Show me the slums in Lagos apart from Makoko, then anyone will take you serious, or keep shut! |
PissedYagami:Pls stop this joke. Nigeria has only one slum (Makoko), so slums are not everywhere pls. Slums are Kenya's heritage. |
Muafrika2:Yes, he is correct and wrong at the same time. The fulanis are spread all over west and central africa even up to Southern parts of North-Africa, but they never fail to unite themselves for terrorist activities. |
iblawi:You really have a point though. |
Muafrika2:Another problem we are having is that most Southern Nigerians think these Nigèriens are Core-northern Nigerians. The average Southerner can hardly differentiate them. I can easily differentiate them because my homeland is closer to the core north and i speak Hausa quite well, so i can tell by the dialectal differences and accents. Even at that, there are sometimes i myself may fail to be able to differentiate them, because the northerly you go, the deeper the Hausa dialects become till you get to the boundary areas where both the Nigerians and Nigèriens speak the same dialects with same accents. Now, Core- northerners have a thwarted mentality which they feel the more their numbers or population, the more they keep winning national elections and retaining power in Nigeria. And since they and these people have the same religion, cultures and languages, core-northern Nigerians don't mind adding these Nigèriens to their populations. I hope you guys can now see the magnitude of troubles besetting Nigeria? |
Muafrika2:Niger republic is not officially a failed state and neither is it a war torn nation. So there is really no way refugee camps can be created for them in Nigeria. I just don't understand that country, their poverty is as worse or even worse than war torn nations but they are politically stable. Nigeriens were actually a victim of french colonialism, the stupid french colonialists created a large French west Africa and almost everything about the colonial govt was centred in far away Dakar (Senegal). This is why Senegalese, Ivorians and Guineens who were closer to Dakar were far more educated, progressive and westernized compared to Nigeriens, Malians, Togolese and Beninoise who were farther away from Dakar. Now, colonial neglect coupled with this backward Islamic culture is no wonder they are the poorest politically stable nation in the world. These are the more reasons why Africans need to come together and help each other. We are all victims of wrong colonial policies. Some of us greater victims and some lesser victims. |
