Eifeh: not in enugu my home town name Aninri so enugu called it Nri not NniYeah, not all parts call it "nni". |
odumchi: O bu gini bu nke a? O bu maka I jere ala Bekee?Ala bekee gini...And here I was even thinking I was being nice. I have been trying to control myself here. |
ogugua88: Aww, sorry. I hate how some people have to work on holidays, especially Christmas. The world should stop that day lol. Hmm, I hope you don't mind turkey and ham, because that's what we have lol.Enyena onwe gi nsogbu= Don't bother yourself. Mana anaro m' elikwa anu ezu=but I don't eat pork. Ehen,Olisa and Obasi also means Chukwu. |
Eze Promoe: Well done - ndewoI don't know if you are refering to my handle but it doesn't mean food. The Nri on my handle is pronounced differently from how Imo/Abia pronounce theirs, which means food. Anambra/Enugu/Delta call food "nni". |
There is an Igbo adage that's says "agwa bu mma nwanyi",which means good behavior is the beauty of a woman. I don't know if that answers ur quetion. |

Antivirus92: When will you stop this your rubbish of igbo diversity? You write history of igbo communities ,yet you don't know and don't want to know the history of the igbos forming those communities! My sentiments exactly; most of these material were pulled pulled from Wikipaedia. The southern Anambra and northern Igbo is where the Nri influence and Isu habitants met. If you access the language structure of the southern Anambrarians you will instantly learn they speak about 60% Anambra Igbo and about 40% Isu Igbo. The question is are they \NriAnambrarians or Isu\Imo ?? We know they have both Isu and Nri elements but what do you call them ?? They are definitelly not Isu nor Nri: |
What does "Ani-Nri" mean?? Are you guys Nri settlers? Is it a name of a town? |
I got you ofenmanus on the balls...lol |
I was an Obi praise singer until I drove into Anambra State and almost lost my shock absorbers on Anambra roads.. Governor Obi is a federal class person.. For change, I will throw my weight behind a Prof. Charles Soludo Government..
You will later appreciate his good works. Say I told you so. |
OCTAVO: I see it as a silly attitude when men refuse to eat just because they have a little misunderstaning with their wives. They purnish their stomach because of unnecessary pride. So,you can't make up with your husband after a quarell and beg him to come eat...which kin wife you be?? Abeg loosen up,jare. |
toshmann: merry xmas ndi nkemI will advice you to hold tight to ur day job...lol |
