Lol!
This aint hope but reality!
The same ibo cried out genocide and starvation the moment Nigeria trapped them in their beloved landlocked biafra country during the civil war! Same would repeat itself!
By the way, those countries mentioned are not inside another country like biafra would be! The only country that could be compared to your phantom biafra is Lesotho, a country inside South Africa!
This totally shows how primitive and ignorant you are....Nigga, This isn't 1967 when Britain Russia and Egypt were thirsty for the oil in Niger Delta.....A gallon of fuel is less than one dollar in the USA. You have absolutely nothing to offer the world. Wake up. By the way,who is going into war with you ? And I bet you think if Biafra goes south south will willing chose to remain with the north....negodu atulu out! You actually think Ogoni ,AkwaCross will chose to be in Nigeria?? cheesy cheesy

The diffrence btw the aforementioned countries & biafra is clear

You will be surrounded by enemies..
This is your wish...That even if they secede may there be friction between them and their neighbors so that they may not prosper. What a demented and wicked soul! May you never see the light of God in your life. What makes you our neighbors will turn their back on us and refuse to go into trade and diplomatic agreement with us? Do you think they are fools....Even if they try it they will lose at the long run...So many things will stand against them.

You people are just dying in jealousy because you lack the spirit of republicans and freedom in the Igbo man.....You hate that we don't worship and bow before any man like you all....It makes you feel inferior....Take Niger Delta and all the rest of your slaves in southsouth and let Ndigbo be. Let us be our self for once!! Leave us alone you children of demons!

Obiano Fulfills another Election promise, Revives Academicals

The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has fulfilled yet another election promise made as part of his youth development programme with the Flag-off of the 2015 Anambra U-17 Academicals Governor’s Cup Competition.

The Flag-off of the football competition involving seventy girls’ teams and eighty boys teams from different secondary schools across the state was performed by the governor Saturday at the St Charles special college Onitsha playground, with a kick-off in the match between Washington Grammer School, Onitsha and Dennis Memorial Grammer School, (DMGS)Onitsha.

Addressing the people, Governor Obiano said that his administration is reviving the soccer academicals as an annual competition aimed at developing the youths at the secondary school level across the state. He underscored the importance of sports as a vehicle for putting the students in the right frame of mind for their studies, since it is said that “a healthy body is in a healthy mind.”

According to Obiano, “The academicals used to be a grooming ground where most of Nigeria's valuable players were produced in the past. As you can see, I am here with the former Nigerian goal keeper, Mr. Emmanuel Okala who once played for Metropolitan College Onitsha before moving-up to excel at the national and international level. The plan is to ensure that Anambra will continue to be on top in sports in Nigeria and Africa.”

Governor Obiano stated that at the end of the tournament
the overall winning school will go home with a cash price of four million naira.

Earlier, Commissioner for Youths and Sports Ogbuefi Tony Nnacheta said that the academicals was revived in line with the mandate of the governor to make sure the state excel in sports. He explained that the competition is featuring about two hundred football matches from where a school champion and a lot of talented youths in soccer will emerge.

Also speaking, the member representing Onitsha North -1 in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Barrister Chugbo Enwezor appreciated Governor Obiano for his efforts in reviving school sports which he said will go far in gingering the young ones and the people of the state.

The very entertaining football match which saw Washington Grammar School beat the DMGS team by two goals to one was witnessed by many football enthusiast comprising of members of the state Executive Council and secondary students from competing schools.

Fantastic developments from the schools to the mall and the roads....We are making great progress in Anambra and it will only take time before we establish our state as the most developed, and that is if it isn't already the most developed state in the federation. I am very impressed especially with the schools, parks and the mall, infact I am impressed with everything and the world class hospitals.

This is how to reason and read well so you can respond responsibly: A brief review of the sequence of discussions
that culminated in the handover of schools
and which are verifiable will expose these liars
of Government House, Awka. Governor Chris
Ngige’s Commissioner for Education, Prof.
Leonard Muoghalu was directed by him to
liaise with the religious organizations on the
handover of some mission schools back to
their rightful owners to help arrest the
indiscipline in schools and reverse the falling
standard of education. See letter dated 6th
January 2004 and titled Hand Back of Schools
to Voluntary Agencies which was signed by
the then Commissioner for Education.
Many meetings were held at the
Commissioner for Education’s Office between
February 2004 and September 2005. These
meetings were attended by:
1. His Grace Most Revd. Maxwell Anikwenwa
– Arch. Bishop of Province II Anglican
Communion & Bishop of Awka.
2. His Grace Most Revd. Dr. Valerian Okeke –
Arch. Bishop of Onitsha Arch. Diocese ably
represented by Very Revd. Fr.. Anosike –
Vicar Gen. of Onitsha Arch. Diocese.
3. His Lordship Most Revd. Dr. Simon A.
Okafor – Catholic Bishop of Awka
4. His Lordship Most Revd. Ken Sandy Okeke
– Bishop on The Niger .
5. His Lordship Most Revd. Dr. Hillary Okeke
– Catholic Bishop of Nnewi who attended the
first meeting and appointed Msgr. Orakwe &
Msgr. Adigwe to represent him in subsequent
meetings.
6. National and State officers of NUT
7. The Permanent Secretary and some
Directors of the Ministry of Education were
also in attendance.
After many meetings, it was agreed that the
schools be handed over and it was so
announced by the Government of Dr. Chris
Ngige to the people of Anambra State and
publicized in the mass media. A formal hand
over ceremony was performed by His
Excellency the then Governor of \Anambra
State Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige OON (Onwa)
on Thursday the 15th September, 2005. The
handover elicited a negative reaction from a
few misguided members of the NUT who
demonstrated at the State Secretariat against
the handover but were informed by
government that the handover was in the
interest of Anambra State and therefore final
and irreversible.
A memorandum of understanding was drawn
up and signed by accredited representatives
of The Anglican Church, The Catholic church,
The Nigerian Union of Teachers, other stake
holders and the government of Anambra State
then under the able charge of Dr. Chris
Nwabueze Ngige OON (Onwa) as the
Executive Governor.
If all these events were witnessed by the
citizenry and the Government of Mr. Peter Obi
wants the public to believe the opposite then
something is wrong with his administration.
Anambrarians are asking why repudiate the
good works performed by a man who risked
his own life to liberate his people from the
shackles of financial servitude. We all know
that Gov. Peter Obi is suffering from
NGIGEPHOBIA a disease that makes him not
only blind to anything good from Dr. Chris
Ngige’s Administration but also to appropriate
the good works which he cannot repudiate.
I bet you think you are dealing with a typical Nigerian who doesn't know there left from their right. An article without source ? How come Ngige never come out to claim he handed schools to the missions? How come he didn't use it as a campaign strategy ?
A loser you are and will always be and your name will never be remembered for anything good!

History of Lagos State

Prior to the Portuguese name of Lagos being adopted, Lagos was originally called Eko, which stems from either Oko (Yoruba: "cassava farm"wink or Eko ("war camp"wink, by its Bini conquerors. History has it that the Oba of Bini sent various trade expeditions to Ghana where spices were traded and one of his traders complained about the way she was being treated by the Awori's. The Oba of Bini then sent a trade expedition by sea. Ironically, the leader of the expedition arrived in the evening at a time when the people who were predominantly fishermen were either wading into the water or getting into their boats to gather their catch. He declined to engage them further and returned to what is now called Benin City where he reported to the Oba of Bini that they were attacked. This prompted the Oba of Bini to constitute a war expedition led by Ado, a Bini Prince to go to Lagos and demand an explanation. This was over 650 years ago. However, on getting there, they were well received. The people were so enamored with Ado they asked him to stay and lead them. He agreed on the condition that they surrendered their sovereignty to the Oba of Bini to which they agreed. The Oba of Bini was told this and he gave his permission for the expedition to remain. The Oba of Bini later sent some of his chiefs including the Eletu Odibo, Obanikoro and others to assist Ado in the running of Eko. Till today, the Oba of Lagos is the head of all the Kings in Lagos State and his status is different from other Oba's most of whom were later given back their crowns and staff of office only within the last 40 years and have various classifications. Suffice it to state that those who got their crowns back were the original land owners. These were Olofin's children. Moreover, modern day Lagosians have so intermingled that no single tribe or people can claim it even though the predominant language is Yoruba. The present day Lagos state has a higher percent of this sub-group who allegedly migrated to the area from Isheri along the Ogun river

I don't think its just nomenclature that is delaying it. It may be federal government bureaucracy. But what I know from a cousin who is actually a medical student at NAUTH-Nnewi, that the project is almost ready but the federal government is holding them from taking off from permsite.

The hospital lies between Nnewi and Ozubulu, there is no way it will bear NAUTH-Ozubulu because it originated from NAUTH-Nnewi, more especially when the said project is on the boundary of both towns. Besides Nnewi as a name is far more popular than Ozubulu.
Just because it originated from Nnewi doesnt mean Jack. If the main site is in Ozubulu it should be named accordingly. How can you build something in Umuoji and put Nkpor on the name....It doesn't even make sense. In fact ,i don't even wanna believe it's the reason for the delayed relocation.

A yoruba friend asked me: under what conditions would you support One Nigeria and let go of the Biafra struggle.

Here was my response:

1. Close down Lagos ports and Open up PH, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri.
2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports...only local or minimal connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and PH to international flights...direct and major connecting flights.
3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.
4. All federal governments agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH and Calabar. CBN, NNPC,e.t.c shall and must relocate to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
6. If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented, we can try one Nigeria and let's see if you Hausas and Yorubas will like it for a month. Meaning, Yorubas and Hausas needing to get visas shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, e.t.c.

The yoruba friend replied: you can't be serious, this is wickedness. I said really? Don't you think Biafrans have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs? He was quiet for a few seconds and said: wow, you are right but it never occurred to me. I said, that's the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting love it and would love to maintain the status quo.
Best post so far since the Biafran spring.

Ikeke-idi, I knew it. A lot of these Yoruba chics secretly covet Igbo nyggahs, while Igbo nyggahs also secretly covet Yoruba chics, hence on most Biafran threads, you'd see a lot of Yoruba chics, even the ones that seldom post, telling Igbos not to leave Nigeria and are always the biggest proponents of one Nigeria - while Igbo nyggahs always allude to how Yoruba chics have nice bodies, but they're ugly. Somewhat reminiscent of how white guys and black women secretly covet each other but act like they don't get along in public. grin

However, with Yoruba nyggahs and Igbo chics - it's open and both desire each other in the open. Yoruba nyggahs will snipe anything under the skirt, regardless of the nationality/ethnicity. Shyte, a Yoruba nyggah would go to Biafra, if it becomes a country in "Neverland" and snipe all the Igbo chics there with pride. Ethnicity/nationality is the last thing on a Yoruba nyggah's mind and the typical Yoruba guy doesn't discriminate. Shyte, the only black guys I have seen from around the way married to Chinese, Filipinos, and full Indians (I've got an Igbo friend who has a baby with some half Indian chic - half-Indian and half-white) are Yoruba guys. If pygmies weren't extinct and they look nice - a Yoruba nyggah would snipe them. grin
There is no good reason for this sort of ignorance!!
Nigga, why are you always pulling sshit off your azz like a rretard.
An common ibadan village drunk is more intelligent than your ddumb azz.

Nobody is coveting anybody, you hook with what you like and is available to you whether Igbo ,Hausa or Yoruba. Igbo chics and guys don't go around fantasizing about Yoruba women and men. It's all in your mind because you have a warped mindset clogged with senseless tribal sentiments. One of my guy is married to a Yoruba chic who is by the way a nice person but before that he mostly dated Igbo chics. And one thing is common with these Igbo women that marry Yoruba guys, 99.9% of them grew up in lagos which make them available to the Yoruba guys to see but their male counterparts rarely marry Yoruba women.
Now,I am not saying Yoruba girls are not desirable but it's a common knowledge in Lagos that Igbo girls are very pretty. I know because I have been around your people for more that ten years. A lot of us have dated Yoruba women in our early twenties but it's not our ideal marriage partner. Most Igbo guys who grew up in Lagos will say the same but a Yoruba guy won't mind to wife Igbo chic in a heartbeat which is good because we have more women than men.

Our dissolve to stay with our women doesn't mean we are not open minded but we prefer our women because they are beautiful, which Yoruba guys can attest to. Also our marriages survives because of the the kind of women we breed in Igbo land.
