CohenJane: Olodo. So, Peter Obi was in Gov in 1999 when Lagos was returning Missionary Schools. Anyway, may be you are just an SSS3 kid that has access to the internet. So, let me forgive you my boy. But next time, cross check your fact before you comment, ok? Good night, O ya go and sleep. Mumy is calling you.Look at this monkey! Who are you calling Olodo and a kid...I don't blame you. |
van bonattel: Name the places obi created employment?Innoson motors. Sabmiller brewery. Onitsha river port. Orient refinery. Orange drugs. The rice mill he took from the feds. The construction of roads to the farming communities around Anam areas who used to use canoes to bring out their farm produce. The first and second Onitsha business center. The new general hospital in Awka. These are just the few I can remember now...and also a south african company is about to re-awake the old Onicha Bottling company...this alone can create about 500 jobs....welu ile gi guo eze gi onu! |

Abagworo: There was a mistake on the currency I believe. I've come to realize that many Governors I often despised have done marvelously well when compared with resources at their disposal. After reading that Akwa-Ibom thread and realizing that most States were getting mere 2.6billion monthly while Lagos, Delta, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa were getting over 12billion. It is safe to commend Peter Obi especially and T.A. Orji for being able to Govern very difficult States with heavy challenges and without borrowing. This is the Abagworo I yearn for; We must not fail to understand that Anambra prior to the coming of Obi has no goverment fabric, whatsoever. He had to start from absolutely nothing and today Anambra is financially better off that most states created before her. Peter Obi has brought a lot of transformation to the state. Today,we have commisioners quaters, goverment secretariat, judges quaters and all the missing components of a serious goverment. |

Everybody who know the alafin knows he bleaches....african king ! ........smh and bumps it.. |
Arochukwu has brought nothing but disgrace, shame and curses to Igbo land; They and their Isu brethrens introduced the ugly and inhuman trade known as "slave trade"....They brought tears, pains and cries in the homes of their fellow Igbo as they kidnap, maim and destroy anything on their way from getting what they want. Today,Isu is a history....No culture nor identity. Aro on the other hand has been reduced to nothing...If it wasn't for Eri,Nri and their decendants the Igbo will be lost. |
Eze,I'm sorry came off like that but truth is that Aro were mixed with Akpa and Ibibio.....Does that make them pure blood?? Answer is NO! This single fact alone disqualifies Odumchi from even contesting...I will speak nothing but the truth...Odumchi himself knows that they aren't pure Igbo and is supposed to take a back seat! |
mapet: Are both schools in Imo StateI believe both schools are in Onicha....Did you even read the article ?? |
This is to wish the 2013 Eze and Eze Nwanyi gburugburu of NL a happy new year. May I recommend that you increase your visibility and participation in the politics section and give the appropriate face to Ndiigbo and her causes. Your leadership is needed as some wayward folks will soon control the agenda, if you do not. Dalu o.
I'm laughing at Odumchi becoming an Eze-Igbo.....To be honest,I rarely consider Aros pure Igbo! Odumchi isn't qualified to lead the Igbo that I sprunged from...Dude is confused and hasn't done sh..it yet. I really miss Onlytruth with his wits and intelligence. Odumchi will fail as Eze-Igbo! All of a sudden somebody who is barely Igbo was forced on the pure Igbo....Nonsense...He won't achieve sh..it! Mark my words! |
naptu2: The Lagos State Government returned seized missionary schools back to their original owners in 2001 (eg Methodist Boys High School, Igbobi College, St Gregory's College, St Finbarrs College, Our Lady of Apostles, Ansarul-deen School, etc). That's the first time I'm hearing this; Given the fact that Lagos has the funds to transform their schools I would expect them to churn out excellent students year in year out. Peter Obi did not just return all the missionary schools but he renovated and equiped every single one of them which provided the means for students to live in boarding school once again and this will enable them to focuse more on their studies. There has been a tremendous improvements in the performances of Anambra students at the Waec exams and this is just the beginning will are aiming for the orbit! Omanbala Obodo nyelu Igbo onu fa ji aba nba! |
donsax: Why MISS Sandra Anazor from Anambra State going to university ibadan to study medicine? Why not stay at eastern corrupt universities? I rep south west universities. They are the best!!!What about ppl from sw that school in se......ppl like you is the reason yoruba ppl get cursed out every single day here. You are both IGNORANT and GULLIBLE..MAKAKWU! |
I pity you all here crying about how nobody helped when he was in the hospital; Let me tell you blockheads something you should hold in mind......Nobody really care what you are going through because they also have their own problems and they owe you not a danm thing! There was a time I was having some serious financial problems but none of my friends came to my rescue. I wheathered it all by myself with no single help in a country where I have no single famiily member. Guys, stop expecting people to give you help because really they owe you nathing...suck is up life is bitter and painful! |
ijebabe: I forgot her name, im so ashamed of myself. I'll edit that post later. Thanks. How can you forget the name of my sugar mama....I love that chic die and I know her family. |
Igbo gadi: Is good to hear that peter Obi tarred the major roads in Anambra, but isn’t what he was elected to do at the first place? One of the most important question to ask him is how many job has his administration has created? In general this how we should rate our governors, Roads, water and electricity are the basic things government should provide to is citizen.Ofcourse, that's his job and he is doing it with all humility but I will defend the man when someone tries to discredit his effort and create a bad image of him. |
Onlytruth: I have always been under the impression that Anambra people are not too much hung up on "jobs". What we have always wanted or needed are GOOD ROADS AND ELECTRICITY.Odogwu Anaedo, otekwaana aka ooo....Well,ama m na udo di. On a serious note: Only a deceitful and a lying person will after studying Obi's groundbreaking performances open his mouth and criticize him. For goodness sake,we have to understand that this man started from scratch to something we can actually be proud of. Like I said before, you have to count one before two...we need good roads, law and order, good schools with vibrant and dedicated teachers, comprehensive water schemes, enabling environment for business to flourish like farming and small scale industries and all these are what Gov. Peter Obi has been trying to give to the Anambrarians. I,Odenigbo Aroli can never lie against a good man nor join parties to pull him down...Olisa ekwekwana....eziokwu bu ndu! |
Asha80,I'm telling you right now that the idea came from Obi and people followed suit when they saw the gains. |
ak47mann: peter is trying but he need to do moreNwanne, where was Anambra before Obi came in? Compare the old Anambra with what we have now and tell yourself the truth. There is nothing like "he is trying".....Peter Obi is an Omanbala Icon. |
Some pictures would be nice. Anambra isn't a state were simply putting roads in will qualify. It's the economic nerve center of the southeast and south south, in reality it should look like a world capital because the combination of these two regions makes from a HUGH nation! This is where all of us get our supplies and products and where economic activity is king, roads aren't enough, especially if they're below world standards Onitsha isn't a joke and should no longer be treated as one, it has the potential to rival Lagos in Africa, unmarked roads won't do the job.
Let me tell you something you lots like to ignore....That Anambra is the comercial nerve center of the se doesn't mean there was a goverment presence there....Enugu was the state capital during the old Anambra state.....Before Peter Obi came to seat there was literaly no goverment presence in our state,no city planning or whatsoever! Anambra was ran and developed by bunch of not so educated Anambrarians. There was no road,no goverment lodge,no goverment secretariat,no law and order....Anambra was created out of the old Anambra and all the foundation that has been laid down all went to Enugu, while they fired all goverment workers of Anambra origin. After that we had some military administrators and Emeka Ezeife who couldn't sit down before they were removed. Anambra was forsaken, abandoned and dragged through the mud during the term of Ngige who constructed few roads and some ignorant ppl sang praises of him. Now fastforward six or seven yrs later; Today not only did Obi tarred the major roads in Anambra but he has connected all Anambra towns by road which has brought swift rulal development. Obi has reshaped the face of Anambra schools which has brought improved performances from students at waec and has also made an Anambrarian to emerge the best student at waec exams. The health system is not left out either; he has reconstructed most hospitals and built new ones.....I swear to God,if we should compare this man to any governor and list how much the get, what and how they used it you will agree with me that Obi is a visionary leader. |
afam4eva: You can't say a governor is working after alluding that it's mainly roads that he has built and those roads are roads connecting the country side. You are sad and you will remain sad! |
Now I'm f.ucking pissed...All of you who are here discrediting the man who has brought groudbreaking development in Anambra are bunch of "never do well" eediots! I will be back, dumbos. |
asha 80: he is not the only one that did that.Ogun,Edo,Delta,Enugu and others did so too.it is just that there seemed to be higher concetration of then mission schools in the present day geogarphical anambra area. But they did so after Peter Obi started it. Basicly, the learned from him. |
Front page kia kia. My Omanbala is the greatest...The enemies of Peter Obi and Omanbala must be humbled....Odenigbo Aroli. |
wesley80: I learnt he also tweeted another one in Igbo directed at you, it read; I bu onye nzuzu!Lmao...falls from chair and bumps head...chai! |
