Mfon Udoh is one of the most underrated players in Nigerian football and I hope he gets a chance with the Super Eagles.

Every time I watch him play, I am impressed with his style. His touch, grace and skill.

I still remember his combinations with Emem Eduok at Uyo when our home based team played Ghana U23
.

Mfon Udoh,a lethal striker with the record of most goals ever scored in a league season. Never really seen him play but I hope he gets his chances once more to prove himself. He is currently the highest goal scorer in the Caf Champions league play-offs and scored a hat trick on Sunday against Etoil du Sahel of Tunisia.

I hope the Elephants qualifies for the money spinning group stage so the club can have access to good funding.
I reminisce when Enyimba was the Enyimba of Africa, winning the Champions league back to back.
I miss the conquering Enyimba fc squad made up of Arugo monkey(Chijioke Ejiogu),Romanus Orjinta...RIP,the mesmerising midfield hero Muri Ogunbiyi, the athletic and hardworking Onyekachi Okonkwo pairing Ogunbiyi in the midfield, the bullish Ekene Ezenwa,David Tyakavse, the Ghanaian Joetex Frimpong,Ndidi Anumudu,Ajibade Omolade, one eyed Ogbonna Okenmiri, Obinna Nwaneri,Yusuf Mohamed and Emeka Nwanna..aka Ayaya. Enyimba had the best legs in the league as of then and the players were financially comfortable.
I thought the club was gonna grow bigger from there but just like everything about nigeria management ability is poorer than a church rat. Nigeria really sucks!

Ridiculous post. How can you call Nigerians losers? It takes time to grow. The EPL still needs foreign talents to keep their League lucrative. The English talents need foreign money to invest in their leagues.

I guess we should call them losers.

This is about young Nigerians making the best of their talents with the little opportunities they have.

Should we call people like Iheanacho, Success, Ndidi, Nwakali, Madu etc who made something despite the challenge losers?

What of the English FA that dropped Iwobi and did not give him a chance in the senior age grade sides, (hint of discrimination) I guess we should call them losers.

Gareth Southgate did not play Rashford in the U21 because he said he did not want pressure on Rashford.

Pressure on a boy who scored against Man Utd.

Every country have their challenges. So calling Nigerians losers is ridiculous.

You misunderstood my point. was referring to the English born Nigerians like Dele Alli,Chuba Akpom and co. whom your country didn't know existed until they became popular. Your country didn't invest a kobo in their development and now you want them to switch and play for Nigeria.

I see how you Nigerians like to reap where you didn't sow. After these white people have done nurturing players and giving them the platform and opportunity to excel and here comes the wretched Nigerians begging for allegiance... You Nigerians make me sick...look at our league, academies and general development of football!! Fat bellied eidiots running the nff, hiring and firing coaches as it pleases them at the nations detriment. Now you want to steal players you didn't groom. If I were England I will make sure you don't even get the worst players groomed in their country. Iweobi was a big mistake for England and I bet you they will never let such thing happen again. Fffuucking losers!

I doubt some of the pictures are of Yoruba people esp The female graduates of Ibadan and the two women tying two george wrappers with a simple blouse. It's always good to verify and vet pictures before posting, unless the photographer said otherwise, those pictures i pointed out are not Yoruba.
On beauty,African magic Yoruba can be used as a standard for measuring beauty of Yoruba women. The fact is that most of the pretty looking women are mixed down the line or are from a different ethnic group,e.g :
Doris simeon - Edo
Helen Paul - Edo
Fathia Balogun - Delta
Iyabo Ojo - Yoruba/Igbo
Rachel Oniga - Delta
Mercy Aigbe - Edo
Toyin Aimakhu - Edo.
It is interesting how they come up to tell us they are not Yoruba or are mixed.
That leaves you with the rest and we know themsmiley.

In the name of our ancestors leave these people alone and call them out when it's necessary. For now,it's not necessary. Believe it,the white man group all of you in the same category.....The black man is so ffuucking sttuppid!

Traditional values gone pftt!

Another ignorant monkey. Igbo women rarely bleach. You think they do because a lot of them have lighter hue and eidiotic Africans like you worship light skin women.

And there's also one valbuena-esque player in the MFM side. His one touch-and-go passing is a joy to watch.

Probably Onuwa,an attacking midfielder with MFM. Heard about his exploits.

Well, let it be known to you that tribal sentiments has been dragged into this great thread.....Somebody even openly said a part of the country is being marginalized in football. As if there was a great talent obvious to everybody from region X and he was ignored because he was not from region A. We know the couch who took an inexperienced player and some grandfather who can't stand on his fit for a good 30minutes to the world cup just because they are his tribes men...hehe

Give me a gun and a right and I will blast all those iidiots in the glass house! That second leg selection in Egypt buried us for good. You benched our most creative players(Iweobi,Iheanoacho,S.Moses) for Umaru and Musa in the name of attacking football...What good is your attacking football without creativity and technique. Musa and Umaru are just like Garba Lawal....so so run without ball sense. Ok,sometimes musa gets lucky when his many wasteful shots mistakenly finds its way into the net. Siasia has no balls....At least ,Olise quit because he couldn't let them destroy his reputation.fffucck NFF and Siasia!

Echiejile lost his place in the squad in the last qualifying games of Coach Keshi after consecutive poor performances led us to a bad position in the qualifiers.

How can people ask about Echiejile instead of asking the true question. What made Sunday Oliseh not call Juwon Oshaniwa after Juwon Oshaniwa became the left back under Coach Keshi.

Why did Coach Siasia not call Juwon Oshaniwa?

Juwon Oshaniwa played that LB position at the WC(of which he performed below average according to my assessment) because we have no other option. The guy sef no sabi trap ball!

Is there anyone on this thread who felt Echiejile performed better than Amuzie.

I want to know.

Solace Chukwu pointed that the wing backs did not provide width. I remember Amuzie putting in a cross that the Goal Keeper caught. Did Echiejile put in an accurate cross?

I am sick of the ridiculous highly experience talk. It is so baffling that is the point to play Echiejile.

If anyone feels Echiejile performed better, I will like to know.

What did Echiejile do when he came on that justified a starting position?

Guy,trouble yourself not. Isn't it obvious Amuzie is a better option with an intimidating attacking threat.

Ok, "to me" it is your personal opinion but if we go by the technical facts grin on ground, Amuzie is not supposed to be called in the first place and it is a big disgrace and an eyesore for him to put on the Nigerian National jersey. Don't even further add insult to injury by comparing Echijiele with Amuzie.

This guy again! You watch and analyze soccer with too much emotion and that could cloud one's judgement. You make it sound as if the boy was woeful which is not true. That boy was solid on the ball and tackles very well. Left for me I will play the young man again,he is a bundle of talent. We need a LB that can join the attack and give us more fluidity in the final third and Amuzie has all the qualities.

For almost a week, ASWAMA seemed to be on strike, filth everywhere, dirt littered every dump site in a massive way. Awka was smelling So bad.

Funny enough, i engaged some folks on why waste disposal has a lot of potential for private investors like it happens in other cities in Nigeria and they flared up saying they cannot pay #100 per room a month for waste disposal and i was disgusted. They say the govt must bear all the cost.

Then i got to realise there's a fundamental problem somewhere.

Nigerians want development on a platter of gold...no taxes,no law and order no responsibility, whatsoever. But they all claim to be educated...Just a bunch of irresponsible, lazy old fools.

Next time go and run for the office and perform your miracle overnight....Even the almighty United States of America still have waste management challenges. You think these things happen overnight after many decades of negligence. For your information, there are plans in the pipeline to fix the problem but it won't happen overnight and Obiano won't finish solving our problems...That's what we need continuity...Stop thinking like a bush man in the village drinking palmy.
