I have also subscribed before my ODU bundle expired once. I thought I would see the expiry date extended but what happened was that it stayed the same until the current one expired. The new sub then showed up with new expiry date.

Whereas it was the ODUs we were talking about compared to the X30 when you talked about 'facts", never mind the subtle mentions I made of the X25 devices, the AI got the features and specs mixed up. That said, X25 is still better than it from chipset to hardware constraints, speed, etc.

ZLT X30, never mind that it's 5G ready, its main selling point is portability and battery life. At least that's why I would want to buy it, especially since it should work with broadband bundles.

Since you're cool with subscribing, get two ODUs or one ODU and one 'the other way' sim. When one reaches 1TB, subscribe the other one and repeat.

I would say Huawei or ZTE if you can find them.

If they are not, you can get any one. The esim is no issue so long as it registers and works before you leave their office. You can quietly swap the esim for a physical one.

Don't let them use MTN as your alternate number. So you should register a fresh normal Airtel Sim before going, if you don't already have one.

Tozed Kangwei makes all the ZLT devices.
X30 is even old but it fits our use case here. That's why I showed interest in it too. They later made another one, X35 with less battery capacity but even that one is not currently being produced/marketed.

The ODUs and IDUs are premium devices. There are standalone IDUs like X25 Max 2, which is the newer version of X25 and X25 pro devices, their street credible best sellers.

I like the device, especially the idea of a portable 5G capable router. I also like the battery size. It will be able to last me a reasonable time.

I had Netgear Nighthawk M2, which I bought around 2021, it was a joy to use. But they killed it the day I did software update. Its wifi stopped working but it works via ethernet.

If it's the ZTE G5F you got, you can see the QR code on it with which you can download the app. The app is also called 'Install Helper' and can easily be downloaded from Play Store if you use android. I'm sure the iOS version will be readily available too.

Be sure it's ZTE because that's the only ODU that the app works with. I'm not sure if the others have similar app(s).

Anything is possible but not defaulting on local currency bonds. What I suspect is systemic lack of integrity on the part of the regime - from the DMO to whoever is regulating them, all the way to the government itself. And it's unfortunate.

For some years now, I have not been paid my coupon on the exact due dates for any of my FGN Savings Bonds. They eventually pay any day they like. I have stopped expecting them on the due dates.

For context, this only happened on weekends or public holidays for all the times I have been buying government bonds. Initially, they were giving excuses, but these days no one cares to explain anything. They just pay any time they want. Too much anyhowness. No transparency, no regard for the investors, nothing nothing. Just vibes.

Which platform you dey take stream live event? I think movies generally do well because they no be live event.

When network is close to average, I stream football games very well but whenever it's bad, it's frustrating. On those bad days, movies stream seamlessly.

Omoo, Airtel just slow for my area.

All the devices I listed above are ODUs and they are different models.

I still believe you're talking about the form factor of the ODUs because they all look alike and, like you have rightly noticed, the IDUs look significantly different. If this is not the case, kindly share the specific models you have experienced.

FWIW, Airtel have been consistent in pairing of their ODU/IDU package in that they have always had different pairs. They may change that in the future but for now all their pairs have been different from previous ones.

Bro they are not. I think what you meant is that they are of similar structure. They look alike.

We have talked about ZLT X17M, X17U; ZTE G5F, HUAWEI MAX 5. These are different.

As someone who owns 5G X25 pro Smartbox and two different models of ODU,
Smartbox outperforms ODUs.
I’ve done both speed and reception tests, 5G Smartbox outperforms both.

Your ODU was probably not optimally installed. However, that's not taking anything away from X25 because that box is wonderful.

How do you guys activate an external SIM when you swap the eSim?
I am asking specifically on this new ZLT X17U, because I couldn't see the toggle button to select eSim or external SIM.

I am trying this on a neighbour's ODU for when he will do SIM swap.
A close menu I see on the router's UI is to logout the eSim.

You have not been following up.

As a reminder, ZLT M30 and M30 pro work with the sim but you'd need to work on the mifi for it to work.

There is one old MTN ZTE mifi that works.
That one still has poor battery but it's more compact. Among them though, ZLT M30 is preferable to me.

Vida M4 is what I am using right now with the ODU plan and it’s still blazing since I tried it this afternoon, reboot and reset your mifi and see it it works

I restarted the router and it didn't work still.
I will test it again tomorrow. I hope it works because the router has 3000mAh battery, uses nano SIM and charges with type C. Convenient and compatible with modern devices, unlike ZLT M30. M30 though, has LAN port.

For context, at that start of this year, all I had was N2m in my portfolio whereas at the same time I owed N7m to banks and friends.

I basically had -N5m net.

I had to borrow at up to 156% annualized cos for me, I must trade in every market session, even if I have to borrow expensive money trade.


So while it's been a good year, it wasn't a year in which I could have afforded to pay for expensive APIs.

What a relief cause this my tweaked ZLT mifi battery life is ass
With this my Vida , I can get at least two days now without charging
