Yea, I mean it's not stated on the app, the My MTN app.

My sub will expire tomorrow and I want to buy another ODU instead of just subscribing. I want Huawei but it's not in my location.

Yea. As for the new ones, I saw them on the MTN app and no details were put there as to data cap or even speed. It might be just like the ODU sub for Airtel.

If anything, it may make Airtel review their router unlimited plans (not ODU) to match those of MTN hynetflex plans.

Airtel's is better. MTN capped theirs at 150GB and a paltry 2GB per day after that. Still 30k.

Airtel is 20mbs and unstated 1TB cap, after which speed reduces for some people (because some also say they use up to 4TB per month)

From past experience, router plans all behave the same regardless of network.

I have used an mtn router plan a few years back and regardless of how strong network reception was, it faced similar issues as Airtel router plans, barely reliable.

MTN has introduced speed based plans, but look at the ridiculous pricing. I am not even sure of its fair usage policy. It's accessible via ussd *461*1# or Via MyMTN app. I believe the eligible tariff is Hynetflex.

They should bring it to 25k just like their FibreX. Folks in areas of strong MTN network would then try it.

This nightly speed reduction would be Airtel's undoing.

Go through My Airtel app. I don't see why you need to receive SMS on the ODU line.

Folks should actually take advantage of that app and especially SmatCash. 10% discount is a big deal in long term.

when the 20MPs was still working on all devices, I used the plan on it and it lasts at least two whole days without charging, mehn I miss it, wish there was a way to make it work with the router plans again

I even have the new one with type c port and about 3000 battery. Still useless.

OK. I use the normal M30 and it works as well.

I wish I can find a portable router with up to 5000mAh that can be made to work with broadband bundles.
I found one VIDA router with 5000 battery but the tweakers say e no fit work.

What you have said and also to create demand for what I own. Remember that there are a limited number of shares on the exchange. Any demand I can create will only help push up the price which I ultimately profit from.

Go through my post history, I have never mentioned what I am going to buy unless I am trying to feel the pulse of other market participants. Take time out and learn how to value stocks for yourself. Read books, read Investopedia, ask questions, but do the bleeding work. Thinking you will come on some internet forum and some stranger will have your best interest at heart based on phony online reputation is a recipe for disaster.

I see great scope of similarity with MH, perhaps with a more honourable approach than that of Oga Loco

I really doubt it will go except they have a poorly designed system. It should flag an error if attempt to do so since a SIM is already active on that imei number.

But again, if they can wrongly swap another number successfully with ease, I guess anything is possible with them. Will you be trying it so that we can know if it is possible or not??

As a matter of fact, if you get gifted an unregistered router, or bought one without registering, that's how you would normally register it. It's available on the UI of the Airtel registration software's home page. Routers are not registered as normal sim cards but using the SN and IMEI as Home Broadband(HBB).

That gets me thinking if anyone has tried registering a fresh SIM using the SN and IMEI of a currently-in-use ODU. Would be interesting to find out if one still gets 50mbs on registration or if Airtel would block that.

Anyone with ODU Router IMEI, I want to change my universal mifi IMEI that has a built-in feature to change IMEI, that way I can carry the subscription around.

Buy ODU and try it with the one you bought. It's a win-win situation - you use the ODU and also use the MIFI. With 25K, you have the ODU, the subscription, and, more importantly, the IMEI you need for your experiment.

By the way, I would like to know which MIFI that is. You can share the model and the picture if you don't mind.

You may need to check black market because most current official MIFIs won't work.

ODU cannot be portable. Just find a suitable mifi that can be cracked to work with broadband sim cards and you are good to go.

Before getting ODU, I was on this thread writing about how I was waiting for the ones with physical sim; that was the reason.

VPNs actually help a lot. Found out when streaming. Some channels which refused to be stable are more than stable with VPN. Incredible!
