An earthquake is an upheaval (just like BH is turning Nigeria upside down) and whist the militants are arming and preparing to inflict more and more damage (like earthquakes), we are politicizing everything and even calling those warning against the complacency "BH sympathizers"

Basically then, the idea is that we should run a one party state with everybody kow-towing to the same set of people who thus find no reason to try to please Nigerians but just seek to show loyalty to PDP so as to get closer and closer to the "pot of gold" that politicians have turned power in Nigeria to?

The current opposition may not be saints but neither are PDP! Time will sift and cleanse them all BUT WE NEED a strong opposition to always keep whoever the ruling party is, in check!!

PointB: This whole idea of Boko Haram commanders, naming their sponsors, through Davis, is simply a smokescreen. It's main objective is to create further suspicions, and with it, division in the fight against terror.

If Boko Haram 'commanders' (these nameless ones Davis want us to believe in), wished to reveal the identity of their sponsors, what prevented them from naming the bank official who launders and transfer the blood money? And while at it, how about the 'bag man' in Egypt who is directly responsible for dishing out the funds? Surely those two - the 'sender', and 'distributor', would have been closer to their circle than indeed those who source for the funds, and should resonate often in the daily discussion of these faceless 'commanders' (whom Davis appears to be protecting).

It very clear to discerning minds that what Dr. Davis bought from these murderers is, indeed, a very obvious lie - a smokescreen! It is not worth the distraction it's creating in the war effort!

Nice post! I thought about this whole Davis issue and the only thing that keeps coming to mind is that more information is available to GEJ and maybe this Davis man wants to force Jonathan to act on the information available by embarrassing him!

Whatever the truth is, GEJ is responsible for these speculations - he has said he knows the sponsors - why hasn't he named them?

I agree Amaechi should have supervised OR EVEN sent these contractors to jail (if they aren't being protected by Abuja) but so do I expect Nigeria to have above the board arms supply (same with crude sales too, btw)!
