Resurrection212: Tambuwal is a very funny man. Your state is world capital of poverty...I just don't know why southeast people are so easy to manipulate.
It was said courtesy by southeast PDP...Even despite that the man said he is not igbo and you're still dying for him. It says courtesy of "Southeast zone" not "Southeast PDP" Anyone or group of people who has little money to print posters and t-shirts can form a support group for politicians with hope to be recognized by the said politicians. It's a kind of investment. If they're lucky the said politicians may recognize them and release money to them, sometimes they're ignored. So this is not Southeast PDP thing, it's an individual support group. |

What's it that the present president is doing exactly? Let's forget the mess done by the previous govts. Is it not shameful that after 6 years Buhari is still going to London for medical purposes? |

Igboid: Because of the failure of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo and all so called Igbo organizations as well as the Igbo political class. There have been slow and steady aggressive attempt at expansionism towards Igboland by all small but ambitious minorities around us.
The Binis has been doing theirs from Western Igboland with full support of Oba Bini through the. Great Bini descendants vehicle. They have their online warriors infiltrating all western Igbo forums speeding their agenda. The Igalas under the leadership of late Attah of Igala were doing theirs too. Through Ayegba they were visiting some hungry autonomous community Ezes and youths in Nsukka areas.
The Ijaws have their eyes fully set on Ndokiland and have been having series of endless parley with hungry Eze autonomous communities and Youths in that end.
How long are we going to allow this go on? How much more do we have to allow our already disunited and small Igboland shrunked more by these minorities before we stage a come back to neutralize them?
What's the role of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo? Do our political class know they will lose more if the Igbo political space continue to shrink further at the hands of identity crisis instigated those places by aggressive expansionist minorities surrounding us? Are you on twitter? If you're, bring up this issue there inform of thread and tag all Igbo notable groups twitter handles. It's only on twitter that you can get the Igbo elites' attention. |

Igboid: The part affected most is the Ndoki communities in Oyiigbo LGA of Rivers state.
Ohaneze Ndiigbo did well appointing an Ndoki Son Ambassador Emuchay Okechukwu as the new Secretary General of the organization.
But they need to do more. The Ohaneze Youth branch should be in charge of this project. There should be grassroot sensitization and mobilization of Igbo youths in these border communities such as Ndoki. Ohanaeze should be proactive in stamping their presence in these communities by having regular meetings with their Ezes, doing some small projects here and there in these communities to keep them in line.
Ohanaeze can do things like community water project, and stamp it with a big sign post of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo sponsored. Renovation and equipment of carefully selected public community primary and secondary schools in these communities and as usually stamping a big sign board marking it as Ohanaeze Ndiigbo sponsored project there. Helping fund their local Christmas community football tournament and making sure the youths know that its Ohaneze Ndiigbo sponsoring it.
A child growing up in these border Igbo communities MUST be made to grow up seeing Ohaneze Ndiigbo sponsored projects all around him.
This should be replicated in those Igbo frontier communities with Igala, Ijaw, Idoma, Ibibio/Annang, Edo. You have a good point. You can write to Ohanaeze, hope you know. |

No one will disturb anyone to be Igbos,very soon the lost sheep will come back just like Ekpeyes are doing now. By then you will be ashamed of yourself for waisting your time fighting a lost battle You get time dey reply that guy. Simple question he couldn't answer. Let him tell us the original languages of the Ikwerre and Ekpeye people before they lost it? Again, let him tell us why among all the tribes that shared boundaries with Igbo communities it was only Ikwerre and Ekpeye people that lost their original languages and the names of their various villages. Ikwerre is already divided over their identity, some are saying they're ndịIgbo while some are saying they're from bini. Then you ask yourself why's it that someone who's claiming to come from bini doesn't have any similarities with bini culture. Just as you said before It's a matter of time, those Ikwerre claiming bini go come back to their senses. Bro..., leave that guy abeg. |

Politics › Re: Anioma Group Blasts Apc’s Lauretta Onochie For Ill-fated Article Press Release by nuelsylves(m): 12:53pm On Feb 14, 2021 |
This is nothing but the verifiable truth. Ctorch: As stated by one of our leaders Col Achuzie, the Ikemba of Asaba, we believe that the issues leading to the end of Biafran war and the pacification which followed thereafter has not assuaged a good percentage of the Igbo people of Nigeria that they have been fully integrated in the country. Many of them still feel they have been treated as second-class citizens and there are empirical evidences to suggest that some of these claims have some taints of truth and reality in it.
Among some of the issues include the slicing off of some Igbo communities out of core Igbo states and merger to other states. We can give examples:
1. The area of Ndoki south covering the present Oyigbo (originally Obigbo) transferred from the old Aba division and lumped to Rivers State in 1976. Also, in the 1980s, three Ndoki villages namely Ohaobu, Mkpukpuaja and Ogbuagu villages carved from the then Imo State and lumped to Etim-Ekpo LGA of Akwa Ibom State. It is noteworthy to state that Oyigbo LGA apart from Oloibiri was the first place in Nigeria to produce oil and gas in commercial quantities (at Afam). Unlike Oloibiri which has dried-up since the 1980s, Afam and other Oyigbo oil-fields keep yielding vast quantities of petroleum.
2. Egbema communities now in Rivers State. Egbema has 16 villages and out of these 16 villages , 3 namely Mgbede, Aggah and Okwuzi has the largest reserves of oil and gas in the community. This is apparently the reason they were lumped to Rivers while the other 13 villages were left in Imo State where they had to contend with more modest reserves of the commodity. It is important to note that this “punishment” at least as perceived by many Igbos did not end up with the eastern Igbo people. The Aniomas or Western Igbos had to lose Ndoni area to Rivers State and Osekwenike-Onyah area to Sagbama area of Bayelsa State. Just like the other examples I gave, all of these areas are oil-producing. It is often claimed that the Nigerian Civil war was a war fought over oil and gas and the actions of the federal government just like these examples seems to reflect suggest that the federal government had intended to give a tag of non-oil producing to Igbo areas including Anioma. While it is interesting to note that parts of Igbo land has been excised and lumped to other states, a good part of Itsekiri land embracing what is defined as Ugbege area was lumped to Ondo State; A state where Itsekiri people are not indigenous.
This is one just an example of the double standards in Nigeria which seem to swell such protests. It therefore lies with the federal government to initiate moves to douse such feelings of alienation or punishment for the war. A common song by Peter Tos , which has one of its iconic lyrics “Everyone is crying out for peace but no one for justice” brings to the fore what we are trying to pass across here. |

Oga when you commit sins against your fellow humans, haven't you committed sins against God?
Making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation (slander) is a sin. So when you make a statement to slander someone, you have committed a sin.
Stealing is also a sin. If someone steal your money, haven't he/she committed sin?
Fault is the same as sin. |

Tobechuckwu: The Bible never condemned confession of sins to one another, but what is the essence when u can easily confess ur sins to God nd he will forgive u. I fink confession of faults to one another as to do with clearing of one's conscience nd be free from self condemnation. What's the essence of John20:21-23? Why did Jesus Christ delegated authority to his ministers to act as mediators of reconciliation when he breathed on them in John 20:21-23? |
Christianity Etc › Re: What You Need To Know About Confession Of Sins From 1 John 1:9 - Gabriel Okocha by nuelsylves(m): 11:55am On Mar 31, 2019 |
jiggaz: James did not say that if you didn't confess to one another, you will not be forgiven by God. James was encouraging the Jewish believers to be open with one another so that they can live at peace with themselves. Our total forgiveness of sins ( Past, Present and Future) was accomplished by Christ Jesus on the cross of Calvary. And anyone that puts his faith in what Christ did at the Cross is automatically forgiven forever.
James was just talking about Justification before men. He was urging them to be open and sincere with one another. It is not about justification before God. I was reading your post to see if you can use a Bible verse to condemn confession of one's sins to one another. But I was disappointed. These verses 13 to 18 is telling us that the unremitting prayer of a just person prevails over many things. Hence, we should confess our sins to one another, pray for one another, so that we will be saved. He went further to give an example on how the prayer of Elijah who were regarded as a just person was answered on many occasions. So James did not said that confessing your sins to one another is wrong. |

Op. Anger is not the sins against the Holy spirit. It's better to keep quite when it comes to things of God than to teach and mislead people.
Sins against the Holy spirit is Blasphemy
In Matthew 12:31 Jesus says, “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.”
Jesus called not all blasphemy unpardonable, but only that against the Holy Spirit.
Some may ask, what are the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the “deliberate refusal” to accept God’s mercy and forgiveness.
Six species of this sin have been identified over time as
1. Despair;
2. Presumption;
3. Impenitence or a firm determination not to repent;
4. Obstinacy;
5. Resisting divine truth known to be such; and
6. Envy of another’s spiritual welfare.
Please! Next time try study your Bible very well and carry out some research before writing this kind of topic. |
