Hi PC gurus in the house. My laptop does not see the hotspot from my phone anymore. I have been using the laptop to brows the internet previously until it developed a power problem. One technician fixed the power problem by changing the motherboard. And since then the laptop has not been receiving any wireless hotspot.

My laptop is Acer ASPIRE 4720Z
Pls how do I solve this problem. Thanks.

I slept on the job all the time when i was a driver for my former employer. It's no big deal if one is tired they need rest or sleep otherewise it could be harzadous and health and safety rules allows it.
If you feel tired while driving take a nap for atleast 2 hours you still get paid. Multi million £ company's with considerate policies would rather their employees took a nap while at work than go on sick leave with stress.

This is exactly what most Nigerian employers and even employees don't understand. Like you said, safety rules allows it.
In the airline industry, it is better you tell the truth if you are sick or tired than for you to go up in the sky and crash a plane or do something really dangerous that would lead to damage worth millions of dollars and also damage company image.

Technically he wasn't sleeping "on the job". He would be if he was on a jumpseat in an aircraft dozing away, but he was on standby. We also have a specific rooms with comfortable couches for crew who are on standby, and you can either sleep or watch tv while waiting to be called for duty.

I just love this statement. The guy was probably not sleeping on the job, he was getting the required rest. most airlines have places or rooms where crew can rest before their next shift.

A PhD program entails at least a 100 publication within 2-3years nowadays which need a serious scrutiny by some panel. If she can't concentrate now, she might end up completing a 4-5years programme for 10years. Sometimes, all this assigned professor frustrate their candidate , so you don't know what's on her mind each time you call. Kindly note that you should expect more strange actions from her during her program because its entails full concentration especially for those that want to complete it within a fast paced time. Being a PhD student is not like you are in prison. There are thousands of PhD students the world over getting married while working. I'm also a post graduate research student, so I know.
Just visit any university and you will find lots of married PhD students, both male and female raising kids in a family.

I know PhD can be tasking but it cannot prevent you from receiving calls the year round.
