dorben: AM MARRIED TO HIM AND WE HAVE TWO LUVLY KIDS.AND HE IS MY FIRST AND ONLY LOVE,BUT I REALIZE I NO LONGER LOVE HIM because HE CHEATED ON ME LAST YEAR.BUT HE STILL LOVE AND CARE FOR ME PLS ANY HELP ON WHAT TO DO.DIVORCE IS NOT AN OPTION.I JUST NEED HELP.
OP, what did you do to make him cheat on you, its so easy to always want to put all the blame on other people, everyone is totally guilty except us. I want to beleive you are not a perfect human being. You probably have some of you own faults that he forgives.
I'm not making a case for men that cheat, infact I hate cheating of all forms, but some men are married to dragons in the name of wives.
For instance, do you deny him sex, nag, quarrel a lot? Are you caring, understanding, supportive etc

Fred might be a dreamer who wants to make it big with his first job. It doesn't always work like that. Helene on the other hand started small and rose steadily, why can't Fred do that and save everyone a lot of stress.

I'm not trying to make a case for Helene here because what she's doing is bad but has it occurred to our Oga Fred that Helene is not getting younger, her friends and probably younger ones are already getting married and before you know it parents and other relations will start disturbing her and asking her what she's waiting for. These things are not so easy especially for a girl. We don't know what Helene is putting up with from her family.

Fred should get something doing abeg. The girl has tried. How many Naija babes will wait for a jobless guy for 3 years plus

Finaly OP, we know you are Fred o! cheesy

TravelRe: Ask Me Any Questions About America, straight Talk from a Nigerian in America by numericalguy(m): 10:03am On Oct 22, 2013
manny4life: Sorry, been busy all day moving.

I forgot to add this

That is the MOST BASIC requirement that you have to fulfill in addition to the one I posted previously. You're over 18years of age, able to read, write, speak and understand English, and since you have few years of experience, that should cover the 30 months (2.5years) practical experience. You just have to register for the three types of examination, just contact the FAA Office. I would recommend that you familiarize yourself with the materials before testing. This should help

The bold portions are very important to note, however, the aviation industry is dependent on demand (traffic), therefore, to some it pays off and to others, they remain where they at. An average mechanic earns about $20.00/hr, however, in mainline airline companies or private jets, they can pay up $25 to $40 per hr depending on your experience or more. This depends on what types of work you do, line mechanics do not make good money, but mechanics and engineers who perform stress checks are paid handsomely and with your engineering degree, you definitely have an advantage. An average of $20/hr @ 2,040 possible hrs annually = $41,000/yr. Keep in mind all this is dependent on your work permit or sponsorship. Again, like any other job, you have to work your way up, so if you think 40k - 55k is good for at least in the next few years, then salary wise, it's worth it. Btw, don't forget to add, the salaries quoted are for "EXPERIENCED" folks.
@manny4life,

Thanks so much for all the information.. It seems the take home is like twice as much as what you'll earn in Nigeria when you are just starting, but the experienced guys earns roughly the same thing.
Though my mind is still not yet made up but I want to know as much as I can, and possibly give it a try because I wouldn't want a situation where years later I would be saying to myself, 'if only I had tried'.
So, where do I start from, I don't think I would have major challenges regarding age, certificates and basic experience needed for the FAA examination. Also, does FAA have any center here in Nigeria?
Thanks so much.
TravelRe: Ask Me Any Questions About America, straight Talk from a Nigerian in America by numericalguy(m): 12:47am On Oct 21, 2013
manny4life: IMO, you'll face same challenges as someone without the necessary work permits however, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are called A&P (Airframe and Power Plant) mechanics. I don't know if this is what you're referring to, if it is, you don't have to go through the training again, just show proof of working experience and what you need is to get an FAA certification that allows you to work on U.S. Registered Aircraft. The pay is GREAT depending on your location, for instance A&P in really high traffic cities earn about 3x more than their counterparts, aircraft maintenance is in demand but you have to do your homework.

http://www.faa.gov/mechanics/become/basic/

Here is the requirement that applies to you

My final submission, FAA aren't that lenient when it comes to foreigners, they scrutinize anything and everything, if it doesn't make sense and you can't prove it, you're done. So my advice is you get it together, and do what's necessary.
@manny4life,
I have the NCAA licence which is the Nigerian equivalent of the FAA (Airframe and Power Plant) mechanics, though I have only a few years working experience.
Since Nigeria is a member of the ICAO and I have the NCAA licence, I think what I would need to do is conversion. I'm also of the opinion that I would be able to meet up with the other requirements.
What I would like to know is that, would it be worth it (sallary wise).
Thanks

Hi Babyosisi and other contributors,

I have a Bsc in engineering, I also went into aviation technology which makes me a Licensed aircraft maintenance engineer and I'm currently with one of the airlines in Nigeria.
Of late I have found myself toying with idea of relocating to the US. Honestly the pay is not that bad in Nigeria just that it seems the guys that left for the US are doing far better.
My question is this, how challenging is it for a Licensed aircraft engineer to relocate, secure a job and settle down also, do you know of anyone who has gone through it who might want to share his experinces with us.
Thanks a lot

@SLIDE waxie, if expressing myself means am a terrorist, then you are one as well.[/quote]Christians may be nice people too but no, you can't marry one. It is forbiden in Islam for a muslim woman to marry a man that is not a muslim.
I would advice that you improve on your Islamic knowledge.
I also have christian friends but I don't do everything they do. I set boundries.
The ONLY reason I think all your toasters are christians is because you don't dress and behave like a muslim. Start dressing and behaving like a muslim girl and before you know it all the handsom muslim guys will be flocking arround you. wink

Going to parties and hanging arround night clubs are not the best places to meet good Muslim guys.

RomanceRe: Men! Is This True? by numericalguy(m): 7:47pm On Aug 31, 2013
What are the causes of blood in the semen?

Blood in semen can be caused by many conditions affecting the male genitourinary system. Areas affected may include the bladder, urethra, the testicles, the tubes that distribute semen from the testicles (known as the seminal vesicles), the epididymis (a segment of the spermatic ducts that serves to store, mature, and transport sperm), and the prostate gland.

Blood in the semen is most commonly a result of a prostate gland biopsy. More than 80% of men who undergo a prostate biopsy may have some blood in their semen that persists for three to four weeks. Likewise, vasectomy can lead to bloody semen for about one week after the procedure.

In men with hematospermia who have not had a recent prostate biopsy or vasectomy, a number of benign and malignant conditions of the male genital system may be the cause. In many situations, no definitive cause is found.

The following conditions have been reported in association with hematospermia:

Benign or malignant tumors of the prostate, bladder, testes, or seminal vesicles
Infections including, but not limited to, chlamydia, herpes, cytomegalovirus, and trichomoniasis
Inflammation of the prostate (prostatitis), epididymis (epididymitis), or urethra (urethritis)
Calculi (stones similar to kidney stones) in the seminal vesicles or prostate
Polyps in the urethra
Ejaculation duct obstructions
Metastatic cancers (that have spread from other sites in the body) located in the genitourinary system
Cysts, hemorrhage, or other abnormalities in the seminal vesicles

RomanceRe: The myth behind a rich and a poor man by numericalguy(m): 11:33am On Aug 25, 2013
sexytabhi: Ok lemme start this way:
Most times when I read people`s comments on choosing between aa rich guy or a poor guy for marriage, bout 90% advise the babe to go for a poor guy claiming that 1. He will get rich someday
2. he will love her sincerely
3. she would be able to have a say in his life later when he becomes rich
4. He will always appreciate her for standing by him.
Most times the rich dude is always condemned
1. He will never appreciate the babe cos she dint suffer with him
2. She's only a gold digger and does not love the rich guy for love but for money
3. How did he come bout his riches,he will surely use her to make money later
4. He will treat her as if she's a slave.
The list is endless.
My question is,what makes us think a rich guy will never love a babe sincerely or vice versa, does it mean that the poor guy will never disappoint the babe in future after suffering with him. What is good for a goose is good for the gander, wealth doesn't define personality..as a matter of fact it is always good to go for the rich guy who has shown genuine interest in you rather than a poor dude who would expect you to fall for him out of pity due to his condition.
I wonder how OP came about this her so called fact.
OP sounds to me like a gold digger seeking for reasons to justify why she jilted her poor boyfriend and went for a rich guy smiley
