It apears the coup plothers were not completely wrong in some of the things they said. Corruption and bad governance has always been problems in Nigeria.

Ibeno people need another kind of bridge, they need a bridge to remove themselves from their kidnappings and harassments. I had a short stay in Ibeno and I was kidnapped and harassed three times in a space of one month by "community boys" and woe betided you if you cannot speak the local dialect. I could not speak their dialect and that made things worse as the they extorted money from us without mercy.

I was once like you, got my first job in a multinational 3 months after NYSC as an electrical engineer when I was barely 26, pay was good, but I just wasn't happy after a while. I grew tired of doing routine stuff, I wanted excitement so I left after 2 years... To cut the long story short, I have worked in 2 other companies, but they are basically the same thing. Some of the things we see in movies or read in novels are not real.

My sister is a Medical Doctor, its not easy qualifying as a Doctor. You would have invested a lot of time, money and sufferings to get that degree. So please forget any idea that you can pick up another first degree in petroleum engineering, besides who is going to fund it, you are getting older, in a few years from now your classmates will start getting married and having babies.. what will you then be doing?
