HungerDey:Nothing wrong with the particular testimonies that are trending. It was VDM and other content creators that filtered those testimonies to make it look outrageous. They cut off the parts where those chosen said they were in a dream. I’m not a big fan of chosen church but I think the idea to make a caricature of them has backfired. After laughing and having fun, people especially true Christians are now asking what is actually wrong or impossible about those testimonies even if they were not just dreams? Problem is that due to so many greedy men of God and faithless Christians in Nigeria now, it’s hard to believe such these days. But the Truth is that those kind of testimonies happen real life if you know your God. |
AK481:1. Dangote did business with Nnpcl/FG, not Nigerians. And so does not owe much explanation to the public. However, he’s also trying not be on the bad book of the people by raising this alarm. 2. Dangote is being careful not to name drop on the FG. He might have signed a non disclosure agreement with FG. So By this statement, he has given them time to retract the lies. And also washing his hands off any future scandal. 3. Dangote sold in dollars because he bought the current crude oil he is using now in dollars. He said he will sell in naira from October when the FG would be selling crude to him in Naira. |
JoeEeL:Tyga was never a big force. He stayed longer in the limelight because of who he was dating at that time. |
Nonexisting1:Truth! Though Quan made a small mark, but these guys have made a big joke of the rap game. And to make matters worse, all they rap these days are about guns, gang banging and shooting rivalries. They even hardly rap about booties anymore. Though it never made much sense to me but at least it was manageable. Black neighborhoods of Jacksonville, Florida is a no go area now because idiots like late Julio and their rival gangs. I only got to know about these idiots because of how they are dropping each other like flies. Not because of their indomie chewing gum garbage they call rap. If I get tired of classic rap music, I just comfortably switch to gospel. |
TheBillyonaire:Just make your point and move on. No need to be proud of using minors for slave labor and maltreating them at the same time. How do most people who poorly treat and pay their househelps (maids) peanuts sleep well at night? Worst of all, how do you manage to be so proud of it? |
Namaster:The guy you quoted is partially right just like you are partially right too. Most international crimes committed by Nigerians are done through various networks of Nigerian cult groups. Be it human trafficking, cybercrime, assassinations, armed robberies, kidnapping, political and election violence etc. From Napoli, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Jarkarta, Dubai, Joburg to Accra… you can hardly succeed in these crimes without belonging to a vicious and violent gang. It’s a dog eat dog environment and this is where Nigerian cult groups comes into play. There’s no mistake by the op about attaching cultism to the topic. It’s actually a major tool in any major or violent crime. Having clarified that, you got angry when the op pointed out the government as the major enabler by not doing much to prevent such crimes. Why should you? Are you not aware that the major reason Nigerians are top of the list of hard drug traffickers is because there’s practically no punishment for it in Nigeria? Likewise yahoo yahoo, kidnapping, terrorism, corruption in government, rape, armed robbery etc. Please let’s not deceive ourselves by thinking over 200 million Nigerians will come together one day and decide to do the right thing. It’s even worst to think that a 17 years yahoo boy swindling people of millions without any stress will wake up one morning and turn a new leaf without the government dealing with him. It has never worked anywhere in the history of mankind before, it doesn’t seem Nigeria will be the first. Buhari was so delusional to think “change begins with me” was going to be successful. Change begins with the leader and his/her family! And when that is achieved, no living human being will like to fall out of line because of the huge consequences. Nigeria is the way it is today because there are no consequences for bad behavior and no reward for good deeds. There’s a country called El Salvador. Used to have the highest death rate by gun in the world. A small boy brought the various vicious gangs and their crimes almost to a halt. Google some documentaries. Today, the same country has the lowest death rate by violence in the region. Duate of Philippines tried it too and it worked well. Why can’t we learn from the people who did it in 2 decades? Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore, Park of South Korea, Hsieng of Malaysia, Deng Xiaoping of China and lately even though not yet verified… Paul Kegame of Rwanda. Only the government can quench those gangs and their crimes if they wish to. |
ultim:So sad some Nigerians love to boast about how they are bringing trouble and unnecessary gbas gbos to a show that’s supposed to allow you showcase strategy, intelligence, endurance, fun and strength. What a people! |
Puff Daddy is a lot bad things including wishing death for Tupac. …but he never paid $1m in 1996 for the murder of Tupac. $1m to get how much in return? Tupacs death was directly a threat to his own life. So why kill him when there will be fatal retaliation? Biggie paid with his life. |
helinues:Who are these people that have such power to pitch Dangote and FG in a very big life changing case like this? |
This is very bad and unacceptable! It’s a clear case of sabotage from some past or present government officials in exchange for a small stake or share in the company. Most developed countries usually make sure they buy up major shares in their multinationals. They buy it up and most times sell it to their citizens with a clause of only selling it back to the government should they need their money back. Why are we so wicked to ourselves. Why do those who claim to love Nigeria hate Nigeria so much in action? |
gfelo:Boko Haram or Islamic fundamentalist is meant for everywhere. It only thrives in places where there’s unequal justice system, corruption and lack or delayed justice. |
Basicend:What makes them phycho? What’s all these insults for? Have they offended you from somewhere before? Even Kim kardashian’s family doesn’t have such an extreme view of the couple. |
UnitedKingdom:Truth! My only problem is how can a man know so much yet have very poor and biased judgement on love and humanity because of ethnicity and religion? |
You can call it self hate but the truth is that most black Africans have a fundamental issue bordering growth, development and peaceful coexistence. Singapore had this same issue with Indian herders and the rest of the country. One day, Lee Kuan Yew got report that a doctor going to work was killed by a herd of cows. The next day, he gave an order that cows be vacated from streets and pathways in 4 months. Ranch or your cow will be confiscated and used for protein for the less privileged. Four months later, hundreds of cows were confiscated and given to the less privileged. In the fifth month, no single cow in the streets of Singapore. Today, they are some of the best ranchers in the world. This issue was solved in 5 months in Singapore. But in Nigeria, we enjoy playing around with serious issues. Years in, years out. Tufia! |
Zonefree:Clearly and with due respect, you do not have knowledge of what is going on in other parts of the world. I can only agree with you if you say Nigerians and some other Africans do this more than Asians, South Americans, Caribbean and Eastern Europeans. And come to think of it, it’s actually an achievement given that in few months or years, a lot will definitely change for most of these travelers when compared to their situation down here. That being said, I believe we can stay back and build a country we can all be proud of. |
MerchantMNT:Not true. The Emir is a traditional position. It’s the sultan that’s a religious position. |
It’s either you are an irredeemable tribal bigot, a lost party propagandist or an extremely ignorant fellow. WTF! |
Senioreddy:Oga keep quiet! Them say person steal N500B and you are here trying to link it with tinubu and politics. And who cares if it’s tinubu running the parole underground for personal gains? We should be more concerned whether such unimaginable theft actually took place. And if it did; the thieves should be severely punished! |
It all started when some so called educated guys on social media called him an illiterate for not knowing how to speak correct English. The guy vex begin spit fire.🔥 “You are calling me an illiterate when you that’s literate hasn’t shown anything to prove it. So therefore, we are all illiterate” |
People are here fooling themselves in support and against whoever, while Hausa’s are being played in their land. For me, it’s very unfair for any other person other than an Hausa man being the Emir of Kano and sultan of sokoto. But what do I know? |
Hezzyluv:Whoever wrote this report is not professional. The list of money collected from a Nigerian lover is a different case that happened in Kano. The Chinese man involved has been sentenced to death. |
Kwaramustgoodag:Oga, they are talking about forced anal sex here. Besides, na women dey pay bride price for India. Read! |
Pietrak1:Same issue sir. 1. What are you going to be importing from Russia? Crude oil? Cheap clothes or toothpicks or refined fuel? 2. How do you source for rubles to buy all these from Russia since you don’t have anything to sell to them? |
BodyCount:1. Most of our current oil exports have been paid for during Buharis tenure. So we are earning little dollars currently from the extras. 2. Exporting unrefined crude is no issue. We are importing refined crude oil and other refined products. The later zaps all the dollars from the initial exports of crude oil. 3. The Arabs for example UAE and Qatar invested heavily and divested with the initial crude oil exports and still doing so till today. We didn’t. We can’t do magic all of a sudden. 4. All the Arabian countries that have crude oil have always had functional crude oil refineries that fully serves their countries from day one. No case of importing refined products. Look baba, Exporting extractive materials is not same as production. It’s actually a setback or disadvantage. Nigeria is actually producing nothing. |
1x2x3:Don’t mind them. How much dollars can one hoard? Hoard it where sef? For what? Where can you even get it for hoarding? Just like you said, you must export. Not only that; you must produce refined products for the exports. That in turn earns you cheap dollars . This is no magic. No other way out! |
Thabothabo101:Everyone of those phones is a dummy. Waste of time and energy. |
Big lie! Cost of electricity and diesel is the main problem. And this is not peculiar to only chicken republic. Most big eateries will shut down soon if things continue this way. |
N25m is not the issue here because it has been paid back long ago. The issue is Psquare trying to stop or retrieve the payment by using the court. And the court having thoroughly looked at the case felt Psquare wasted their time and that of Patrick and then awarded 1m to Patrick for the time. The main issue now is the 1m. It’s too small for all the time and money Patrick would have wasted. For me, Patrick lost heavily in this case and that was what the naughty twins wanted. |
sweerychick:Haba, who thought you all these? 1. Bruce Lee was an American by birth but never lived there. He needed to get back to USA before he turns 18 so the citizenship would not be cancelled. As at that time, American citizenship was a very big deal. Nobody pursued him as he was not even popular in Hong Kong after some failed movie attempts. He simply went to USA to pursue the American dream like most people from Hong Kong. 2. The Chinese find it hard to assimilate into any society as they have that belief that their culture is not necessarily superior but the right culture to inculcate as a society. Confucianism comes into play here. It’s not about being secretive but about their way and rules guiding their lives. I lived in Hong Kong and mainland China for years and nobody stopped me from entering into any public space. Matter of fact, the Chinese are usually over exited to invite and give you a tour of their community. I don’t speak for the Chinese but these are my experience with them. A few Nigerians would have started shouting and constituting nuisance at the supermarket. Same situation taking place in black neighborhoods in USA. And for the fear of being labeled a racist, most of these shops owned by whites and Asians are closing shops. That being said, I totally condemn the restriction in Abuja Chinese supermarket and urge the necessary authorities to investigate and punish the perpetrators thoroughly. |
No name. No ministry. No portfolio. Very useless reportage. |
We mistaken a lot of things in this country. Just like constituency projects, creating new bills is not the most important thing a representative is supposed to be doing. The most important function is being actively involved and genuinely deliberating old or new bills brought to the floor. But if it’s by how many bills one has sponsored, then Dino Malaye should be the best senator Nigeria has ever produced. |
Juliusganduje:Why sir? Is that what the law says? Or because you are not okay with other aspects of her life? If so, why can’t you advocate they charge and jail him for those things? Let’s not add sentiments to certain things. Most Nigerians are guilty of this crime he was jailed for but yet walking free. Then the one that was convicted properly, you are requesting that more jail term should be added. Why? That’s clearly advocating for oppression and injustice. |
