ecolime:Some people think Mr Musk became a dollar billionaire by mere fluke or some padded government contracts. Dude is a dreamer, but a futuristic and purposeful one. |
franchasofficia:I approve this comment! |
Very sad mentality most of us Nigerians have. Using little and personal occasions for fund raising. Committees for wedding, naming ceremony, proposal, graduation to great grandfathers burial. I so detest such committees, especially constituted only to raise money. |
online4business:There are also a lot of extracts of natural things our body doesn’t also need. 5 bottles of coke or Fanta in a month is not out of place. Point here is moderation. |
samwash:You are only calculating from one side. Do you know if that’s the only major source of sugar to his body? Our bodies also need sugar. For lack of it can also be disastrous to our nervous systems. Everything should be done in moderation. |
Much respect to the revered man of God. As much as I believe he made the prayers with good intentions, it came off as selfish and unchristian. Jesus will not make this kind of prayer. You love your wife and wouldn’t want her to be depressed or treated bad while you are gone. Good. But God may still have further and critical assignments for her while you are gone. Again, she’s younger than you. Why should her life be cut “short” just because you have lived out your own time? Christians must be focused! |
God is not the problem but man. Some of the issues like good health, shelter, food, Clothings, security has been conquered in OECD countries. These countries don’t pray for such, they worked it out and almost perfected it. The only tool to working it out is quick, effective and equal justice system. In Nigeria; Religious and tribal bigotry gives way for ineffective justice system … which in turn breeds corruption. This in turn breeds underdevelopment. No need blaming God for our intended shortcomings. Be reminded that I’m not here to prove to you whether God exist or not. Just here to prove to that humans have the sole right to make or destroy their environment. |
Wigs and artificial hairs are turn of for most, if not all men I know. And most women know this. Truth is they wear wigs and artificial hairs to impress their fellow women. Definitely not to impress any man. How a living human being subjects herself to a torture of putting on smelly wigs in this weather is what I can’t explain. And how hideous, fake and dirty it looks when they plaster the wigs to blend with the already painted face and forehead makes me laugh and cry at the same time. |
I’ve heard about this man way before he became governor. Them say him no dey like “corporate” like normal Nigerian politicians. They said he doesn’t cut corners. I hope he brings that lifestyle into Taraba government. |
jrobbins:The way we Nigerians blame independent businessmen dey baffle me o. These guys, especially the fuel marketers go through a lot in this environment. If not paying huge amount of bribe to buy fuel on time, the tanker is falling on the dilapidated roads to their destination. Not to talk about the numerous taxes by the government, task force, Agbero, thieves, police and civil defense. They go through all these and we expect them not to utilize any small opportunity to recover their loses? It’s up to the government to provide enabling environment for these guys and then set up special task forces to checkmate their excesses. The other day, the talk was against POS operators adding extra charges. If the bank is working efficiently, pos guys will be so irrelevant. So, who is to be blamed now? Best bet is whoever has issues with increase in prices of private goods and services should either confront the government to provide subsidies and other enabling environment or simply open his own business and then use it for charity. This is by no means an endorsement for shady business people. |
Very careless and useless talk. There have never been any problem between the 2 groups. APC thugs only have problem with whoever votes against Tinubu’s interest. Be it Igbo, Yoruba or Ijaw. |
Confirmedzombie:Why waste your time to condemn it? Just use the bank. Abi did any pos operator use gun to threaten you guys for patronage? Misplaced attack I must say. |
helinues:Oga, not everything is LP vs Tinubu. Learn to condemn bad when you see it. And if you don’t have enough information, you ask. Chimaroke is a very dangerous man. Everyone in the south east (both APC, PDP and other parties) can’t be wrong about him. Here you are recommending him for an appointment even when there are reputable and intelligent young APC guys that worked very hard for Tinubu in Enugu state. Haba! |
I love it. He is a very corrupt weak fool! I also love it when thieves arrest and deal with thieves. Hopefully, someday; those thieves arresting thieves will be arrested and dealt with too. That being said, we all know that the main reason for his recent ordeal is because of the cashless policy that made it almost impossible for corrupt politicians to buy votes from the polling units and thereby leaving massive room for litigations and evidences in the election tribunal. If not for this,, he would have stayed out his tenure with so much praises. Buhari was shocked with how politicians used money to influence the PDP and APC primaries. He quickly went and ambushed them at the general elections using the cashless policy. He used Emefiele to carry that out. Buhari succeeded to a great extent even though corrupt politicians fought back. They fought back as if they don’t know that only the cashless policy can eliminate corruption and insecurity. They were only fighting for themselves. But it was too late. Buhari who was praised by these corrupt politicians earlier for disobeying court orders on other issues was now being called unprinted names for disobeying court order on cashless policy. He succeeded in making sure the stacked up billions was useless until after the election. Someone has to pay for this massive upset. Emefiele. Fortunately for all of us, Emefiele has other baggages around his neck. The cashless policy hit northerners far more than it his southerners. But the northerners hardly cried about it because they knew what buhari was trying to achieve with it. |
Gbenga4ever1411:Which other performance or achievement do we expect from our leaders if not exactly what he has ordered for? Accountability! Any system; be it private business, government, country etc that’s in shambles is not because of lack of experts or good policies. .. it’s simply because of lack of accountability. |
Depriest2020:We should all be happy with these kinds of expose’. We shouldn’t be giving these alleged criminals clues on how to evade the law. |
To win anything in Imo state, you have to either be a member of APC or LP. But if you decide to remain in PDP; you have to be more popular than the party itself. |
Emmypure:He didn’t go any far. He is saying the truth. It’s not a secret. The truth is only hard to digest because it’s coming from someone who has been a major and a long term collaborator in the illegal business. A thief calling out a thief. Na waoh. The military will only issue a “warning” and then move on with their lives. No questioning. Because if they try it, the evidences are there to make heads roll in the Army and Navy. |
If true, then that’s very good for Nigeria. So because you know their crimes and you refused to raise a serious alarm, you now think they will spare you when the table turns around? Nigerian government officials must learn by force! The current government must carry on with more arrests. Hopefully, someday, it will get to the turn of thieves who are arresting thieves today. |
LandMann:How many educational topics do you want on front page at once? The sole aim of this forum for the owner is to make money while impacting different demographics with information and extensive discussion. If the information you need on front page is not there, do well to find them in over 20 sections of this forum. I can assure you that the controversial Berlusconi will be major political topic of discussion in every country of the world today. Nigeria will not be an exception. If you doubt, try googling his death in any major political fora of any country in the world today. |
No seat was reserved for sitting and outgoing governors. They were expected to be in their various states handing over to their predecessors. |
Tolumiide:Maybe. But be aware that over 125 persons were butchered in plateau state same day in Nigeria. 10 Mexicans vs 125 Nigerians. |
faridasr:Nigerian youth no understand simple talk at all. Some Iya Basira are 44, some are 50 while some are 75. Iya Basira is a general term I used for thousands of our women who labour everyday to cook for us in different bukas across the nation. They labored more than any record breaker without being noticed. My mom was a typical example when we were growing up. Not taking anything away from the energetic Hilda. |
Create your own niche? How? Someone already did it before Hilda. How is it a new niche because Hilda did it? Why is it a sin for another person to do it after her? I admire her tenacity, strength and business acumen. Aside from that, it’s just cooking that Iya Basira has been doing for 30 years since when she was 14 years old. She wakes up by 3am to start cooking in a more local and tedious kitchen. She cooks and serves to people till around 10pm with all the insults and little profit. She barely has up to 3 hours to sleep, then she wakes up by 3am again with the same routine. Be aware that we have thousands if not millions of Iya Basira across Nigeria. But Nigerians instead of looking for someone who has the potential to invent something that will assist our daily living, we ignored it and started holding concerts for who is cooking rice and making eba. Haba! Other people saw it as an easy way to cash out. What is required? Just be energetic, stand and cook for over 100hrs and boom! Governors and presidents will come and eat your rice. Endorsements and flight tickets to holiday destinations across the world. Now tell me why most people won’t try to break the record? It’s just an “easy” and a not too brain cracking competition. If it was an invention in aero dynamics, engineering or medicine, Nigerians go give chance asap! And why didn’t Indians and Europeans try to break their sister’s record? Because it’s irrelevant to the general public. Such records only benefit just the per takers. Nothing more! As for more beneficial competitions and inventions, Indians, Asians and Europeans are breaking their countrymen’s records on daily basis. Special Regards to the energetic Baci! |
Osibanjo that may become the next president of Nigeria sef. Come to think of it; is your lovely Buhari going to stay back at the villa? |
Very useless talk here and there. One wonders whether some Nigerian youths are capable of forming a balanced opinion. Almost all officers caught on video in recent times harassing citizens have been punished mainly by expulsion from the force. That’s a big deal! Why then do you think they will watch you molest an armless officer and let you go free? Because you are Fela’s son and you have a tour coming up? What a joke. Look, both the civilians and the force men must learn to respect themselves in this country. We can’t continue like this. |
anonymous1759:You may even be more of a simp than you think I am. No need for insults. I’m also not arguing with you. I simply asked a couple of questions and you decided to only point out Kanye west. Now, Kanye’s child support to Kim is $200,000. Not $2m per month. Be aware that Kanye makes close to $10m per month. Kanye has never complained to anyone about the child support money because Kim also pays almost the same amount for the upkeep of the children. Loads of maintenance and bills for the upkeep of these rich kids. All I know Kanye complains about is that he doesn’t have enough time with his children, and that is bad. But her complaints for the restrictions is because he can be erratic and suicidal sometimes. Same reason she filed for divorce. She could not keep up with the drama. She’s not Kanye’s mom who can keep up with all the drama. I’m not big fan of the kardashians but with the information we have on the net and street, they are ride or die kind of girls. If you followed her relationship and marriage with Kanye, you will find out that she was very submissive and loyal to Kanye. Kanye decides her wardrobe and lifestyle. Where she goes and where she doesn’t. She stayed put even when Kanye was very broke and begging for money online. She even supported him financially so he could pursue his dreams. But it was getting to Kanye’s head that she can’t do without him. Kanye was over taking advantage of that and she had to separate while waiting and believing Kanye will get his acts together. Kanye with the ego, didn’t bother to apologize because of his usual ego. He believed she will always come around as usual even when he messes up. This time, she got fed up and filed for divorce while leaving room for Kanye to come around. He didn’t and she went her way. Where did Kim go wrong here? How did she gold dig when she was the one who suggested a prenup? What she requested for in the divorce papers was only properties and businesses she purchased equally with Kanye. She never asked for Kanye’s personal property. Not even 1% of it. $40,000 per child of 5 children is very average for Kanye west children who Kanye likes giving the best of life. Let’s even talk about it. How much was Kanye worth before he married Kim? As at then, Kim was said to be richer than Kanye. But at the end of their marriage, Kanye was a billionaire. Yet kim didn’t ask for a dime of Kanye’s wealth. She only for half of their business and properties they purchased together. Or was she supposed to leave all for him? I’m not against Hakimi tactics given what the wife requested for. But comparing his wife to the kardashians or janet Jackson clearly shows that you just want to hate on people or you are just ignorant. |
anonymous1759:Who did the Kardashian gold dig on? Just name one person? Is it Lamar, Kanye or Humphrey? Look, being a sucker for fame is not same as being gold diggers. The kardashians are self made millionaires and billionaires. Janet Jackson too? How? Are you aware she had a prenuptial agreement with the ex husband? And he agreed to pay her 500m if she’s married to him for more than 5 years. It was a contract as a result of fantasy Arabian billionaires have for American celebrities like Janet and even Mariah Carey. They both got what they wanted. Now, how’s that gold digging? |
aswani:Na Waoh! Indians has some of the best trained physicians in the world with a fantastic professional work ethic when monitored. Cubans too. And so therefore are the highest sort after. It has absolutely nothing to do with the ancestry of the PM. |
In other words, Ugwuanyi and co rigged for Peter Mbah, but deliberately forgot to do same for Chimaroke. After all, there were his political sons and this was what he use to do for them. Ingrates? Fukcing murderer! |
MeineMutter:It was not about the man or love for him. It was a pride thing. She would have taken the same action even if the said man is the poorest, the least attractive and least desired man on earth. “How can a girl I’m more beautiful than be able to score my man?” |
Tadadobe:Most people don’t understand the reason for the action. Just like you said, it may have little or nothing to do with love for the said man. It has everything to do with ego and pride. Her deceased friend may have been lesser attractive than her, yet she was able to snatch her so called boyfriend. |
