12 Things Not to Buy During the Holidays

Before you complete that shopping list for the holiday season, here are some items you are better off not buying during these seasons. Here are 7 items that are even cheaper before or after the holidays.

Televisions
Prices have plummeted over the past seven years for some amazing flat-screens and big-screens. But if you really want to give that special someone the gift of HDTV, you might want to wait until February. Retailers will start lowering prices on last year’s models before new models start hitting the stores in March. The best deals follow the Super Bowl in early February. You could save a few hundred dollars.

Linens
Wait for "white sales" in January before buying sheets, blankets, towels and more. The tradition of department stores discounting linens in January started back in the 19th century. Now, even some catalog retailers follow suit, offering deals in their issues that come out at the beginning of the year. Look for discounts ranging from 10% to 60%.

Tools

I would like to hear from people who have actually had issues with online purchasing. Like their cards numbers been jacked and you get strange messages of withdrawals you never made, or your account debited without a corresponding purchase that most of the time is corrected by banks after waiting for , , or you simply don't get the products you after payments. And am not talking about the speculations here, i need actual experiences, or at least first hand gist.

I for one haven't experienced such before but i still keep a separate bank account for my online purchases, so if water pass garri i'll at least have done some damage control.
