What northerners look out for first is tribe and not party, remember PDP did well in the north central last time so they only need to improve on it and with transmission of votes and alertness PDP will still get atleast 50% in the entire North and come down south to finish tinubu.
If tinubu contests election in any party aside the two major parties, he won't even win 2 million votes, he can defect to sdp and try it.

He will never visit SS or SE to consult as he is always going to the North but he can send money to renegades to endorse him.
