SorftWerk: ur own excuse is very understandable...but the op seem to be proud of hers...
The OP already lost count of her own body count while she's still unmarried. Who knows how many recount in hundreds or thousands she will have before nailing down a man to slow the count down.
Just concluded watching the 2017 AMVCA and ironically the top four most glamorous awards
The best actor The best actress The best movie director The beat movie
Were all awarded to the Igbos.
Coincidentally the manager of MTN West Africa which is the chief sponsor of the award is also Igbo.
It's no coincidence these awards were doled out to the best act without any hullabaloo from every other tribe in Nigeria because we believe the winners were deserving.
I believe my Igbo country men will argue this was won on merit which i agree. Personally i have seen 76 by Ramseh Noah and it happens to be one of the best if not the best movie i have seen by a Nigerian without any visible foreign influence.
I want this post to serve as a reminder for the day when no Igbo personality will win any category of the top four awards n most importantly when the manager MTN West Africa or whoever the chief sponsor will be at that time no longer will be of Igbo origin.
I pray n hope our beloved Igbos brethren will be as magnanimous as other Nigerians have been when that happens. Hopefully they will not wail themselves to death when that happens. Cheers.
APCHaram: Already certain voices in the north are already crying out that "power must remain in the north " irrespective if Buhari is in a vegetative state in a London hospice or dead for good.
This should serve as a warning from the north to afonjas that they (north) will not agree to another Yaradua saga which going by the constitution, automatically sees Osinbajo taking over the reigns of power.
Virtually all the forces that tried to truncate GEJ assuming full power back in 2009 are back in the corridors of power and are backed up by desperados from the Abacha era who having been out in the cold since 1998 and who are not in any way willing to vacate Aso Rock.
There is also the very fractured state of the south since the 2015 elections which naturally should not see the SS and SE eager to put their necks supporting the same yorubas jostling for power between their Lords and masters up north.
In as much as some of you afonjas tend to like deceiving yourselves, every indication from how the cabal are handling Buhari's health condition and the snub they are extending to Osinbajo which led him (osinbajo) on a fence rebuilding tour with the SS/SE, points to the fact that the north will never allow a repeat of the Yaradua saga that saw GEJ assume full powers. As things stand now, the only thing you guys have is a silent prayer that the north will adhere to the constitution.
I laff!
The north bowed to GEJ because of the leverage his region had on the polity.
What exactly are you guys going to do to counter a northern coup? Street protests? Social media rants? I laff!
Apart from Fayose and FFK, no single voice from the SW is complaining about the disturbing absence of Buhari. Rather the loudest voices condemning the President's absence is coming from both SS and SE.
This to me is a pointer of your cowardice and final acceptance of whatever fate the north has in the offing regarding an osinbajo presidency.
Personally, I will support a coup to prevent Osinbajo assuming full powers because I see him as a true definition of a coward who will end up being a northern puppet. Why support a puppet in place of the real deal?
In the nearest future, you guys will see just like the way fashola and Kemi are learning the hard way, that no be to open mouth dey yarn for outside but what you do when placed with the responsibility of office.
Osinbajo will be a big failure just like fashola and co and by that time ( if the north agrees to a kafuri president) una go know say GEJ was a true man and legend who weathered a full blown insurgency in the north sponsored and backed by Northern elites and their ignoramus population with GEJ successfully containing that boko nonsense in their useless north.
It came down to the north exploiting your greed, jealousy and envy to remove him from office.
Let us see Osinbajo smell the presidency when the cabal runs out of lame excuses on that Dead cadavar.
Imagine someone able to write and outline his thought meticulously as this OP but surprisingly exceedingly senseless. What exactly is damaging the brains of most of you Igbos ? It's extremely difficult to believe you willingly do this to yourself. How does one chose to be silly and senseless and feel so comfortable with it.?
APCHaram: The beast was gored and already down and wounded until they gave additional breathe to it.
By their actions in 2015 they took us back 40yrs and gave the northern beast more arrogance and audacity.
Ask them why they supported buhari and the north today and they can't give you a valid reason
Because Jonathan ruled like a kleptomaniac by declaring that the stealing of the national wealth is no corruption. If that's is not valid enough for you I do not kmow what will.
youngeagle: Must they keep him in custody b4 they can carry out there investigation,is EFCC a security agency? Why do they have a prison cell?,sometime I wonder what's the role of the police in a civil society.
You are an **** if you can not figure out EFCC is a division of the police in Nigeria.
Zoharariel: My greatest regret in the year 2015 was that I heard people yelling “Sai Baba” and I simply jumped on the bandwagon, not knowing I was fooling myself.
And 2016 some people are wailing you are ready to join that bandwagon again ?! It seem you are destined to live your entire life in regrets. Why not wait till the fuel pump is increased as at today fuel is lower than what it use to be in 2015 yet you are regretting, I doubt if you can ever live without regrets.
Regret is destined to be a part of your life, I would have love to pray you do not live your entire life full of regrets but there's no way you can escape regretting your entire life if you are complaining / wailng about purchasing fuel at reduced price compared to 2015 which you summed up as you year of Eldorado.
kYjelly2: Why can't we do shhh right in this country
Did you guys see how many gas power plants he listed Am I the only one that saw that
So we have like 90% gas powered plants and 10% hydro powered plants and that's it smh
So no coal
Even the U.S has about 40% coal powered plants, but here we just have our coal doing nothing
So what happens when you repair the gas pipelines for like 3 months and someone blows it all up in just 1 day Back to square one I guess, not so
Dumb murrrafvckers, mtcheew
Your brain is completely dead. You mean with about 9-11 dams he listed with the Mambilla dam alone to generate 3000 MW, not to talk of Kanji Shiroro the Ikorodu dam etc you mean gas still generate 90% of our electricity ? You deserve to be stoned to DEATH for your mischievous analysis simple.
wanimo: Buhari is opening many battle fronts for the Nigerian military. Boko Haram is still killing soldiers in hundreds, now militants who are better equipped than both the army and Boko Haram combined have joined the war against this government. I'm sure that by the time IPOB arms its members due to the continued killing of Biafrans by the army, Nigeria will not stand the heat for one month.
While you might be right the other two be rest assured the enrire enclave called Biafra will be vaporized in days should Ipob result to arm struggle. The hatred Kanu propagated into the @ of other Nigerians is still bright in our minds n we cannot wait to go. I particularly would love to give the igbo race a piece of the Rwanda genocide treatment so that next time you all will understand propagating hate is not the way to go.
For the Igbos fanning the embers of war please keep it up. Ensure that you built up enough hatred from the West, North n Central but ensure you read up on the Rwanda genocide and learn how many people from the tribe that fanned the ember of the genocide lost just btw 3 days. For those that will read up on it you will discover those murdered within those few days supercede the numbers of Igbos lost in the Biafran war.
Some of us are actually just waiting for the go to truly display the hatred you claim the Zoo as for you. One thing you can be rest assured if it happens is that Rwanda genocide will be a child's play. What will happen to you Igbo will forever erase the tiniest memory of Biafra. You can be rest assured holocaust will be inefficient to describe what will happen to you.
I am sure the English will need to coin a new word to describe what will happen to you. Something in the likes of EXTINCTCIDE or PERISHCAUST will be superb.
musicwriter: Education is not the same in Europe, Asia, America, Africa. Education in the other places; except Africa, is based on their own languages, terms, culture, point of view, history, e.t.c. During slavery and colonialism, the original model of education in Africa was removed and replaced with what white people believe to be education. Same way they made their own languages official in our lands while our languages were relegated to the back seat.
The prerequisite for formal knowledge acquisition in Nigeria is English. The prerequisite for formal knowledge acquisition in Benin republic is French. e.t.c.
No matter how intelligent a Yoruba boy, he cannot be educated in Africa, unless he speaks English. No matter how intelligent an Igbo girl, she cannot be educated in Africa, unless she speaks English. e.t.c.
Get it?.
It ought not to be so!!. Because, this alone cuts off a large chunk of the African population from knowledge acquisition.
Of course, you would not understand these things cause you're already a victim of the system. Our leaders too are already victims, because nobody escapes it.
Lord Kwame Nkrumah, the founding father of African independence noticed these problems in the 50's. He was so embittered that he called education in Africa a "fraud". Unfortunately, he didn't live to make necessary changes.
Indeed, Lord Kwame Nkrumah noticed the problem with education in Africa. After observing the distortion of education in Africa, he said .
As you can see, the father of African independence who schooled in about 3 American universities called education in Africa a fraud. He even went further to say in future this education would create the type of elites that would become a problem to Africa's development!. This's the same problem you've observed, but unfortunately you can't fathom the cause of the problem is education.
Another African scholar Mr. C. Tsehloane Keto, observed that education in Africa was faulty and that it makes us surrender power to foreigners. Mr. Keto said
All the above gives white people intellectual superiority over us- which is why you see a white man giving instruction for a job done by Nigerians. It's so because we the African people have not realized the foolery in what we call education- the education cuts us off from real knowledge acquisition!. It only indoctrinate us!. We no longer remember what we have today is not true education but an indoctrination fed us by the British and French. The intellectual superiority white people exert over us is so big that a white man boasted to me recently saying
He had the audacity to say such to me because he understands we're being fooled with what they fed us as education during colonialism. He understands that knowledge is only knowledge, if they say so. He understands they create knowledge and that all we can do in Africa is copy and paste. Yet, the saddest part is that while white people understands the damage and how western education mess up our minds, but we Africans don't!.
Until African nations re-invent education and eschew what Fela Anikulapokuti called ''follow follow'' and what Bob Marley called ''mental slavery'' we'll remain in this situation of looking up to white people as a standard.
I've researched the problem with education in Africa and I know exactly what the problem is. In order for Africa to develop we must create a model of education that’s grounded in African philosophy, ideals, point of view, history, culture, e.t.c. A model of education without colonial hangovers. The same model of education the Japanese have used to acquire knowledge to build technological wonders and went to the moon without western influence. I’m talking about a model of education that will work for Africa!.
Canada USA Malaysia India n many more have their education system tailored using English-language with English being the predominant language.
While there is nothing wrong with being taught in African languages, I think Africans should stop wailing about frivolities. The list of countries with English as the primary language of learning abound with such countries doing significantly beta than Nigeria.
Nigeria n Nigerians need to quit making illogical excuses for their failures n strive to ensure sucess is achieved with the inherited system from the British. The system is not the problem Nigerians n their leaders are.
Late NSA to Jonathan Gen Azzazi said on Live TV "Channels TV" PDP is boko haram and boko haram is PDP before his own kinsmen in the person of the drunk Jonathan Ebele gave the instruction that he must be assasinated like a piece of fowl and sadly at any cost. This is definitely not a surprise.
The number of Igbos that have become mentally deranged simple because Buhari won the election is alarming. Anyway you all have about 3 more years to wail your souls to the grave so please continue.
tit: oloriburuku vice president. the best way to transport goods from lagos to calabar is by sea.
Was that what your deranged father told you and how does the picture reiterate the nonsense you post ? The adjourning city btw Lagos n Calabar how do you transport goods to them ? You need to do the needful since you can not imagine an aboki ruling you, just get a rope and be gone.
It's a shame white people exert intellectual superiority over us in our own country. And it's the same no matter what African country you go.
It all boils down to wrong model of education in Africa. The system of education we run in Africa is still the same we inherited from colonial Britain. The education was originally meant to keep us dumb, unfortunately, it's still achieving it's purpose as you can see. It only allow the creation of follow-follow leaders and follow-follow citizens. So, we see airplanes fly and we even enter it, but we don't want to know how it was made. We see ships travel on water, but we don't care how it was built. All we want is buy the latest Prado jeeps, but we don't care about how it was made.
Our education system disables the African mind to want to explore scientifically, and it was intentionally made that way by Britain. Same for Francophone African countries.
The purpose of western education in Africa was created to do exactly what you saw in the pictures. I'm even surprised you noticed that, because many so called educated people who has been condemned by the system by default lacks the mental capability to ask such question.
Africa cannot develop until education is restructured and science taught in our native languages across Africa to enable children have inquisitive minds; like start building robots even from primary schools.
Africa cannot develop without investment in grassroots science
Wrong, the black race is just not ready for emancipation. Education is the same from Europe Asia Africa n the Americas. Anytime the black man is ready to do away with greed that is when Africa will progress.
The Europeans succeeded in taming their greed having realise there is no new land to be exploited or conquered, Africa is far from realising conquering n exploiting its populace will not augur well for its development. Its not about educstion, its more of common sense / intellingce of the Africa leader.
Ugonnax: No....all states cannot follow suit because all men are not created equal. Just as the Germans are more successful than their neighbors, Jews to their neighbors, so shall Igbos be to Yorubas and Hausas perpetually. No amount of envy, hate can change this...even if a yoruba or Hausa steals 900 billion, gets phd, work sun up to sun down, he can never be like Igbos...why? All men are not created equal!
Igbo boy if you like chest beat from now till the next millennium it does deny the fact that it is the Yoruba land you run to for success. Some land will forever remain like the biblical desert Moses passed try on his way to Egpty, the erosion ravaged land of you Igbo's readily comes to mind.
While you keep boasting it is on record there's no Igbo among the top ten richest in Nigeria
For every thing Obiano an Igbo as achieved there's a Yoruba living to let you know you will till eternity chase the shadow of the Yoruba just as Obiano IGR is behind Ogun / Amosun.
If your Obiano is working on building 4 overhead bridges always remba there's an Amosun that as completed 7 and presently working on extra three.
The story goes on n on. The endemic failures of the Igbo race at superiority in Nigeria is unquantifiable. From the first coup plotter, to the first mumu head of state without power, to the first war monger etc the Igbo race n its ambition is only synonymous with one thing in Nigeria and that is FAILURE. Disclaimer : It should be noted this view is strictly for the person quoted and not any sensible Igbo.
Godgay: god bless buhari for not uttering a word while people were being killed now he deploys a troop Whetter to protect his brothers we do not know, and you want one god to bless him
He should have ordered the troop to go and kill the herd men right ? That would make more sense to you ba ? Or would you have preferred he sent the troop to go and wake the dead ?
daylife7: In GST 101, it is called FALLACY (error in argument) if u ever wen to the university. ..you are avoiding the argument. Am not partisan. Read the first paragraph of the article
To talk about fallacy, errors in reasoning you must first be able to comprehend what precisely reasining is. That is where your lecturers failed. You were obviously thought type of reasoning but lack the intelligence to comprehend what reasoning was all about. If you had taken the time to educate your soul on that your comment of NL won't be as pathetic or appalling. Refer to my first quote of your comment for an astonishing example of what pathetic is.
daylife7: U just dey speak grammar: the guy is talking about approach of a government in its first tenure to quickly arrest d situation on ground. .....u think nigerian population is increased by 50%. Do u know the dead rate in this country. ....just shout up, if u don't have anything positive to add
You need to do more of the shutting up, you obviously have nothing to contribute and expect every sensible Nigerian to regret voting out the clueless thief from Otueke with his gang of thieves but alas you have 4 more miserable years to be tormented with the truth till you give up thinking every one will accept the bs the dimwit op posted or simply get a rope and do the needful.
darocha1: Congrats. Its unfortunate we Nigerians dont appreciate and hype our own. This reminds me of the great Jay jay okocha and how he neva won African footballer of the year due to lack of support from home. Oliseh mite have had ego issues, he mite have goofed in some ways on the eagles job but there were some points he raised during his resignation that no one cared to address. His recent appointment by FiFa shows he has worth and its our people in glass house who have issues. Congrats to the man Congrats to Nigeria
If someone say you have gone mad now, some will complain that is harsh. How can any living soul queried Nigeria love ' be it Hausa Igbo or Yoruba" for Okocha. For God sake what is wrong with you people ? If I take a wild guess concerning your tribe now you go be one born throway Igbotic slowpoke that enjoy running his mouth on NL but neglect making use of your brain.
ndcide: Suddenly anyone who does not agree with you becomes igbo. How shallow.
The FG have even attacked the state Assembly with gun shots everywhere. abducted lawmakers for no reason. What more do they want to do. J
You fight who you can beat. Carry your tribal stupidity comot jare.
I already said if the FG goes that route they'll become unpopular.
Being a bigot is not a crime against the constitution of the federal republic. Only those that are pained from the lost of the last election wail about any initiative from the present govt whether bad or good and we all know what tribe constitute 99.9% human of such obstinate reasoning.
