UjSizzle: Oh fvck you all jare angry Why can't powerful Thor be a woman? In fact I don vex biko. Thor must be a woman! angry
Uju is a girl, has always been a girl. Can she wake up one day as a guy? Maybe. If she doesn't mind, what of friends and family?

Thor is a man, has been a man. Turning him to a woman is an insult on fan intelligence. Why not create more female superheroes instead of messing up with the ones people already know?

Ridiculous! Thor cannot just become a woman. The feminist craze. Marvel has finally lost it.

@op, the biggest step in the solution to most problems is a removal of the cause. As long as she believes she'd burn in hell for making up (even if to look attractive to you), she wouldn't really listen to anything you say if you are not supporting the motion.

Try to use the same Bible. Good news is, it doesn't truly condemn those things. That teaching is just misapplied scriptures quoted out of context. However you need to be conversant with what the Bible says and be skillful in reasoning from it, to stand a chance.

You could either try to convince her yourself (with the Bible or you'd just sound selfish and she'd even start praying for your ignorance to be cured), or get someone she respects (religion-wise) to do it. I'd advice you do it yourself. That would mean actually believing the and doing research though. I could help you with verses if you want.

Choose your words wisely, as women get hurt by words (even if it's the truth) more than many realise. Be patient with her, and don't lose your temper if you don't see quick results. You might also need to show her examples of religiously devout women who have not abandoned their appearance.

Whatever you do, don't cheat! There's simply no excuse for that.

donmarshia: Nigerians like to dey form James Bond. Love and attraction are two different things. OP no mind dem. Of course you should not cheat but her appearance is a red flag as men are moved by appearance when it comes to sex. A man could love his wife but if she becomes dirty and unkempt, then he would lose any form of physical attraction but wud still love her.
The OP is scared of losing the attraction he has for his wife and has laid a valid complaint. Bashing him won't help, no man wud accept this situation without raising an eye brow.
Op pls appeal to ur wife and tell her that ur attraction to her is physical and cud affect ur sexual desire for her if she continues like this but pls do this with understanding and respect.
Let her know u still love her and will always do.

King Marshia
no mind them. They claim to be able to read between the lines, whereas they can't. Lots of ignorant and self-righteous comments up there.

The fact that marriage is for better or worse does no give any partner the right to give the mate 'worse' without any regard for his/views.

Cheeun: grin*yimu* na una go breastfeed the infant abi? You people had better get ur lazya*s to work now. See dem lol undecided
is breastfeeding all there is to parenting? So far tomorrow you no complain say husband no dey get your time (or the children). Old habits die hard.

6 months is too damn long by the way. Relatives do most of the work. All many new mothers do is eat, breastfeed, eat, get fat, eat, breastfeed... Why should the government pay for that?
Family › Re: Lagos State Introduce Six-month Maternity Leave, 10 Days For Fathers by Oahray: 9:07pm On Jul 17, 2014
egopersonified: Please ohh after six months, can we have another six months of working half day, and bring the kid to work for this extra six months ohh, so the child can just start sch at a year old. For the ten days, its too much now, all they need is three days max. Pls fashola, consider my appeal.
ten days is too much for fathers?

See why some women should just be dumped in the hospital to give birth when she likes? Maybe after giving birth, the man can look for time to come pick them up. If there is no time, since his work is more important, and he doesn't need to spend time with his family, they can find their way home.
Family › Re: Lagos State Introduce Six-month Maternity Leave, 10 Days For Fathers by Oahray: 8:16pm On Jul 17, 2014
Nice. Many people have no idea the stress loving husbands go through during the period their wives go into labour. More time to spend with the family. Bonding truly begins from birth with fathers.

Toks2008: Who is this? Is it that you never went to school or you lost your decorum? why this unwarranted sarcasm? When has it become a crime to air one's views on a public fora.

I will inform Seun to do some psychological evaluation in the mode of answering some psychological questions before people register on nairaland. This display of immaturity is getting out of hand.

Toks2008: This is a very dry thread and i can see that most ladies have very low self esteem or maybe they are not just poised for social media or probably ashamed of their looks,

If this happens to be an American forum im so sure many ladies will upload their pics just for the fun of it.Thumbs up for those few who uploaded theirs.

Most Nigerian ladies are so dry and hypocritical.
abeg drop superstory. Na by force to upload? Some uploaded, did you even acknowledge them? No. You'd rather focus on those who didn't. Useless negative mentality.

Some people like their privacy. Deal with it or get off the thread.

Everyone (normal) acts better (and at times preen) around good-looking persons of the opposite sex than around ugly ones. At times, we might not even realise it. It's nature.

Judas2013: You wouldn't understand the word written on the door if the were written in German. Probably it might mean DANGER!
true. But it takes a literate person to realise it's not english but german and source for the meaning. I know some german words though I've never been there.

Bottom line is, literacy can make up for little exposure.
