sandijey: My mum says in yoruba. If u are not gonna eat something. Don't put it near your nose to smell it. It is totally wrong to friend zone anyone. It is a different thing if both of u have no feelings for each other. But honestly when a man or woman has feelings for u. It will show. Such feelings are stronger than friendship. Some people like to play dumb because they are greedy and think of themselves alone. They are users and they just want to satisfy themselves only.
It is difficult to remain just friends wiv someone u love. you need to break such a relationship especially if there is no hope. Its torture.


My own experience happened when I newly entered Unilag. I made the biggest mistake by joining blw. "Church" there was this student pastor who was all over me. And he was in his final year. This guy would call me everyday. Sometimes we would go to the library together. It was just a healthy relationship. Until he started asking intimate questions and then he started telling me things and then the way he would look at me and touch my face.....chaiiiiiii. he kept on encouraging me to come to church too. Me and him became so close all I needed to hear was "seyi" be my girlfriend.

Suddenly o. The calls stopped. He would see me in church and try to avoid me. When we even sit down for meetings, he started treating me like an ordinary church member. I no gree o. Was still tryna be friends wiv him. I was calm for a long time until I opened up to my friend. In my friends hostel, she also had a blw member. My friend then asked her room mate about that particular boy. That one started pouring like a tap. She mentioned 5 other girls that I new in the fellowship who he had friend zoned like me and she has also being friend zoned by him. It was the same pattern he used for them that he used for me. I used to notice how those girls stare at me and him. I thought they were jealous. I didn't no they were pitying me. Apparently that is how he gets girls to stay in the church. He will get close to you, form a kind of intimate friendship and den vamoose. Live u high and dry


Well it did not end there. I confronted him shaperly...... and u no what he did? he acted like he did not no what I was talking about. Please do not confront a serial friend zoner. They always feign ignorance and turn you to a fool.......

JoeCutie: But there's something about this 'FriendZone' of a thing oo. Sometimes, you that's believed to be zoned will then be zoned by the zoner right into the main zoned thang. Na you go come dey chop the punimontulous pitakwa; in so far as you play your card well. People don't know this; sometimes once you're FriendZoned, you're one foot into the main thang. Just relax, use your nature-given brain, draw the map, set out your goal & follow it up. You'd soon see yourself singing the song of victory. missberrypop5: i na aro nro. U still get too much igbo man mentality. I prefer relationships which are rooted in friendship. That's my only reason i can place a guy in friendzone, to study him before saying yes. And i can't place someone or a guy in friendzone, if i have someone already. Though some guys deh use them hands put themselves for friendzone. My ex was my best friend. And our relationship lasted for 3yrs before he found out we weren't made for each other, and till now, getting in another is becoming a problem. So when i posted that a girl who usually places someone in friendzone, can have feelings for him, i meant it.
