Even if it will cost your precious life? Well, if God can promise me heaven if I sacrifice my life for someone to live, then I can
Not just any 'someone' o... It's not like you would originally set out to give it up anyway. There are only a few moments like that though, moments that would forever haunt if you look the other way.

It's better felt than explained.

Compromise is the right word. But erm.....there are some things I can't give up for anybody
hmmm... I like to think compromise can comfortably hide under self-sacrifice's large umbrella, and flex muscles only when disagreements arise tongue

We never know the things we can give up until an unexpected situation calls for it, until the people we cherish the most on earth look us in the eyes, with pleading eyes filled with fear, helplessness, and that tiny glimmer of hope.

Lol. I like this kind play. Ok, not with toy guns sha. I don't like role-play simulation of violence.

Couples should be able to play together like kids at times.
Romance › Re: Difference Between Love And Like by Oahray: 2:48pm On May 04, 2015
Self sacrifice. That's the one thing that makes love stand out. The willingness to give of yourself for the other person despite the discomfort, despite personal loss.

Influence ke? No o, not at all. The dude i corrected was already committing crime number 2. grin

Sorry to say, but this list won't influence any girl to be more expressive of herself unless she's been the expressive type, or have been through a lot of bashing and have now gotten what it takes to fight back. I think once some ladies have mastered the terrains of Romance section, they learn how to be more expressive.
no, not the list. The comments on the thread.

Anyone can be expressive, but not everyone truly expresses him/herself. Not everyone here says what he/she truly thinks. Some just wait for others to comment, and then they rephrase it and try to pass it off as an original thought. That's not the kind of expression I meant.

One doesn't need to know the terrains of Romance section to say what she truly thinks about issues, unless she's a people-pleaser. It's the era of herd mentality and it favours the conformist.

LOL. I'm already a victim of my own prediction (number 2). I just had a little tussle with Logicalmind. grin

Number 5 might even happen this night. And why such sick trends continue is because they drive traffic. Brain-engaging relationship threads, unless on FP, hardly gets past two pages unless they're filled with derailed posts.
hehehe... You sure say you fall victim, abi you be dey try influence the fulfilment?

While this thread is sort of cliché with the whole list and names thing, I like some of the comments on it. Even if all it does is influence some girls to be more expressive of themselves, that's alot.

One of these things are gonna happen on this thread:

1. It'd be moved to the General section.
2. Invective will be hurl at each other.
3. It'd lead to deep-seated beef.
4. Posts might get hidden.
5. At the end of it all, by tomorrow, another "Top 10 Romancelanders" will be created and which will undergo this same treatment. *sigh*
lol. You go fear prophecy na. Number 2 has already started happening (no prediction here tongue). Number 3 naturally follows number 2 most times. Number 5 is a feature of romance section that has come to stay (with this generation).
Romance › Re: Have you? by Oahray: 8:02pm On May 03, 2015
Your thread doesn't make any sense. What has the name got to do with what happens in it? Call it 'relationshap' and there would still be heartbreaks in it.

How do people manage to leave important things and face the flimsy?

Lolz... Nice one, cutieberie. I can neither endorse nor refute your list sha. I'd look out for the names here.

There are two names I was expecting. Maybe they aren't the typical romancelanders.

So dem true true no reach ten? tongue

What kinda threads have y'all been visiting? It would explain y u guys have this fallacious conclusion. I know some smart chicks here. Not about to give names. smiley
I like how you make it sound like we are talking based on hearsay. No be this romance section wey we know? Even the guys no dey try like that, but you don't see threads like this created a million times by guys to compliment their own looks.

I'm not even talking about those ladies who spend time uploading various shots of their ass, and arguing who has the better one.

I know a few smart ladies too, but I can't call them romancelanders without some sort of pang of conscience. Pray, tell, your list reach 10 persons?

So op, do you agree with everything you posted or what?

In your topic, you asked 'why', indicating that you agree it is correct. Then in your post, you say it wrong.

Make up your mind.

Me seriously doubt if this section would be able to provide up to '5 smart girls'. They`re all dumb pathetic asses with fluctuating IQ`S. Even the few smart ones you could manageably pick out still possess some bits of unintelligence if properly checked or diagnosed. As TSOM, Would put it, "they are featherbrained hamanoids".
ha! Bros, take it easy o. Give our girls a benefit of doubt.

Meanwhile, this is a challenge to Romance Section. They say we don't have up to 5 smart girls here. Na truth?

Hmmm... When would someone ever come up with a 'smartest girls' list on this section sef? I'm interested.

Now you're talking. ...
so you wear make up for the guys.
But it means any guy who likes you is actually in love with a false person. Not really you.
I'm a guy, but I try to walk in other persons' shoes before judging them.

I see no reason why girls cannot makeup for guys, after all, we are the only two gender versions of the human specie that planet earth has. Guys go out of their way to impress girls too (though we'd like to deny it).

If your last statement is correct, girls aren't the only ones guilty of it. Haircuts, clothes, fragrances... These would mean girls like false guys. So should we all stop using them? No?
