What if the phone has been kidnapped and switched off? |
Why does your post sound like it's justifying rape? No one is MADE to rape (it's a willing decision), and konji isn't uncontrollable. |
Please let's try to reduce the number of silly threads this section produces everyday ![]() |
Of course display pics matter. They help shape whatever impression I already have of a person. But they wouldn't make me relate with you any more or less than I already do. |
Minemrys:you'd judge between two movies with just their trailers? Smh. Well, I wont, even if I've seen both teasers. When I watch both movies, I can choose which is the better movie. I am not a fanboy of either comic universe, and I don't fall for trailer-inspired hype anymore. |
Hmmm... |

Dygeasy, what has happened to the Miss NL contest? |
sage1000:bros you wise jor. The DC vs Marvel argument is lame. I'd enjoy interesting movies, regardless of who makes them. |
If you are talking based on the child's need, and not just wants coupled with the parent's indulgence, then it's the female child, obviously. However, gender isn't the biggest of determining factors. Children with special needs would always require more resources, regardless of gender. A parent with a favourite child is likely to spend more on that one, even if he/she doesn't really need it. Your talk about supporting male children past the mid twenties, doesn't hold water. Many guys are already hustling for themselves way before then. Many girls stay with their parents till marriage, but guys would likely move out to seek greener pastures. |
fhunn:ok, if animals started dying because man sinned, why is it that Jesus died for humans only? Animals cannot exercise faith in Jesus, can they? So no hope. If you insist that is so, then you are still agreeing that God's love for man is on the basis of being created in God's image. That stance, though, would mean animals are dying cos of a man's sin but can't be saved because of a man's sacrifice. Sounds pretty unfair. However if you agree that human sin had nothing to do with animal death, then you are agreeing that man is special anyway, since only his death is given a remedy. Animals dying isn't a big deal. Either way, God treats man as special because he loves man in special way. Were such love unconditional, he'd love the animals that way too. You haven't disproved this. When I say animal death, I'm talking about natural death. Before they started being used as food. |
Wow! The way she writes... ![]() |

Hmmm... Thought provoking. He's right about the part where people are more critical of fellow blacks. I think it's a mentality most Africans are raised with. However, I didn't miss the fact that the two incidents happens two years apart. Anything could have happened in two years. A homophobe could become a lil bit more tolerant in two years. |
standd:hehehe... The pilot? e-boo? *modified* My 10,000th post ![]() |
fhunn:well, there was a tree of life, from which they (Adam and Eve) weren't prohibited. They might have eventually eaten from it and lived on, had they not sinned. As for natural disasters, we can only speculate. What is clear, however, is that man's disobedience didn't cause the death of animals. They were evidently meant to die from the start. They weren't created in God's image, and as such, weren't as special. |
standd:awww... You flatter me. Looks like I'm the only one without pleasant memories of a 'first love' though. I might have to look for a way to disqualify her and rewrite my own history... As soon as I'm sure what a first love really is. Is e-singleness one of your conditions for the _____ ( ) you are offering? I em... *sweating* I'm an e-monk. |
charlsecy:examine the fact that the person is chosen out of the billions of other men or women alive, and you'd find your answer. Something must have brought them together to that point where other healthier or richer persons couldn't reach. Saying it is conditional is not the same as saying it selfish. I think people confuse both concepts alot. |
fhunn:no human sin has no link with animal death. If man sinned, he was the one to die. The bible made that clear. I'm not saying God doesn't love animals. He just loves humans way more. It is not without reason. |
Dannidom:of course. The condition being that I'm me. That's the only condition most people need. The condition had already been met before consciousness as an infant. Some others need more than that, so they slash their wrists and inflict pain on themselves (you can research this). Now if it were possible to have a clone of myself, identical and all, and he tried to kill me, I'd still do anything to protect myself, even if it means hurting him, and even if he is biologically the same as me. Survival instinct So what were you saying about unconditional love? |
fhunn:humans alone are specifically given dominion over the earth by God. Animals didn't need to commit any sin before they started dying. They have no remedy for their death either. The actions of humans made God flood the whole earth once, killing animals too. Only humans were given unlimited slots in the ark, all they had to do was just believe Noah, and walk in before it became too late. A third elephant wouldn't have been allowed into the ark even to save its life. God gave permission for animals to be killed for food, but not humans. Let me stop there. Remind me how God doesn't love man more than animals. |
firestar:You know Donna? Ha! You no be small pikin o. Good evening ma ![]() |
shachris03:hmmm... no levels? Someday, you'd realize that love isn't black and white, that it blossoms and fades. How can you even argue about love when you don't know something that basic? I really am done here mehn. |
shachris03:lol. Read what you are answering again. Love either FULLY exists or doesn't exist at all? Either you love someone completely or do not love at all? You'd understand better someday. I'm still laughing at the unconditional biscuit analogy. Thanks for making my evening, bro. See ya ![]() |
shachris03:lmao! What an analogy I also used to think that love was something preset, something that either exists fully or doesn't exist at all... Black or else white. But that was several years ago. If you think your illustration makes any sense, so be it. We can agree to disagree. Let the readers judge. It was nice discussing with you. |
