My opinion, and it still stands, can be different from yours.

None of that BS crap you listed is worth the US $ stated and I know that it's just what can be easily documented. There are more hidden away.

Good day.
Bro I think you are more familiar with charge and bail lawyers, you have no idea what successful lawyers earn, no disrespect.

I actually thought he is richer than this.

These people are trying too hard to paint Buhari Angel-white can't you see? How can a human being be a 100% clean? I expect you guys to be smarter than this... He served Under Abacha, Nigeria's Greatest thief and you think he came out a 101% clean? Lol! Then you guys don't have the right to taint all those who served under GEJ As corrupt seeing he's you people's " most corrupt president ever"

About Osinbajo... where the heck did the guy get 94million + 900,000 USD from? A pastor? Oh maybe you made uptimum use of his opportunity as a commissioner... but I know you'll find a way to defend his possession of those funds seeing he's a member of your party. Had it been a PDP member declared half of this funds, you would have led a grand Wailing session bout it... SMH!

I Just don't understand you guys!

First he had no house in Abuja, Infact he ran into lots of debt in house rent to HE HAS A HOUSE IN ABUJA. His wife owns multimillion Naira Business in Abuja Yet he collected bank loan to purchase his Nomination forms, his daughter ( Unmarried) lives in London... also maybe in a rented house LOL, A city renowned to be expensive.... kai kai kai!!! Anyways, y'all free to believe what you want.
EgunMogaji:
If 50% of the heads of cattle are female then couldn't they have produced calves since then?

It's not compulsory to have companies in your name.

By the way the man has only N30 million in his account, I wager that many ordinary Nairalanders have that and hey were not Ex President. How much do the Presidents before and after him have stashed away in loot?

Let's be reasonable.

On the other hand I have lost ALL respect for the VP, it only took a minute. No Nigerian can have clean hands with that kind of assets, at least hands not clean enough to lead the country in case Buhari, God forbid, should falter.
For goodness sake Osinbajo is a SAN with a successful law firm. He is one of the layers that successfully handled many of the top gun electoral petitions all over the nation, and do you think these top lawyers charge peanut? Also I know he was a consultant with UN at a time... The guy is not a poor man. Not all successful people are drug pushers or corrupt.

The question is why exactly did you support him? I read a lot of commentary on his first incarnation (1984/85). He is following exactly the same script. He hasn't stepped out of character and yet you're coming here to tell us how you "owe him a duty to call him out". I hope you don't have a full time job because you've got one now.

When Mumuharry was selected by JegaJega, I was disappointed. I felt that the hapless denizens of this country deserved better than to be struck by thunder twice in the shape of that Dullard. Lately, however, I have seen the hands of my ancestors in the goings on here. They're guiding Dullarpo in his divine mission to break this colonial prison camp.
Bro make no mistake about it, i have no regret supporting PMB over GEJ. I will pick a man with 'lopsided' appointments over a clueless corrupt man to whom stealing is not corruption. I believe Buhari will give a damn concerning our cry over his appointment and rectify things. And I never saw him as a saint anyway, cos no man is a saint...but I know he is by far better than the man from Otueke.

I still have a problem with people seeing appointments as a sense of belonging.
I will be shocked if Onu supported Buhari for Appointment sake.
What is wrong with seeing appointments as sense of belonging to his government? How do people fully support a cause without having a sense of belonging to that cause?

Even modern managers know the best motivation to staff is to give them a sense of belonging to the company and its goal.

How does Buhari plan to have a successful run of affairs of the nation if some regions do not feel belonged to his government in a country like Nigeria? And one of the sins of Jonathan was fanning the flame of ethnicity.

I don't think so, I just didn't expect him to be that bitter
Put yourself in his shoes and you will understand his pain and disappointment.

For goodness sake, over 30 appointments from Buhari and not one position is good enough for SE? Haba! For all the insults and pain people like Onu and Rochas went through and their contributions, they deserve better recognition. Are we saying there are no competent people from SE?

There are so much work to be done and ethnic/regional bias is one burden Buhari doesn't need to take along, he should have been wiser with his appointments. He is the president of Nigeria including SE and not King of the North. Every part of the country should feel belonged in his government.

Those of us who supported him owe him a duty of crying out when he is not getting it right, else we wont be different from sycophants that surrounded Jonathan in his days who see no wrong in him.
PoliticsRe: Were People Right About Buhari? by OAM4J: 11:12pm On Aug 27, 2015
Obiagelli:
Sir, nigeria isn't multicultural than the US but we have structured our minds to focus on the wrong/irrelevant things expecially in this decade. Two of the 3 biggest appointments are southerners (firs and NNPC) this suggest to me that the president is more interested in competent people rather than balancing ethnicity.
Every elected president forms his government majorly with from his inner caucus, if there are more northerners in the trust pool of the President, we should let him work with people he knows can get the job done.
President Jonathan is licking his wounds today for surrounding himself with all manner of people.
It took a while for USA to get to where they are today, and they consciously worked to get there. Nigeria will get there with time, reason why GMB should not follow the path of Jonathan of flogging the sentiment of ethnic divide.

Fact is there are competent people from all ethnic groups and GMB should maintain a pool that include all.

I do not subscribe to his 95% to 5% ratio, after the election he is the president of all, including those who didn't vote for him... all have a right to feel belonged in his government.

Competence is just one part of the criteria and if we were to give it a score, I'd say competence takes 20% - 30% percent.
There's things like trust, ability to work together et al.

Buhari was born and bred in the north, you should know and expect that his most trusted allies would be northerners.
Agreed, but bro, Buhari is not just the president of his 'born and bread' North or the people he is is used to. He is the president of all Nigerian ethnic groups. Every part of Nigeria has a right to feel belonged in his Government. We need to build trust and harmony among all ethnics group until we get to a point we see ourselves as one like it obtained in US today.

You should not be President of Nigeria if you cannot build bridges across ethnics group. I dont want Buhari to be seen as Northern president, I want him to be seen as a Nigerian president.

Obiagelli:
Why do we seem to worry where who gets appointed comes from, we act like this appointments automatically mean "come and chop" rather than "come and work". We (rather they) keep quiet when the last government was appointing the biggest thieves from everywhere.
I would suppose a sane human being would be interested in how corruption free the president's appointments are rather than where they come from. It's not like when someone from your tribe is appointed you personally feel the impact. What is the fuss about?

Buhari has a 4yrs mandate, allow the guy choose those that can help him achieve the results he desires.
Many here know that I have been a strong supporter of Buhari since 2011, and I still believe he is by far better than Jonathan. But truth be told, his appointments get k-leg and the OP has a point.

We can not pretend that balancing appointments in a country that is highly volatile on ethnic sentiments like Nigeria is nothing. We are not USA or UK. Except GMB thinks no competent people can be found from other region which you and I know cannot be true.

I know competence should come before ethnicity but we can get competent people everywhere if we search diligently, so what stops GMB from getting only competent people while at the same time balancing his appointment.

I still keep faith with him, but truth be told he is playing the script of those who labelled him an ethnic bigot and I wish he chooses to be wiser and more sensitive. We know what followed the man that said he doesn't give a damm... I hope GMB gives a damm about these things..

You are not getting it. An honorary degree is like the chieftancy titles you get from Obas and the likes... It is inconsequential.

And read the news and digest it well, he did not forge anything or obtain it fraudulently. The University didn't say they didn't give him an honorary doctorate degree, but the news is that the University has been blacklisted since 2005 which makes their (The University) certificates/awards of less value. But then it is inconsequential since the degree is not an academic degree but an honorary degree.

We honestly cannot say if this is a better move until we have the details on how contracts are going to be awarded without the ministers' approvals.

I think we have enough agencies supervising contracts agreements and executions. IMO, these agencies should just be empowered to do their job well.

But let's get the details of the new arrangement 1st.

This question is solely meant to test your level of integrity. Your answer should be, having meticulously gone through the core values of the organisation which no doubt was in tune with my values as a being, I believe telling lies would be detrimental to the well-being of this organisation and negates the core values of the organisation. So therefore, if faced with such dire situation, my response will be toll the part of honesty, transparency and accountability which I strongly believe will in the long run favour the organisation.
True.

A lie does not save an organization in the long run. Employers believe those with integrity do not see lies as saving anyone in a long run. And if you can lie to safe an organisation, you will also lie to safe yourself.

Tehn's official Public Relation Officer (PRO) aka spokesperson instigated the attack... Individuals didn't attack me and my children on individual grounds, it was " Tehn members" that SOLELY attacked us under the guise of defending Tehn!!! And like I said it was specifically stated by the "Tehn members" attacking me that the reason I got roped in and attacked was because of the ish I had with "Tehn" that happened 7 months ago!!! THE POSTS ARE STILL THERE FOR YOUR PERUSAL MR MODERATOR!!! Hian!!! And I am simply exercising my right to state I don't wanna be dragged into osoronga stuffs so feel free to jump pass my posts! No one is forcing anyone to read! Abi Nairaland will collapse if OAM4j does not read my post ni undecided

You are the one being pedantic and trying to muddy the water, and I can see through your rigmarole/weak late attempt at damage limitation!!! Nairalanders were even reminded by Tehn members attacking me that I was being attacked for the "SOLE purpose of defending Tehn" on that thread. I don't expect anyone to be online 24/7, but a sizeable number of Tehn saw/rubberstamped these posts....And you jumped in saying you support them going personal but you are now trying to do a u-turn, hmmm, e de beru Olorun whilst remembering everyone is going to account for every idle word on judgement day undecided

Unless you want to lie to the house that Public Relations Officer no longer means spokesperson in English Language undecided
I thought you know better than this. So anytime a PRO of a group speak, even on the bed with his wife or during a heated argument with his friends or enemies online or offline he must be speaking for the group? Meaning he has no life and cannot speak outside the group? I give up!

Or is it that you are afraid of facing the individual alone but had to drag the group along to attract sympathy, making it look like TeHN as a group is fighting you?

For the record TeHN as a group has never discussed your family or children, we are not interested in your relationships; past present or future. Neither are we interested in your witches and wizards stories.

But if it makes you feel better, special and important dragging TeHN into your fight or if your goal is to tarnish the image of TeHN because you have an issue with one of TeHN members then go ahead.

NEWSFLASH, Me and my children were being mocked on the other thread by your so-called professional Tehn, and they raised the DJDOLA incidence that happened 7 months ago on that thread with no respect for the dead... YOU ARE A MODERATOR SO CAN STILL SEE THE HIDDEN POSTS in said thread. If I entered that customer thread to respond to TEhn's attack on my children, it would get derailed and the customer would be the last person on everyone's mind... THAT WAS WHY I CHOSE THIS THREAD TO RESPOND!

I am a child of God and don't want to be dragged into/or associated with osoronga things!!! Especially one of such magnitude that is giving Deeper life sleepless nights!!!

Tehn are the ones who started this, not me, hence reason I opted for the legal route...By the way, I know the timeline of things and know "when" the Doctors were "recruited" onboard...
You are still making the same mistake of equating TeHN with individuals.

Did TeHN as a group mentioned/mocked/attacked you, and your children anywhere? NO!

Why is it difficult for you to separate and mention individuals that have issues with you from TeHN?

The moment you join TeHN in your attack then you include me and other innocent members of TeHN who have no business with you and your family and don't wanna know about any winch or wizard nor interested in any Deeper life Church story.

Like I told you TeHN is more than 1 or 2 people you have issues or business with. Free us and mention only the individuals that mentioned you.

Thanks.

@bolded

Interesting, just because of my simple advise to make sure Tehn has a medical personnel on board in Nigeria before taking on medical cases you have decided to go personal...go right ahead with getting personal whilst the body counts keep increasing...its your call...

And FYI, Babyosisi is one of the ladies I respect on NL since 2006 and someone I look up to as a Mother...All I told her on that thread was to remember the Hippocrates oath...so keep using your evil mind to paint her as my enemy...
Please don't quote me wrong.

I dont know anything about your children or if anyone mentioned them on Nairaland, neither do I know what was and what is being discussed about you and inspired. I rarely have the time to read outside politics and religion section except when my moniker or TeHN is being mentioned or if i find a topic on home page interesting.

I hold no grudge against you and I have no time to begrudge online and anonymous personalities. You should be the one to stop begrudging TeHN and free TeHN from your discussions. If you have any issue with any of TeHN members, deal with them personally and leave TeHN out of it. TeHN is more that 2 people you know. If you had not mixed up TeHN with your discussion on this thread, I wouldn't have been here.

And I repeat; we never claimed at TeHN to be professional charity giver anywhere, we are just ordinary people who are willing to give helping hands to the needy, we are prone to mistake like all humans, we have feelings and emotions too, and like all human beings we have limitations of how much we can take. So if TeHN as a group made mistake or offended you, forgive us, free us, and stop mixing the group with the individuals in TeHN.

Thanks.

BTW, just for the records, we had two medical doctors that worked with us behind the scene during the last case.

Isn't it strange that when the present government comes under scrutiny most APC supporters deploy their usual defence of give the govt time?
You people would want us to believe Buhari is responsible for the recent upsurge in electricity distrubution without telling us his actual input that necessitated these gains.
What has Buhari done in the energy sector to take credits, if the industry was not performing you and the rest of his supporters would have insisted that the rot in that industry woould take years to eliminate. You failed to recognize the input of the last administration in the power sector and the seasonal advantages of kainji water level.

Stop using the defence ''is not business as usual'' because APC repeated this line in different guises during the election. I remember APC saying it won't be business as usual for boko haram when General Buhari takes over. Since the fight against insurgents have yielded no result, I no longer hear APC supporters saying because Buhari was an ex army General boko haram are trembling in their shoes.
For crying out loud sake this government is less than 2 months old. I can not remember the opposition then being heavy on Jonathan to perform in few months. People started calling him clueless after almost 2 years in office with nothing tangible to show.

Some managers are quick with decision making and they deal with unforseen challenges as they come, while other managers like to make decisions after careful thorough planing. The debate on which is better is for another day.

That said, PMB once said during his 2011 campaign that most of the institutions were well set up but the major problem while they were not working as they should is lack of committed leadership.

Jonathan had more than 5yrs to make Nigeria work but his efforts did not yield desired results while on the seat. If things are working now including Jonathan efforts of the past that failed to give results in his time, then we should appreciate the leadership that GMB represents.

Without doing much government institutions and people are falling in line and we are seeing results because those below know that PMB will not cover up corruption or incompetence. Now am imagining what we will get when he starts taking serious actions.

There is no doubt that GMB is a better leader than Jonathan, but even at that I expect more serious actions from GMB in the coming months and years, failure to do that I will be in the front line of campaign for another leader come 2019.

But 2 months is just too short to fully access someone. Even new employees are given average of 3 months probation to prove themselves. Let's wait for the first real assessment after 100 days.

True, the money is not fully a bailout in the full sense of it. Perhaps it was called a bailout because of the CBN component. The states were allowed to renegotiate their existing loans and also borrow more.

I mean why do the ex-president do it anyway even if it is not a requirement.

Explain sir because I am now confused
WombRaiders:
And how do you justify sharing this money without a budget?
Isn't the budget based on revenue?
You accuse Ngozi of not having budgetary approval for spending revenue from this same source but see nothing wrong when Buhari does same.
do you see your hypocrisy?
I don't know how to explain this better. FG account/money and budget is different from money that goes into the federation account which belongs to FG, States and Local Governments.

That money is shared monthly and does not need senate's approval.

While each state assembly approves how each state should spend its portion and other IGR, the senate and House of Reps only approve the income and expenditure of the FG.

If Buhari decides to spend the share of the FG on what is not already in the approved budget then he will need to to get the approval of the Legislature. Right now that is not the case. He only approved sharing of monies that belong to the 3 tiers of government.
